Do Persona 3 Fans Really Hate FES and Portable that much?

Or is it just valid criticism of the narrative changes made by FES and Portable that's being masked as "hate" by Persona modder MeovvCAT?

    >Atlus fans for years think everything story-wise has been awful when added to a port/remaster and wish they hadn't
    >"WTF THEY'RE ONLY ADDING THE RELEVANT PARTS OF FES AND PORTABLE AND NOT THE ANSWER OR FEMC, FRICKNG GREEDY israeliteS, THIS IS NOT WORTH 60 DOLLARYDOOS!"

That's EXACTLY how the fandom's been since Reload was announced last summer.

Funny how for years, everybody collectively agreed The Answer and FeMC were dogshit. Funny how everybody agreed for years ATLUS made a big mistake by letting Chidori live in FES and Shinjiro live in Portable thus negating the point of death in a game who's narrative themes hinge upon death and how it affects the human experience. But again, the moment Reload was announced to not have The Answer or FeMC, all of a sudden, we've seen this whole "The Answer/FeMC good actually!" bandwagon rise up and keep going on and on to the point the same homosexuals parroting said bandwagon are huffing serious copium because now, now, they believe The Answer and FeMC will be added to Reload as part of a DLC which is just laughable seeing as how Reload for all intents and purposes is going to be the definitive version of Persona 3. Why would ATLUS smear shit over a well baked perfectly designed red velvet cake when they've been vocal about Reload being a remake of the original Persona 3 with the gameplay additions of FES, Portable, and Persona 5 alongside new content made exclusively for Reload such as the Link Events nothing more nothing less.

        >everybody collectively agreed The Answer and FeMC were dogshit.
what is this schizo nonsense? portable and FES are way more popular than the origonal persona 3 to the point where its not even close. Like not even remotely close. I get it, autistic insecure homosexuals like you can't accept that some people like things that they dont, but really, most people like those things, and you are just going to have to get over it. They outnumber you by a far margin, and those are the people upset that those things were not included in the remake.

It's not schizo nonsense when prior to Reload, nobody was really going to bat for the narrative additions FES and Portable brought to Persona 3's story. Sure, there was the occasional weirdo who liked The Answer or FeMC, but there wasn't this vocal minority with the Persona fandom who was demanding ATLUS add them to a hypothetical Persona 3 remake either. Most Personagays agreed it was stupid of ATLUS to let characters fated to die live, most agreed Yukari was an insufferable b***h for the sake of dramatic friction within S.E.E.S during the story of "The Answer", and most agreed FeMC was too happy go lucky for a bittersweet story where her male counterpart has to learn to see the bright side of life so that his eventual sacrifice at the end of the game means something whereas FeMC Mary-Sue'd her way into that because of how affable she is from the start.

Again, the moment Reload was announced and ATLUS made it clear neither The Answer nor FeMC would be a part of it, all of a sudden, this vocal minority of media illiterate dipshits sprang up trying to re-write Persona 3 fandom history by claiming The Answer and FeMC were always good which neither is actually true by any objective measure.

Answer sure, but FeMC was pretty popular when portable was released

You forgot to mention how fricking ugly P3:Reload looks like with its ugly dark blue reskinned Persona 5 UI and how awful it sounds with its new soundtrack sounding like it's mixed by a chimp with Down's syndrome.

          >Persona 5 UI

It's more stylish now than vanilla Persona 3 ever was sure, but P5 UI was more bombastic and in your face whereas P3R's UI is more reserved and minimalistic. This isn't a valid complain by the way.

          >soundtrack mixed by a chimp with Down's Syndrome

Only the new rendition of Mass Destruction is lackluster. Every other remixed track sounds at least good if not great.

Instead of taking all of the extra content and fixing it to make it work, they're throwing it away. Why wouldn't I be upset?

I don't know if you recall but there were always heavy criticism towards The Answer and Portable. The Answer is LITERALLY just an additional ten hours of Tartarus.

Mary Sue is how I'd describe her.

God I'm hoping Chidori and Shinjiro stay dead in Reload after they die and Elizabeth doesn't pull a FF7R to derail the main story in favor of Makoto not sacrificing himself to seal away Nyx like some schizo autists have been speculating in the Persona fandom for months now all because Tara Platt is reprising her role as Elizabeth in Reload.

Chidori's not staying dead, Junpei references her in that one fighting game.

Then why does Junpei cradle her in his arms as she looks at him lovingly during a trip to the Dark Hour? Also, in regards to Shinjiro, why does the entiriety of S.E.E.S including Ken look upset during another trip to the Dark Hour?

I wish people genuinely appreciated that Atlus makes playing a FeMC a different experience.

If she was a delinquent type who like her male counterpart has to learn to appreciate the good in life, I'd appreciate ATLUS's efforts to include gender choice in P3P, but instead they make her a borderline Mary Sue who's too damn peppy for a game about death and seeing as how fricking Bioware had nailed down how to make female playable characters still mesh with the overall themes and ideas of their stories by the time P3P released in 2009...yeah, needless to say if ATLUS wants to bring back a female playable character for Persona 6, they had better do it proper in that like Bioware games, gender choice is irrelevant outside of pronouns and romance options.

I don't give care about your autistic fandom warfare, but please tell me the remake allows me to control all the party members.

Technically, Portable introduced controllable party members ala Persona 4 at the time, but yes, Reload lets you choose whether you want AI controlled party members or manual player controlled party members.

They teased Elizabeth saving Makoto in Persona 4, Arena and Persona 3 Dancing

That means nothing though. With ATLUS having been unambiguously clear about Reload being a remake of the original game (with all the bells and gameplay related whistles from FES, Portable, and 5), I sincerely doubt we're getting a FF7R subversion with Reload where surprise, we were playing a secret sequel to the original PS2 game all along.
