actually, now that i think about it, her family is all doctors, lawyers, judges, wealthy like yukiko's. she was extremely sheltered with helicopter parents. the first time she went to college, she had a curfew and had to be home by 5 o clock.

unfortunately, she was going back to school and had a hard time focusing on school and work at the same time. she said she was considering putting in her 2 week notice. i said that's the right decision. she already flunked out of school once, she can't do it again. she'll get a real job and make some real money. so she gave her notice.
when i came in the next day, her desk was completely empty. she already packed up her things and left. her grandfather took a turn for the worse and she had to quit early.
i didn't even get to say goodbye.
she pranked me one last time. tape on my mouse sensor. changed my desk phone's ringtone. a big glob of sunscreen (don't ask) on my keyboard. and some nasty smelling hand sanitizer in my drawer with the cap off.
i've tried my best to hold it in but i cried at my desk all week. now i'm going to be sitting by myself for 8 hours on friday in pure silence.
