That's your warning sign for "This person can and will airblast all your rockets". Or switch to your shotgun if you're able.

Shotgun is fine with all flamethrowers just because it's honestly a better weapon than the flamethrowers.
Obviously, it compliments stock and the backburner best. But I honestly feel like it's not really detriment with the phlog and dragon's fury simply because you cannot go wrong with high damage hitscan.
I've seen people show how you can rapidly swap between a degreaser shot and the panic attack shot for insane dps. But I just don't have the aim and dexterity to perform that consistently.

Sounds very good on paper but most of your shotgun use goes into medium range where the Panic Attack sucks, but if you use the Dragon's Fury the Panic attack is very fun.

Stock's the only answer because once you start playing shotgun pyro you'll almost never actually use the flamethrower unless to airblast.

There's a button that swaps to your last equipped weapon, think it's Q by default. Takes a lot of manual effort out of tricks like that.
