Most Ren'Py games are just glorified slideshows of 3D model render asset flips, though.
Open source VN engine that's braindead easy to use and make your own VN. Nothing inherently wrong with it but the low barrier to entry means that it's really easy for someone to pose a model in DAZ, take some pictures, and string them together into RenPy to create a WEG.
