I've been happier since I dropped competitive games I believe. I'm probably just not good enough to really climb to those higher ranks, but it gets tiring
Now I'm back to playing singleplayer stuff or coop shit with friends, even picked up reading again, hoping to stay away from esports here on
Valorant because it has less util

It does have ult rounds but the tradeoff is worth it
not everyone is buying nades and not everyone is using them effectively while you can point and click most util in valorant + wallhack arrows

valorant has actual people talking. however they all seem to be hyper obsessed nerds who will stalk and harass you the entire game if you make single mistake. unlike csgo players who are just generally depressed anti-social morons.
comp games bring out the insecurities of most, they start pointing fingers at whatever they can to justify the fact that they're losing. creates the extremely obnoxious community that is now in place

When I tried deathmatch to get used to the movement and shooting, there were plenty of cheaters enjoying the game.
Considering the game has been earning more revenue than LoL i would say yes.

Valorant is literally just a cheap chinese knockoff of CS, plus they added spells similar to the old WC3 custom mod from 1.6 days.
There's a reason why 90% of Valorant's playerbase are asians and/or zoomers.
I don't enjoy either but at least CS is somewhat aesthetically pleasing. Meanwhile, Valorant has this awful "Korean-pixar-Overwatch" artstyle that is there to attract Philippinos etc. Just awful
