Look, Cyrus is a lot deeper if you actually look into the hints about his past scattered throughout platinum. He originally lived in the old chateau, with the rotom you find there likely being his that possessed a toy robot. He grew up with high expectations from his parents and eventually went to live in Sunnyside with his grandpa where he spent all his time tinkering with machines. This is likely what led to his philosophy of the human spirit being a weakness, machines fulfill their purpose without hesitation and do it well. Not to mention in PLA we get an explanation as to how he knows so much about the legends of sinnoh, with Cylene saying she will pass down stories of the galaxy team to her descendants
Still, he went for the depressed nihilism route, rather than transhumanism? Fail. Actually, thinking on that, it'd be neat to see a "humanity is evil, I need to fuse everyone with Pokemon to dilute the evil away" type villain or something.
I guess I'll say that Cyrus is my least favorite Trainer from the games I've played, at least (gen 1-5).
I don't usually go for established characters in vore, but if she shows up, I'd rather see: >strengthening her relationship with her team, or another Leader/E4/Champion's team (willing, nonfatal, possibly not oral) >wagering lives against a strong Trainer, losing, and getting a relatively comfortable death >challenged with the same wager, winning, and calmly guiding the loser to Garchomp/Milotic - not cruelly, but they're not getting out of their bet >exploring a region, getting eaten by a wild Pokemon, with a relatively harmless escape strategy
She accepts defeat gracefully and has a genuine interest in the culture, history, and nature of her surroundings; the spammer's stuff just feels out of character. She is, however, human, which means she looks great sliding into a Pokemon.
