Unless you are going to go crazy with patches and game, a 256 GB SD card is pretty good, I bought a cheap off brand one with my Vita months ago and it still works.

The only think I liked and remember about my Vita is that the port of MGS3 was the only one to have the Snake Eater intro properly synced. If the Master Collection fricks it up, I doubt they will they will fix it.

Nah not really. Played all the vita games I wanted to play and I played the shit out of the PSP back in the day.
Emulation on the vita is half baked and that's being generous. Thing got exploited so late in its lifecycle that the homebrew scene is kinda garbage compared to PSP.

If you go OLED make sure you run VitaDeploy on it immediately to get an IMC like the 2000/TV then hack it like one. You do not need an official memory card at all.

I stopped around 4 years ago. I love the form factor, but I had 2 memory cards fry themselves and it really killed my love of the thing. Ended up rebuying pretty much everything I had on it for PS4 and Switch instead and play those now.
Piracy and those adapters weren't a thing back when I was using it. After it became a thing Switch was already out and getting Vita ports like crazy so I moved over to using that.

Mine is so old/cheap? it doesn't even have the game card housing which is not a big deal since I don't have physical carts to care about.
