Not really. Snorunt is a fantastic design that pulls from Japanese Mythology.
Glalie is ball of ice with dumb teeth that vaguely looks like an oni if you squint really hard.
Thank god Froslass fixed the line and gave Snorunt a proper youkai evolution.

Dark/Ice would be worse with those stats. It works on Sneasel/ Weavile due high speed and atk, on Glalie would only bring more weakness.
