I own two GameSir G3s controllers, both have noticeable input lag on wireless regardless of platform, both lock up randomly when powered and have to be reset with a pin using the hole at the back and the battery's dead on one of them.
Not the original anon calling them shit, but they are a bit.

Also, perpetually blinking lights when wired that you simply cannot turn off.
ebay, unless you want to pay top dollar. The one in the beat up box cost me $60, but it's still brand new and this other one that I've had since the black controllers came out doesn't feel like it's going to quit anytime soon.
Too bad, I'm not sure where else you'd be able to find the real thing and not the chinese knockoff using the old shells.

Series X controller makes previous versions obsolete due to the redesigned D-pad. No contest whatsoever.
Of course you can still buy older or 3rd party for cheaper but regardless it's probably the best controller for PC right now
I'm an idort and while I actually do think the Dualsense is the better controller, the Series X is the superior controller for PC specifically.
Switch pro can suck my chode though, they really fricked up with this one.
The Switch Pro upsets and baffles me, because for me it's the most comfortable shape of the current 3 by far but ended up being otherwise disappointing. How did Nintendo frick up a D-pad so badly? How do they keep neglecting analog triggers when they had them 16 fricking years before the Switch and when the competition kept them since? Why is it $70 christfricking dollars? Why have they never released any standard color variants? And even then, why are the limited editions just half-assed edits of the stock design?
The dual shock 6 is not a good controller. It has fun gimmicks and a nice build quality but the battery life is fricking terrible and the dpad is mush.
Controller is absolutely terrible and Sony knows its shit. That's why they didn't make the DualShock 4 compatible with their PS5 games. No one gives a shit about reactive triggers.
I sold off my 360 and its accessories for a pretty penny when older video games were getting peak ridiculous during the pandemic, so I've been using my Dualshock 3 via DsHidMini. It's pretty comfy, though Steam has been an butthole about recognizing since the first Steam Deck update.
I hate how shitty new controllers are. I have four 360 controllers and I dread the day they break. I've tried new xbox controllers and something on them breaks within a few months every single time. Meanwhile my ten year old 360 controller is still going strong after years of playing fighting games.
I loved mine but it started driftin, so I let my friend use it. I used mine for many years before that and I consider it to be the best pad ive ever had
No not really. In fact I kinda forgot that used to play the Xbox 360 a lot when I was younger. Actually feels kinda weird even though I know it shouldn’t.
I swear they updated the d-pad for later controller revisions.
At first I had a used wired controller and the d-pad was really damn mushy. I then bought a brand new wireless one and the d-pad is more stiff and I've played plenty of 2D games with it.
i stopped using it mostly because of microsoft's gay moron shit when if you unplug then replug your 360 controller it will forever be player 2 from that point on and you gotta uninstall the controller drivers then try to get them to auto-reinstall
these guys make both windows and xbox and they cant just make this shit work. unbelievable
No, the cable has disconnection issues.
I bought a new PDP one but it doesn't work in Windows 7 so just use GNU/Linux when I want to play using a controller.
I used my wired 360 controller for 11 years and finally had to get rid of it last year because the left stick started to stick. Now im stuck using an xbox one controller and unlike the 360 which is permenantly wired in with protection the xbox one controller constantly disconnects at the usb port. Its shit and I wish I would could get another genuine wired 360 controller (most of them being sold now are just knockoffs)
No, the rubber on the sticks was wearing thin, the right trigger was squeaking like crazy and the left stick had begun to drift. It had a good run though, lasted 12 years for me. Been using a Series X controller instead and it's way more comfortable to use.
No, sir.
>gamesir
>it's fricking real
It is also a pretty good controller.
For a month or three before it breaks.
No it is pretty durable. You need to stop throwing your shit in an autistic rage.

My 360 pad has finally died the other day. What should I buy as replacement? Preferably cheap and reliable, and wired of course.
Another 360 pad.
I play touhou with it.
>Another 360 pad.
Where do I get a new one and not a chink bootleg copy?

>ebay
Not an option unfortunately.

Nope. I retired it last year. It still works perfectly. I want it to stay that way. Got a SeX controller to replace it.
I've never owned one and never will.
How to spot fake chink ones?
>gets a wired one
>this little bugger connector starts to fail
Everyone knows what it's like, but never chooses to talk about it
how does a connector can start to fail if you literally never touch it? just replace the cable homie
The red wire had come loose and was shorting out the other wires with mine, was an easy fix.
my old wired 360 controller died almost 8 years ago and i've just used a xbone controller since, it's okay i guess
yes, they're great. MIne have a cord, tho. Have cordless shit.

No contest. Symmetric gays need not apply.

homie you can't just shit talk a controller from the future and not show pics
I refuse to use the new gay nomenclature like they tried to force on us with the dualshake or bananarang controlellers.
Controller is absolutely terrible and Sony knows its shit. That's why they didn't make the DualShock 4 compatible with their PS5 games. No one gives a shit about reactive triggers.
That turnd has the worst build quality of all the gamepads. my 360 controller still works and has no drift.
>erratic stick circularity
>no gyro
>pickier face-button actuation than the competition's controllers
>"no contest"
Why did you quote no contest twice, newbie?
because your mom
D-pad is too shit for me
git gud
They git gut at making better d-pads so I don't have to
The cord turned to shit so I bought new new one instead. Now that one drifts

replaced with ps5's, a lot better imo
Yeah, when I play games on my 360
Only when I'm playing on the 360. For PC I use the Series X controller.

Xbox has the best controllers.
Hell yeah, it never runs into driver errors so it's incredibly convenient to have on standby.
A friend borrowed mine and never gave it back, but I got myself the series X pad so it's all good. Series X is so much better
A real man uses and appreciates the 360 dpad.
I loved mine but it started driftin, so I let my friend use it. I used mine for many years before that and I consider it to be the best pad ive ever had
I don't think I've ever had stick drift on a controller except the n64.
No not really. In fact I kinda forgot that used to play the Xbox 360 a lot when I was younger. Actually feels kinda weird even though I know it shouldn’t.

anyone tried chinese dpad replacements for 360? mine is fricked, it misclicks like absolute ass
Can I Bluetooth it with windows 11?
No, the 360 did not use bluetooth.
13 years of use, buyed new one Razer Wolverine V2 i like clickiness
yes
I do. I still also still use my 360 era TE stick.
i stopped using it mostly because of microsoft's gay moron shit when if you unplug then replug your 360 controller it will forever be player 2 from that point on and you gotta uninstall the controller drivers then try to get them to auto-reinstall
these guys make both windows and xbox and they cant just make this shit work. unbelievable
No. I have a zillion Xbox One and Series controllers.
Yep. Wired 360 controller just werks.
best controller ever
No, all of mine started drifting from all the Skate I was playing in the 360 days
I still use it for certain games but I will admit it's falling off in favor of my DS3
why cant they just make this controller again? I hate the fricking xbox one shape
No, the cable has disconnection issues.
I bought a new PDP one but it doesn't work in Windows 7 so just use GNU/Linux when I want to play using a controller.

Only on the 360, otherwise I'm a DualShock 4 guy for games where a controller is necessary (Yakuza)
Yes, just finished playing some Battletoads with mine.
I've literally never used an Xbox 360 controller in my entire life
>mfw just realised I'm playing Halo 3 on MCC with my Xbox 360 controller from 2007
It broke now I use Dualsense.
ENTER
and yes I'm a shitskin
