>first teaser trailer only shows the grind of Lumiose construction and the fact we will be redeveloping the city... and the return of megaevolution
You are insane if you think they aren't making more megas, specially when people kept asking for new ones all the time and only stopped when they removed it for gen 8
I'm torn, and it really comes down to HOW many Mega Evolutions we get. I don't see us getting none considering how much people have clamored for new ones past the initial 48.
My opinion is probably similar to . Probably won't entirely forgo regional forms, but they'll be more a side attraction this time.
>native Kalos mons
There are 450 native Kalos mons. Don't confuse native Kalos pokemon with pokemon from gen 6, the former list can be expanded, the later can't.
>since the Gen VI dex is so small
Are you a fricking zoomer? One of the main reasons why Kalos, Galar, and to a lesser extent Paldea have such a lack of identity as regions is because of their frickhuge dex sizes. All three have ~2/3 of all the mons in their wilds and that leaves the region without a hard identity to it.
>muh identity!! >you see it’s actually a GOOD thing sinnoh has the “”identity”” of being a boring as shit region that spams geodude and zubat!!
get a better argument
They obviously mean how there's barely any Kalos mons. Gens 6 and 7 barely have any new Pokemon. Paldea was the first region in 9 years to introduce more than 100 new Pokemon.
Everytime i see ae-girlan Raichu i can't help but thinking it became different than the original not because of Alola's climate but because a Pikachu ate too much pancakes.
Both. A handful of regional variants/evolutions (about the same as PLA) and then a few new Megas.
The only ones I would be 100% certain on are the original Kalos starters and likely whatever starters they use for PLZA.
If the game is set in the present/a few years after XY, how are they going to explain why the new regional variants weren't in XY's Lumiose but are in LZ-A's reformed Lumiose?
At least with megas they can just go "we just found their mega stones recently!"
>Some tourists left a bunch of Pyukumuku eggs here and for some reason they hatched into Ground/Fairy ones. I am tentatively naming these Kalosian Pyukumuku.
I think it will, but they'll be like a new spin or approach to regionals. Like say all new regionals are discovered as living in the Lumiose equivalent of the Paris Catacombs - I could see them calling them 'Catacomb forms' or whatever they call it, rather than Kalosian forms. Or if this is in the future, then maybe they'd be artificial and named after the company that made them, like 'Devon forms' or something like that. Just with how they like to separate Pokemon based on introduction, I feel like anything new is going to very deliberately not 'Kalosian' so they're clearly grouped separately from Gen 6 mons.
That’s would make no sense. That would mean game freak would have to design a Kalos form AND a mega form to fit with it. Most likely scenario is that they will get a Kalos form while the original Gen 6 starters we will get megas.
I hope it introduces just a couple of Regional forms (not counting starters if their doing it like Arceus) a couple new evos, and a bunch of new megas. And may a new divergent or whatever the frick you call Wiglett, Toedscool and Sinistcha

Why it wouldn't?
Neither. Everyone is getting played

You know what would be funny, if they made more megas and Flygon STILL didn't get a mega.
All the pokemon that matter to GF already got mega’s
Megas since those respect the pokemon that get them instead of replacing them
I think there will be a few new regional variants and evolutions but most of the focus will go to new mega evolutions.

Megas, yes. Regional variants, no. We should get 20-30 new mons since the Gen VI dex is so small.
Yeah of course increasing gen 9's dex (already composed of 120 new pokemon) will make up for gen 6 introducing only 72 new pokemon
Gens 1 and 5 have 150+ mons, so what’s your point? More native Kalos mons would help it feel more distinct.
>native Kalos mons

>he say
>when plza will only have 200 mon in its dex
Kalos is literally only know for megas and that's it. No one care about the pokemon themselves.

They need compcucks to play it so of course they’re gonna put some regional forms and regional evolutions in the game just like they did with pla.
I think there will only be regional forms/evos for the starters
and new megas for the kalos starters and some others
If the game is set in the present/a few years after XY, how are they going to explain why the new regional variants weren't in XY's Lumiose but are in LZ-A's reformed Lumiose?

>only the kalosian forms of the starters and othe gen 7 to 9 mons get mega while the original forms get cucked
Imagine the seething lol

Yup, sound like something GF would do
please happen it would be so funny
