Do you think they realize that are vasts sums of money just sitting out there if they just remade their IP? Are they just fricking stupid nips or what that work there?

I don't think they care
pretty sure you are legally required to lobotomize yourself to work at konami
Pachinko machine go PINGPINGPINGPINGPING
>sit on literal billions for IP's
>go into a dead gambling industry instead that was utterly dumpstered in your country because COVID was a thing
Like i said, legally moronic assclowns.
>Laughs in Western slots
If you haven't been in a casino in the past decade, you might be interested to know that a good portion of machines these days are manufactured by Konami. Easily dozens in the ones I frequent.
Compare this to the 2-10 arcade machines you can sell an arcade, and I'm not surprised at all that they're leaning this hard in the gambling ring.
m8 i was literally in vegas less then 6 months ago, shit was fricking dead compared to normal.
Was there last spring, it did feel quite empty compared to how I remember it the last time I was there, but that ain't really Konami's problem. Once they sell the machines, it doesn't matter too much to them how much they're used.
In the one I frequented about a dozen times in the past two years, I wager that the average Konami machine gets about as much use as a DDR machine from the Dave and Buster's I went to about as often.
they make more money in real estates
when uncle Kozuki died he gave the company to his ungrateful money hungry grand children
have a nice day
Bring back Vandal Hearts. And make it The Watermargin. Worked for Suikoden.
Yugimans and Pachinko makes them tons of money. Also Momotaro and Power Pros in Japan, those are other big cash cows.
You need to invest a huge amount of money for remaking anything, this is an illegal luxury for a criminal front
Suikoden is getting two HD remasters
Silent Hill is getting two new games and a remake
Apparently Metal Gear Solid 3 is getting a remake and there might be some Castlevania stuff coming down the pipeline
caramelbros…
It’s so strange to me that Konami only released Silent Hill 4, Metal Gear, and Metal Gear Solid on GoG and not Steam
I’m glad I can get the games with DRM but they would have been printing money if they put them on the more popular platform
Theres a rumor theyre announcing MGS3 remake and new Castlevania for E3
Shiro on page 1!
k
they're a zombie company with no direction; this is what mismanagement looks like. This is like if Warner Brothers decided they don't want to make films anymore and just licensed their IP for theme park rides, even though nobody goes to Six Flags.
