Korea's given me a few cool games and I've actually enjoyed a couple Chinese ones too
Japanese games are honestly becoming too expensive for me. I can play chinese gachas because they're free and provide optional entertainment for a few minutes while I focus on my my main form of entertainment which is modding bethesda games. I simply can't afford games like P3R which I know I will get bored after a few hours and waste my money.

They're free and paying 4 dollars monthly for gem passes is more digestible to paying 70 dollars for a new jrpg I know I won't finish. Meanwhile I can quit a chinese gacha anytime and pick it up later when a big patch comes out and pay nothing while still getting free currency from returnee events and patch rewards. That is also just for a side game while I also enjoy real games like Total War or Hearts of Iron.
