Sometimes matchmaking can take a minute. That's enough time to do some squats, lift some weights, or even do some jumping jacks.
If you spend 3 hours playing a game with 20 minute matches that's at least 9 minutes of exercise you can get in a day. If the matches are only 10 minutes you can double that time frame. It doesn't take much to burn calories you just have to not be a lazy blob.
You aren't going to be burning shit with 9 minutes of exercise in a day. If you really wanted to, you'd sprint around the block in bursts throughout the day to maintain an elevated heart rate. 2 minute bursts could easily add up to 10 minutes. That'd have a better overall effect at maintaining a higher basal metabolic rate, which is the only thing that actually matters in terms of shaving off pounds.
Well, that and eating less.
