Or mainline game, for that matter? I'm seriously impressed at how good and polished this is. It shows how mediocre gamefreak is.

I put off playing Unbound for a long time but I was stunned at how perfect it was, like frick man. The older versions were kinda cringy in some ways and less polished from what I've seen but 2.0 and up are sooooooooo good. I'm dying for the Cube Corp update.
If anyone is interested in romhacks I sincerely recommend Unbound.
Same. I was put off by the seemingly edgy plot, but they have an option to disable that. Overall, it's quite literally the most polished hack I have played. Attention to detail is everywhere.
They even made a battle frontier with rentals, which I fricking love.
Radical red and Pokemon Run & Bun BTFO it by actually being a challenge for players.
Nah, reddit red is just a grindy gauntlet for the smogon crowd. Unbound has thought and care behind its design, it's a well crafted experience.
I haven't played run and bun
Radical Red has a lot of thought behind it as well except in different places (regarding pokemon distribution, items, gym leaders, etc). Further by popularity Radical Red absolutely BTFO of Unbound. Not saying Unbound isn't good, it's decent, a lot of unique features as well, Radical Red is just better (so is Run & Bun).
>Radical Red has a lot of thought behind it as well except in different places
I agree with this, but ultimately it's a fire red expansion. Unbound is a completely different game, it's comparing apples and oranges.
Now, run and bun seems interesting. I'll be trying that.
Bro I've played Radical Red SEVERAL times now and love it to death but Unbound is no cakewalk dude, it has 4 DIFFICULTY options. I've only played Expert and Insane in my 3 runs of it and they're really tough, the boss battles in particular. RR was my favourite hack but Unbound dethroned it because it's a whole new experience while having so many options and being so good. Like the other anon said though, apples to oranges. You gotta respect Skeli though as it's thanks to his CFRU engine we even got RR.
At least the Seviian mons are easy to avoid, I really like them all personally.
>radical red
The fight with Brendan at Silph Co is one of the cringiest things in romhack history too.
>compshit
Automatically inferior in every way to online ranked and Showdown
>Generic "difficulty" hacks.
They are garbage. Literally the same fricking shit over and over again. I'm not even sure why the frick you bothered to mention two of them when they are the same fricking game.
It’s good but Clover stomps. The more the rom hacking community continues to pretend Clover doesn’t exist, the more it proves our point that it’s objectively the best rom hack ever made.
Any hack with an official game title in its name is trash that’s always objectively worse than the original
really?
Why is umbreon so morbidly obese and cute?
Easily the best ROM Hack. I have nothing against difficulty hacks inherently but they get stale fast. Radical Red lost me when they started adding fanmade designs
quarantine dex is the best romhack and unbound doesn't even come close to it
Quarantine Crystal is an esl mess.
nobody asked for youe opinion troony
Why are esls always obsessed with trannies?
because reasons
Based Lucas costume enjoyer.
Honestly the fight with Giovanni 3 with Lance is way more brutal in all my older rounds[/S

I don't remember that one. The thing I hate about the silph fight is that he activates the opponents competitive, uses moves like mega drain on his level 50 mega sceptile, and then acts like he's helping. It's the devs shitting all over you for no reason. I could handle two of those but all three is too much.
I seriously loved Pokemon Infinity. Doesn't have your typical Pokemon game structure, but the world was pretty great and I really liked the plot.
Plus the Fakemon were actually excellent.
