I had an Octillery in an Emerald randomizer a few months back. He was great but died tragically at ~level 43 to Tate & Liza's Xatu. I'm also a life-long contrarian so my favourite Pokemon are whatever is least popular.

I don't like remoraid turning into it, even in the original designs with more obvious theming. those old designs would be slightly better than just being generic animals though.
honestly it ought to be Water/Fire given the theme & color scheme. would be way more noteworthy.
But it also learns ice and electric moves. It's a beam user where Hitmonchan is a puncher. You wouldn't make Hitmonchan not a pure Fighting type, just because it has coverage.
it's funny to me that it's an ultra rare late game mon found on a single route yet they were deathly afraid of giving it the same BST as Blissey >b-b-but how does an Octopus move fast???

He is a schizo who has been here ever since 2019. He hates Avery on pokemon shield for not being a female character. He often expresses desire to kill the fictional character, especially by stabbing him with a kitchen knife. Sometimes his filenames will be in Chinese and badly made in windows paint.

Great design and concept but suffers from shitty gen 2 stat distribution. Definitely fun for single players though

Octillery is a pokemon I enjoy on wonder trade. I won't trade one unless I can give it tm moves I like. I currently have a few in my pc boxes.
