Weird how they don’t even bother trying to upgrade the game’s graphics. The app takes up like 200mb worth of storage and that’s nothing for a modern aaa mobile game.

well, its one of the newer boards so it's natural to not have as much of a deep culture compared to the other boards, but if that dragalia lost EoS sticky told me something is that there is a culture around here no matter where you look at it.
Now about which players would be in i believe it would be a mix between legacy phones/old java games, the most discussed games on the board (dokkan, feh, etc.) and everything else phone related. Personally i would try do like one rep for each game but that's up for the board at the end of the day,
if you guys are willing to have a team i would be glad to work out all the details for it. but first of all we need to decide on a roster, maybe suggest some players and we can work out from there?

/vst/ doesn't really have board culture but they just won an elite cup
could do it where people suggest reps for a poll, and only one from each game/series would be allowed as a rep? That's what /vst/ did at least
that's true, i wish i could ask each thread for a rep, but spamming this for the whole board isn't a good way to approach this either, that's why i asking for suggestions before trying any poll of some sort
There’s enough niche games here that get their own “regular” threads that we can coin up some players. AFK arena, Buriedbornes, dolphin wave, Alice gear, magikami, space leaper and PADS, the ones off the top of my head. Could of course take some from DBZ, blue archive and such. Not to mention general player ideas like ‘itoddler’ since it is phone related.
i have some suggestions of my own too like the indestructible Nokia, Mitsuki for Blue Archive, Essex for Azur Lane, Soccer cat for battle cats, a java rep, we just need like a rep for each thread and we could get 23 players easily. We also need to think about the anthems and stuff too

Last time someone went from 0 to Star in 4 Elites was Ganker in Winter '14, and it would have been 3 if /vst/ hadn't debuted in the World Cup. Not a world record, but a respectable speedrun.
Anyway, greetings from. I've said a lot of shit about you guys for not making a team back in the day, so it's gratifying to see you all remedying that. It was a messy spot for all of the Gankeralkans, since we each had maybe one or two things that sprung from the board itself (King Gedivilas for us, HOST WHEN? for /vm/). As anon said, restricting players to one per franchise helps keep things spread out, so you get more pull from having a /mygame/ player on the field. For what it's worth, I'd enjoy seeing FRICK YOUR TOWER out there on the field.

Here’s a question though, what would the team do about player models? I doubt anyone here is a good enough blender monkey to make something for the team, do people at 4cc make ‘em?
there's a dedicated group that helps with aesthetics, /aesco/. They are fairly stretched, though, so it's advantageous to have a blender monkey on the team staff.
it would be the manager's responsibility to do such thing, The only thing /aesco/ is supposed to do is to check if the models aren't broken before a match. But if you have download links to any of the character's models, that would be really helpful.

i was just checking to see if there was enough interest for this team to be real, i wouldn't mind stepping up if that is the case, there's still plenty of time before the the next babby so i believe this is still possible but i don't really have a plan of attracting interest right now besides making this thread and see how it goes

Someeone made a 'fake' team. If we are lazy we can just use that. If it does happen the only thing I would do is help re-design the logo.
It would be the bigger not-generals fighting the smaller not-generals to get their waifu/husbando on the team all whilst the 'real game' generals on /vg/ question why these board exists.

Just a reminder that, it's not just the roster we need to decide but the team colors, kits and the logo as well. if no one decides to try making a logo, i shall try doing it myself, as always, the board will always have the final say on everything. posted. The placeholder color seems to be green and would still fit a more retro phone aesthetic.

this thread was linked to the cup main general on /vg/ and this might interfere with the formation of the team (since we still have to think about alternative ingame names for most of the roster and the music) i don't know if we should keep proposing them here or go for another thread in order to keep it with the suggestions of the people from this board only.

For some players we had to come up with some models for it because of the names were a bit too vague and the lack of suggestions of models for them that wasn't another 2d head, so we decided to include models from other threads that weren't on the team already based on the polls, i thought it would be the best way to handle this.

Other manager here. I really don't know what happened on the 1st half, I haven't seen such an abysmal performance in any single test match that I ran this week. Really sorry about that, i just feel like we were given the middle finger by RNG today.. At least dragalia could put one in, the first official /vmg/ goal ever (although she choked a couple obvious chances too...)
But we aren't giving up anytime soon, we are 100% on it and we are going to do our best to get our first W. Let's get them this sunday

Sorry about today lads, i saw /jp/'s attack repeatedly and i didn't focus on defensive play as i should've been, that and pes giving us the middle finger twice, regardless there's still one match next saturday and the next babbys is in 6 months, if you want to help the team with the aes or tactics feel free to contact us or give your suggestions in this thread. Well, the question is does /vmg/ have a home stadium? But I guess you managers have a six month break to do that so no rush until the end of the Summer Cup.
You see that's complicated, because the /admins/ already stated that they want to move to pes15 when they find out how to move all the aes in there and that might happen in the next babby so converting the entire team might take all the time we have for aes work...or not, we'll see about that. Also me and the other manager have different ideas on how the stadium should be so might as well let the board decide when the time comes.

I'm surprised no team has thought of having multiple stadia and alternating between them.
Making a good stadium takes a lot of effort. Converting some model is easy, but filling it with details and crowds so it doesn't feel empty is the hard part.
With the autism people already put in for testing the formations and for PES in general, that shouldn't be too much.
only if there's existing models for us to port into pes, creating new models is way harder to do
