Imagine if people played a sequel to literally any other game in any other series and said some shit like this. >"Yea, that was a cool game and all, I liked the new content, but where's the old content? Like from the pervious games?"
Like homie IT IS IN THOSE PREVIOUS GAMES GO PLAY THEM. Games aren't compounding pools of content, sequels usually don't contain the entirety if their predecessors as just a part of them. It was nice once as a surprise but it should never be the standard
It was just a joke cuz it's the same thing the guy in Gold and Silver says when you go to Kanto.
And I wanted to show off finally getting my gold trainer card B)
>Connect two wireless adapters to my GBAs so I can practice Pokemon Jump with my Emerald and LeafGreen for the trainer card progression in LeafGreen >Both connect okay, but the moment I go into the minigame room in Emerald I instantly exit it, leaving LeafGreen searching for a closed connection >Tested all four wireless adapters I have and all connect >Even swapped games between the two GBAs and Emerald STILL won't let me connect >When I've done this before no problem
What the hell is going on? Now it's claiming the wireless connector isn't hooked up, when it clearly is, and LeafGreen JUST used that GBA and connector. The Union Room works fine, it's just this that doesn't.
FireRed and LeafGreen can connect just fine.
Emerald rejects connecting to LeafGreen entirely. It just exits the minigame room instantly.
Emerald and FireRed connect briefly, but Emerald shows a black screen and then freezes, while FireRed shows a random Pokemon instead of what I chose, then freezes (chose Sableye, showed Aipom and then Bulbasaur)
Oh god what is happening
I dunno if this is ironic or not lol
I think I had three stars at around 100 hours since I was catching everything for the dex during my playthrough and was actually keeping up with growing berries for contests, the other 70 hours was purely dedicated to breeding, EV training and grinding the Battle Tower - I had about 20 runs ending in the high 30s or low 40s.
It's the weirdest thing.
Dragon Quest 1-3 did the "map from previous game is part of the map in the new game" thing too but you don't see anyone complaining that 4 was something completely new.
There's also the people who legitimately think that there should be a Pokemon game where you just go to all regions. How would that even work kek?
It's an interesting idea though. I kind of wonder if Pokemon will eventually move to a GAAS model like Destiny, MTX and all, and then release new regions each made in a year or two as expansion packs. Obviously there would be a lot of anger here, but the majority would still 100% eat it up and they could make money hand over fist
No, and thank goodness. The last game the let you go to KANTOOOOO, was robbed off any identity, defined solely by its relation to KANTOOOOOOOO, and hated by fans and Game Freak alike.

Giving a reality check to people with unrealistic standards is not what autism is. Learn the definitions of words before using them.

in 173 hours only? That's impressive

it wouldn't
KANTOOOOO
RS looked better than Emerald. Who agrees?
The colors honestly look pretty desaturated and lifeless compared to emerald.
Black person thats a filter
filter my dick with your ass
you're insane
emerald version
Works on my machine.
It's designed with the fog in mind, fricking disingenuous moron.
So is the Emerald version, cretin. Yet it still looks less like a fricking GBC tileset.
jesus christ this genuinely looks like they ported the gsc tileset, recolored it green, and called it a day
The overworld trainers are based on gen 2 versions, so...
Yes.

crackhead opinion
Are you the adamant Blaziken guy?
Yeah, but I ditched the Blaziken cause I needed a way to deal with Swampert and Milotic.
games set elsewhere that let you go to Kanto have a track record of being underwhelming at best
>now
Yes. Just buy FRLG.
No, and thank goodness. The last game the let you go to KANTOOOOO, was robbed off any identity, defined solely by its relation to KANTOOOOOOOO, and hated by fans and Game Freak alike.
all correct except
>and hated by fans and Game Freak alike.
i hated it and that's all that matters
