the sad thing is that BG3 was by far one of the buggiest and unfinished AAA releases of 2023. Starfield had less bugs than BG3. But because BG3 had a fairly polished act 1 and 99.9% of its playerbase as well as all game journalists never bothered to play past act 1, it went completely unnoticed.

I was playing as a human and recruited gale since he was the only other human. I made a couple of hirelings, just 2 mages a cleric and a ranger in the camp, all humans. Makes me sad you only get to use 4 people because i remember playing D&D as a kid and you would have roaming bands of 10-20 hirelings raiding a dungeon or a village.
Anyways i ended up slaughtering anyone that wasnt a human which took a long time since the combat is so slow in this game. I got terminally bored by around the dwarf section of the underdark and had to drop the game. the sad thing is that BG3 was by far one of the buggiest and unfinished AAA releases of 2023. Starfield had less bugs than BG3. But because BG3 had a fairly polished act 1 and 99.9% of its playerbase as well as all game journalists never bothered to play past act 1, it went completely unnoticed.
I wouldn't say it was as buggy as Starfield but yeah, BG3 got away with more because the first Act was clearly where the greatest effort went.

Anyways i ended up slaughtering anyone that wasnt a human which took a long time since the combat is so slow in this game. I got terminally bored by around the dwarf section of the underdark and had to drop the game. Idk how people played this save reload garbage. i cant open a chest without rolling dice 5 times? give me a break.

Gor all their flaws, I spent more time playing baldurs gate than I did BotW or elden ring. Loved all three though.

No i like women, baldurs gate was just really fun. The novelty of a turn based RPG absolutely packed full of content in the modern age was part of what made it stand out as opposed to more open world games like elden ring and BotW

the women (and most men for that matter) in this game are so intentionally disgusting, its amazing anyone gets horny over them or writes their gay ass fanfics. I thought fire emblem had the worst design of the decade with this girl but she blows the entire female cast of bg3 out of the water. its funny watching people cope that manbody, butch side shaved, horn and rocky face having, freddy krueger burn victim, no titty, OI GUVNAH, karlach is even remotely attractive.
Hmm, I wonder why no one ever talks about the combat for this game? Could it be that waiting 20mins for 50 npcs to do their turns isn't fun?
