Cool. What starter did you pick?
I'm probably going with Tepig
Are you on emulator? cheat in the key system so you can set the game to challenge mode, it gives the npcs some more pokemon and higher levels
Enjoy anon. I know you will.
I didn't like the story very much, it feels like Gold and Silver 2 in that regard. I hear the PWT is cool though
>I usually stop at the movie thing
i'll never understand how this one five-minute diversion filtered so many people
>I’ll never understand how people stopped playing this boring as frick game
it's not boring just because you said it is
You’re right. It’s boring because it’s tedious easy dogshit that barely has anything to do with the entire rest of the game that the game forces you to mash A through.
nothing kills motivation more than being forced to do shit you don't want to, especially in an RPG
>being forced to pick up a starter is okay
It's arguably worse. Showing off an otherwise new feature in the beginning of the game isn't so deal-breaking if you aren't an ADHD child.
Anon you cannot seriously be comparing getting a starter, a short little thing that starts off the game and is an active choice that will impact your playthrough, to a forced tutorial for a side feature that most players will not engage with especially after having been made to do so without a choice
>short little thing
I mean it's not much shorter. Pokestar is the only side-game to my knowledge that actively uses the battles system we all know and love, still feeling like the same game. Others could pass as separate games. It's seriously not a big deal considering you seem to want to rush only to parts of the game that every other pokemon game has, instead of taking their new editions as actual positives.
additions*, apologies
ADHD mostly, why do you think every new game has a new shining battle gimmick? Zoomers can't deal with side activities, they need that sweet and constant GAME button.
Yes. Good games typically add new mechanics instead of stagnating like Gen 5.
Gen 5 added more new shit than whatever newer region you're imagining.
Yeah it added a gimmicky coin flip version of single battles, a gimmicky coin flip version of double battles, and….uh….um….
>the new features in question MUST flip battles on their head because....well....THEY JUST HAVE TO OKAY??!!!! NO OTHER PARTS OF THE GAME EXIST!!!1
Ignoring things don't make them cease existing, dear boy.
You’re right. Them not existing makes them cease to exist.
>What? Gen 5 actually added things- FALALALALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOUGEN FIVE SUCKS GEN FIVE SUCKS HAHAHAHA
Ignore all you want. You probably think you're "influencing" others' opinion when your moronation is this apparent kek
Isn’t it interesting how you haven’t actually listed any new things yet because you know Gen 5 doesn’t have anything?
>Dream World
>Medals
>Difficulty Modes
>Black Tower + White Treehollow (the only pokemon roguelike
>battle institute
>PWT
>Hidden Grottos
>Join Avenue
>Dynamic battle music
>Entralink Pokestar Studios, Musicals, Overworld phenomenon like rustling grass etc, Double wild battles etc
>Eviolite
>berry farming and secret bases but removed from the game
>ribbons but worse
>two easy modes that don’t even work correctly and are practically impossible to unlock without hacking
>battle pyramid but worse
>battle tower but worse
>battle dome but worse
>random encounters but worse
>goldenrod city but worse
>music moronicly getting interrupted by annoying beeping when you get low hp
>contests but worse
Pwt is better than the battle dome.
Yeah I’m sure this is true for people who are bad at Pokemon, like the people who enjoy gen 5.
Why would people who are bad at pokemon enjoy the gen that introduced rating battles and battle tower super modes?
>schizo moron who's wrong and screeches at others but worse
None of what you said is remotely true, so thanks for proving that you ignore new features just to pretend they don't exist.
Tower + White Treehollow (the only pokemon roguelike
The frick you talking about? The fact that you can just overlevel outside and use it inside means it is categorically not a roguelike.
Emerald's Battle Pyramid is a roguelike
>he doesn't like rotations
what a wienersucking homosexual you are
What an embarrassing fricking moron.
>only available during important battles in the main game
>an annoyance in pvp due to having a long unskippable transformation sequence attached every time
Yeah man Dynamax sure is for the ADHD folk
The fact that it was bad implemented doesn't change the fact that it was the quick new toy to distract people from how shitty the game is
unfortunately gf will make alot more profit by pleasing pre adolescents since mommy will always buy game the reason the things the older fandom liked in previous games and hope for new games aren't getting focused on are because we aren't the target audience anymore pleasing us won't make much profit.
no 9 year old is gonna complain about the lack of a battle frontier and good world building and a rich post game they just want flashing bright colours to look at while also scrooling through youtube shorts
the dynamax cutscene is 40 seconds long in every fricking battle
when i first played white 2 as a kid i thought the movie studio was one of the coolest things
Where is op
53954423
>gen 5 bad
>ip count doesn't go up
yawn
A very mid story with some decently enjoyable postgame
Rotation battles are just better single battles, prove me wrong
It's quite good, it was the last good pokemon game imo, but not my favorite tbh.
