I somewhat agree. Equips should've been the way to go. Dragonball Legends may get clowned on occasionally, but one very smart thing they did is how they go about re-buffing units with equipments. It really sets themselves up well for the future a lot better rather than just doing Super Zenkais, which would be their equivalent of Super EZAs.

Agl trunks/gohan just need stats. They're also important to get right, because they're on every fricking banner, fulfill a lot of other units' passive conditions, and have to compete with 6th years for the revive slot.
6th years should be fine without getting their own revive, the only thing locked behind their own revives is the one turn of guaranteed dodge for goku and the one turn of guard for vegeta
His EZA will probably just be simply more defense. And his SEZA will likely just be even more defense and attack.
AGL LR Gohan will 100% be disappointing with his SEZA, because we know for a fact that these frickers are unable to change the active skill conditions due to their fricked up spaghetti code.

At rainbow, with no links active, on a 200% team his defense will be 168k with 10% DR if you only run him as a low class warrior.
With each stack, he gains 84k defense. If you don't run him with another low class warrior, he'll only super once per turn on average.
If he super attacks once per turn for 2 turns, and he somehow doesn't get turned to paste by normals from newer bosses, he's at 337k defense...
You need to transform him by turn 5, since sub-500k defense with 10% DR is worthless when you're past the first phase in newer hard fights.
He'll be at 378k defense with 36% DR once transformed with 2 stacks with 50% chance to dodge for 5 turns, or 3 appearances.
He'll super an average of twice per turn, but doesn't stack anymore, so with 2 supers in a turn he'll be at 567k def. He can "tank" 1 million normals, which are the norm now, for around 80-90k at that point. If you get unlucky and he doesn't double super in a turn, he'll take close to 200k per normal. Obviously, he gets deleted by normals that hit for 1.2+ from the top tier bosses, so he needs to dodge those.

The editor forced him to make changes but it was ultimately Toriyama who wrote everything. He also designed all the Z movie villains, and was heavily involved in broly and super hero. When he's hands off, you end up with the shitper manga and anime. When he's not involved at all, you end up with GT and heroes. There's too much money at stake to not continue the series, but without Toriyama it's going to get worse.

Anni. Even if golden week is peak they come back for WWC. The only other consideration is Tanabata, which will be early this year for the sync, and the unit doesn't come back until next March.

Those two always give out strong units that usually become meta. Saiyan Day is okay but most of the time they get outclassed easily due to power creep, not their fault.
So yeah, May and July are when you should spend your stones. Ignore any other banner unless you have free stones to waste or there’s someone you really like
Going for Golden Week is a terrible idea unless we share the same banner with JP (Hirudegarn and DF Goku) you should consider Tanabata too because it will come sooner to Global because of the merge and the unit won't come back until next Saiyan Day, Tanabata will be pretty much our new WWC schedule frickery >Saiyan Day

Frick no, Trunks is the worst offender. The SSBs are a surprisingly good tank in slot 1 during their intro and VB has 50% DR until he gets 7 digit defense.

Extreme does not get enough support across the year. The extreme units we get are weaker than their super counterparts and usually have a shit tonne of restrictions. More importantly by the time whatever niche team they are on get supports the unit has already been powercrept. I would love for them to make a character that covers a saga with transformations and maybe exchanging. Something like Gotenks -> Gohan -> Goku & Vegeta -> Vegito -> SS3 Goku & Vegeta.
But for the exchange part, maybe this can be a new mechanic that lets you exchange an Ultimate Gohan on your rotation to a Goku & Vegeta/Vegito that's not actually on your team, but one in your roster that you would link on the team formation screen or something.

saiyan day was always synced. these were next on the list for global anyway. goku is on a billion categories so a super class e/sbr including him means nothing. last year's filler dfe was super 17 which had nothing to do with saiyan day.

I really hope it is SS Vegeta and I really hope he's Slot 1 with something like gifted warriors + mastered evolution + full power leader skill. he needed a trunks on the team for his extra damage reduction and by the time they started buffing and releasing trunks units he was already powercrept and there are some categories he is on where trunks isn't, his damage also wasn't great compared to other dokkanfests released around the same time. plus he was ki hungry and only ki changed if he was below 88% and there are so many times, at least for me, I can't get the 6 ki or even enough to super because his best ki link, over in a flash, isn't shared by a lot of other vegetas or trunks
The Trunks requirement held him back a bit, but he was still good until VT came and made an extremely stable rotation for a year until Dismal Future Red Zone.
Majin Vegeta's weakness on release was damage.
Nothing is confirmed (yet) but the way the hand is facing directly to your face makes me think about Frieza, Namek Goku has a chance of being the unit too

Omatsu already talked about enemy domains, just think about it, 5 generic domains, for example City in Ruins domain is the one who nullifies DR. And there's another thing mentioned by Omatsu a month ago about an alternate way of upgrading a unit's passive without a EZA, maybe some sort of equip? Imagine if you can add DR or dodge to a units passive to circumvent the domain powercreep, it should give more life to the units without having to wait for the EZA/SEZA

Every relevant unit in my box is awakened, you get like 150 of Power Level per unit awakened, it is not going to make much difference, the meat is on the link leveling grind, which is what the bot is for
a valid decision, i like vegeta so im probably gonna summon quite a bit for him despite being aware that beast as a unit is probably better and his banner is also better

What's great about him is that there's no reason to transform unless you're low hp and really need the extra defense or if he's taking a lot of attacks after he supers. He gets more defense if he's above ~75% HP in base compared to transformed. At full hp, and fully built up, his def multiplier is 3.3x when getting hit. When he goes SS, it's only 2.8x, but he gets a bit more start of turn def and higher multipliers when super attacking (50% instead of 20%). So at full hp, he'll be a bit better in slot 1 in base than transformed. For example, at 55%, after 5 stacks, he'll be at 820k defense in base at full hp when taking a hit, but at 779k def slot 1 when going SS. However, his defense after super attacking will be 984k in base (assuming he gets two stacks) and 1.17m (with 2 guaranteed supers in slot 1 if he gets hit first) in SS.

he already has crit in his passive and his super attack effects don't give him any additional defense or anything. with his whole passive active he's got a really solid 1.3 million defense at rainbow but dodge helps maximize his odds of not getting smoked by a boss super
with that being said, I wish he was just a little bit better or got def on super but I guess that would be asking quite a bit from a unit who released 9 years ago and originally got an EZA 7 years ago
There is only 1 change I would make to Vegito and Buuhan EZAs and that would be:
Vegito: Make his USA have Greatly raises ATK&DEF for 3 turns Giving his counters a massive boost making him a power house with damage comparable to Broly.
Buuhan: Give him 50% ATK when performing an USA and that is it. This will help his additional supers a shit ton while giving his USA massive attack stat.
This is all I would do, as this would then make them feel 100% comparable to the 6th anni LRs.

I think it will also depend on how fast they start pumping these out. If they're doing 3 a month it will not be possible to keep up on red stones so it'll just be a wait and see who stands the test of time. If it's as slow as regular EZAs then the units fortunate enough to wait half a year could be leagues better than this SS3 Goku is just based on how absurd they shift the meta in that time
Agl ss3 goku is good but it still feels like they did SEZA in the laziest way possible. Give the 6 link units another link, let str and phy lss broly have an immense modifier something more than just a boost in stats

i have been trying to beat gogeta on a private server using vegetas team and i genuinely havent been able to
most of the time something goes wrong and gogeta just decides he wants to super the slot 3 unit, sometimes i get both vegetas in the same turn and this is really shitty because floating vegeta means missing a guaranteed super

Using the skill orbs to round up links from 8 to 9 and go in with a full lvl9 team saves a ton of orbs and time but they still don't give enough skill orbs or keys to do this often, went from 16 to just 6
typically I'd see the 1 or 3 stone rewards and pass them up but now that I've completed all end game content and major sources of stones including regular story events and such, I regret being lazy
if for whatever reason you dont summon on anyone besides beast gohan you can still get basically the best team in the game with the 3 U7 EZAs (mui goku, vegeta, phy evoken) assuming you have them

This scene is actually perfect for Target skill but they already used it on INT Broly and I don't see them changing it that radically when they EZA him
They ignored Namek for the game's first 3 years save 1 (ONE) DFE for I guess muh hype for lack of a better explanation.
3rd anni and Worldwide 2018 had some Namek theming, yet the headlining units didn't reflect this for some weird reason.
Then they went and did comprehensive runthroughs for the Cell Boo, and ToP arcs in 2019 and 2020 respectively, settling for a single Namek DFE and LR to prelude Cell.
They sabotaged Worldwide 2021 with garbage sales and the super class banner units.
Ginyu turned out fine and I think his sales did too, yet we still got nothing from then to now, not even throughout all of last year's niche releases.
Someone over at Akatsuki must just hate Namek.
namek animations are peak but no one is rolling on dfe bowlcut gohan. besides final form frieza, i could see a gacha ginyu force selling, maybe transforming zarbon, but that's about it.

They can't change active transformation conditions but they can change auto transformation conditions. They just decided not to with them. Agl blue vegeta got his eza less than a month later and they changed his conditions.
Agl blue vegeta was also better than both the 3rd and 4th anni units and global got him months before the 7th anni. Imagine if str kefla was better than every eza of the anniversary... I'm glad this isn't the case

I somewhat agree. Equips should've been the way to go. Dragonball Legends may get clowned on occasionally, but one very smart thing they did is how they go about re-buffing units with equipments. At rainbow, with no links active, on a 200% team his defense will be 168k with 10% DR if you only run him as a low class warrior.
With each stack, he gains 84k defense. If you don't run him with another low class warrior, he'll only super once per turn on average.
If he super attacks once per turn for 2 turns, and he somehow doesn't get turned to paste by normals from newer bosses, he's at 337k defense...
You need to transform him by turn 5, since sub-500k defense with 10% DR is worthless when you're past the first phase in newer hard fights.
He'll be at 378k defense with 36% DR once transformed with 2 stacks with 50% chance to dodge for 5 turns, or 3 appearances.
He'll super an average of twice per turn, but doesn't stack anymore, so with 2 supers in a turn he'll be at 567k def. He can "tank" 1 million normals, which are the norm now, for around 80-90k at that point. If you get unlucky and he doesn't double super in a turn, he'll take close to 200k per normal. Obviously, he gets deleted by normals that hit for 1.2+ from the top tier bosses, so he needs to dodge those.

The editor forced him to make changes but it was ultimately Toriyama who wrote everything. He also designed all the Z movie villains, and was heavily involved in broly and super hero. When he's hands off, you end up with the shitper manga and anime. When he's not involved at all, you end up with GT and heroes. There's too much money at stake to not continue the series, but without Toriyama it's going to get worse.

The main deciding factor was kid goku, he looks so stupid and is the worst part of GT. That being said I didn't get a single copy of the Z-bros.
The Z duo can still save you in a pinch because their standby skill can hit super hard, but their base form is definitely aging badly.

Anni. Even if golden week is peak they come back for WWC. The only other consideration is Tanabata, which will be early this year for the sync, and the unit doesn't come back until next March.

Those two always give out strong units that usually become meta. Saiyan Day is okay but most of the time they get outclassed easily due to power creep, not their fault.
So yeah, May and July are when you should spend your stones. Ignore any other banner unless you have free stones to waste or there’s someone you really like
Going for Golden Week is a terrible idea unless we share the same banner with JP (Hirudegarn and DF Goku) you should consider Tanabata too because it will come sooner to Global because of the merge and the unit won't come back until next Saiyan Day, Tanabata will be pretty much our new WWC schedule frickery

Frick no, Trunks is the worst offender. The SSBs are a surprisingly good tank in slot 1 during their intro and VB has 50% DR until he gets 7 digit defense.

Extreme does not get enough support across the year. The extreme units we get are weaker than their super counterparts and usually have a shit tonne of restrictions. More importantly by the time whatever niche team they are on get supports the unit has already been powercrept. STR Kid Buu embodies this perfectly, he was a great unit but since he's extreme he got nothing for his team and is now unrunnable. Domain stacking is obvious. The now Rose is dogshit because you cannot use it with Zimzam's infinite domain. You cannot lock a unit's power behind a mechanic like that and expect them to be good.

I would love for them to make a character that covers a saga with transformations and maybe exchanging. Something like Gotenks -> Gohan -> Goku & Vegeta -> Vegito -> SS3 Goku & Vegeta.
But for the exchange part, maybe this can be a new mechanic that lets you exchange an Ultimate Gohan on your rotation to a Goku & Vegeta/Vegito that's not actually on your team, but one in your roster that you would link on the team formation screen or something.

he needed a trunks on the team for his extra damage reduction and by the time they started buffing and releasing trunks units he was already powercrept and there are some categories he is on where trunks isn't, his damage also wasn't great compared to other dokkanfests released around the same time. plus he was ki hungry and only ki changed if he was below 88% and there are so many times, at least for me, I can't get the 6 ki or even enough to super because his best ki link, over in a flash, isn't shared by a lot of other vegetas or trunks

Imagine if you can add DR or dodge to a units passive to circumvent the domain powercreep, it should give more life to the units without having to wait for the EZA/SEZA

He gets more defense if he's above ~75% HP in base compared to transformed. At full hp, and fully built up, his def multiplier is 3.3x when getting hit. When he goes SS, it's only 2.8x, but he gets a bit more start of turn def and higher multipliers when super attacking (50% instead of 20%). So at full hp, he'll be a bit better in slot 1 in base than transformed. For example, at 55%, after 5 stacks, he'll be at 820k defense in base at full hp when taking a hit, but at 779k def slot 1 when going SS. However, his defense after super attacking will be 984k in base (assuming he gets two stacks) and 1.17m (with 2 guaranteed supers in slot 1 if he gets hit first) in SS.

the running ideas are teq lr broly or ss2 angel goku and ss2 vegeta. they're the oldest units who have not yet EZA'd.
he already has crit in his passive and his super attack effects don't give him any additional defense or anything. with his whole passive active he's got a really solid 1.3 million defense at rainbow but dodge helps maximize his odds of not getting smoked by a boss super

There is only 1 change I would make to Vegito and Buuhan EZAs and that would be:
Vegito: Make his USA have Greatly raises ATK&DEF for 3 turns Giving his counters a massive boost making him a power house with damage comparable to Broly.
Buuhan: Give him 50% ATK when performing an USA and that is it. This will help his additional supers a shit ton while giving his USA massive attack stat.
This is all I would do, as this would then make them feel 100% comparable to the 6th anni LRs.

If it's as slow as regular EZAs then the units fortunate enough to wait half a year could be leagues better than this SS3 Goku is just based on how absurd they shift the meta in that time

i have been trying to beat gogeta on a private server using vegetas team and i genuinely havent been able to
most of the time something goes wrong and gogeta just decides he wants to super the slot 3 unit, sometimes i get both vegetas in the same turn and this is really shitty because floating vegeta means missing a guaranteed super
sometimes he gets sealed because frick me
he is very good i dunno why am i having such bad luck its like the game is telling me not to summon for him

I'd reccomend replacing Trunks with King Vegeta but it's still surprising with a team like that, that you're having problems beating events
they are just too strong and the private server makes them all full crit so a 5 phase fight becames a 5-7 turn batlle which is awful for vegeta
gonna try a team with less hard hitting units
You're supposed to get low ki with ssbe and vegito, ideally get ssbe sealed in slot 1. I had no problems with that exact team.

Using the skill orbs to round up links from 8 to 9 and go in with a full lvl9 team saves a ton of orbs and time but they still don't give enough skill orbs or keys to do this often, went from 16 to just 6

I've been so bored on dokkan and itching for something to do lately that I've actually started farming f2p characters. What has happened to me.

typically I'd see the 1 or 3 stone rewards and pass them up but now that I've completed all end game content and major sources of stones including regular story events and such, I regret being lazy

if for whatever reason you dont summon on anyone besides beast gohan you can still get basically the best team in the game with the 3 U7 EZAs (mui goku, vegeta, phy evoken) assuming you have them

And anniversary should give about 1000 stones as well.
With tickets and discounts you can summon on it safely, but yeah. You should hold back as much as possible since, as per usual, the units will be stale by the time we get them and there's the sync coming up.
That's why I'm only going lightly on Broly and a bit harder on Beast and skipping the Carnivals unless I get insanely lucky.

10th anni will be Namek Saga and EZA INT SSJ Goku, AGL Frieza, the STR Nameku sub EZAs and SEXZA PHY FP Frieza.
They ignored Namek for the game's first 3 years save 1 (ONE) DFE for I guess muh hype for lack of a better explanation.
3rd anni and Worldwide 2018 had some Namek theming, yet the headlining units didn't reflect this for some weird reason.
Then they went and did comprehensive runthroughs for the Cell Boo, and ToP arcs in 2019 and 2020 respectively, settling for a single Namek DFE and LR to prelude Cell.
They sabotaged Worldwide 2021 with garbage sales and the super class banner units.
Ginyu turned out fine and I think his sales did too, yet we still got nothing from then to now, not even throughout all of last year's niche releases.
Someone over at Akatsuki must just hate Namek.

namek animations are peak but no one is rolling on dfe bowlcut gohan. besides final form frieza, i could see a gacha ginyu force selling, maybe transforming zarbon, but that's about it.
That sentiment made more sense 5 years ago before they released things like a dokkanfest Videl or LR Ribrianne, but we're approaching year 10 of a gacha game and there are only so many elite characters and forms to redo for the umpteenth time so why not release a busted bowl cut gohan or a krillin as long as they're good

They can't change active transformation conditions but they can change auto transformation conditions. They just decided not to with them. Agl blue vegeta got his eza less than a month later and they changed his conditions.
Agl blue vegeta was also better than both the 3rd and 4th anni units and global got him months before the 7th anni. Imagine if str kefla was better than every eza of the anniversary... I'm glad this isn't the case

can they? or are they only able to change the part where he had a chance to transform? It was still turn 4 but just got a 10% extra chance to transform. And the only other one I can think of was the str Android 21 who got the same thing, changing the percentage chance to transform but the turn was the same. Can't think of any others that were changed besides those two.

agl gogeta was changed from turn 5 to turn 4. they can change automatic conditions.

If it has to exist, it should be black hair with no change in eyebrows. The "form" is really a technique he's learning. Funnily enough this also implies that Beerus' eyebrows changed because he's a god of destruction.

Toppo also changed form so it can't look like nothing. Vegeta simply skipped the sign version and went right to true form. Maybe it loses eyebrows in connection to oozaru just like SS3. Super saiyan, oozaru and divine power are all connected in some way that they haven't explored.
