Just about every anni unit gets crept before WWC, so it boils down to summoning what you want, or summoning to beat content/missions when you want to beat them but can't.
I would argue the only time you're "forced" to summon is if you can't even clear monthly events like battlefield or burst mode. But even that bogan pinoy does it with f2p cards.

Thanks. I ended up using the exact same team. I just didn’t think you could get away with taking damage with same type orbs. Turns out that bit of damage transformed both int cells and the Gohan and trunks have natural guard. Got really lucky, it took me like 5 tries to get 6k with the same team.

these are definitely worth it if you have that many red coins. me myself i usually always summon on big time banners like anni and WWC so i usually always have the dokkanfests that last the longest in the meta anyways like new years and golden week. using 150 red coins for this guy is more worth it than coining some othe recent mid dokkanfest that you might have missed out on such as super trunks, int androids, kale, etc

you can get everything from the 9th anni on the 10th anni, the 10th anni is 6 months after the 9th anni but the 11th anni is a whole year after.
this is not a "oh so why save for 10th anni if 11th anni is obviously gonna have better units" case, its just reasonable to save for the first synced anni which also happens to be the 10TH one
you can save stones after 9th anni yes, but despite the conspiranoic people on this thread the reality is that you statiscally have a bigger chance to get what you want if you have more stones, so assuming the 10th anni is a big step up on powercreep it makes sense metagays would want to save a lot

Legends recently released a full blown f2p unit with the assets you'd see on a gacha unit.
Dokkan on the other hand just released an event where they couldn't be assed to update the EZA area stages to the modern format AND introduced a glitch that refreshed all the stages resulting in an extra 30ish stones for the playerbase.
Point I'm making is Dokkan has ceased giving a frick to such a degree they're not even properly scrooging the playerbase out of free stones whereas it's business as usual for Legends. It is beyond clear Dokkan is winding down now. Tenth anni very possibly might be its last.

It's not about powercreep, it's about dev intent. Legends devs are behaving like situation normal and they have intentions on sticking around for at least another few years as they are still delegating the same resources on "free" elements of the app as they always have.
Dokkan on the other hand is massively winding back on free assets which demonstrates a clear decision to cut costs.
I would also posit that the 9th anni was one gigantic red flag about dokkan's lifespan as well.
Gacha games always perform a balancing act between using hype ideas and characters to get money while keeping enough hype in the shed to release later on. Dokkan pushing out both gogeta/broly and beast/gammas in the same celebration when both are far and away capable of headlining on their own could very easily mean the devs can see the downward trend of the app and are switching to the "mine every last drop of money now while the money is there to be mined" business model that ventures start doing when they can see the end of the tunnel and are making their exit plans.
They didn't have a choice on Beast, everyone was pissed over how long it took for a proper one.
And Broly and Gogeta are a rerun of a previous celebration they did years ago. They don't even start in their transformed versions which very obnoxiously causes a name conflict with the originals.

Hit also gets along well with LR Hit&Godku and Kefla so I think it's fair to say STR banner is by far the highest value

idk why you're messing around with target goku. cell saga has eza int 16 to hold down one rotation, agl super vegeta + appleku on the other to tank and heal instantly. you can even skip int cell, take the int debuff, and pick a smaller attack buff with the extra points.

ginyu force is fun to use and they are really good, but you need toppo, plus ribrianne, plus LR gammas, plus some of these recetn sub ezas. its just a lot of work to make them work, so if youre a free to play player ginyu is absolutely not worth it since hes stuck on special pose

How do you guys sort your cards? I sort by general viability then a Hidden Potential box but I feel like I could sort it in a better way.
i sort by clicking type first then rarity, so all of my LRs are together and follow type order. i absolutely hate how some people just do it by type like i feel it would get so annoying scrolling through all of your phy turs to get to your str Lrs etc

so all my locked units are together and the trash is at the bottom. My lrs and dokkanfest are mostly at the start of each type
In general? By attack.
Eventually you get to have so many cards that you just start using the settings when sorting like EXT/SUP or by Type and of course by categories. Sorting by attack helped put my “strongest” cards at the top but eventually you get cards with abysmal attack stats but are actually very good. Every damn Vegeta unit that isn’t a LR or EZA’d has a ATK stat that’s like maybe 12k. Which most F2P units have.

I think they aren't moving fast enough. SEZAs should have been a thing already 2 or 3 years ago. Ideally, we should be close to SEZAing units that EZA'd back then but we're just barely starting to crack into 2021. This is because they chose to make so many moronic decisions like shitting out group stages for banner units that should be subs. Shit like that made the overall progress slow to a crawl.

What's different about these banners, along with some others like Heroes, is that the odds are tilted towards the featured SSRs by offering a 70/30 split instead of the usual.
No one mentioned that ginyu having 5 different supers means they can do the same for future LRs.
