They actually fixed the biggest problems with last year's releases and most of the new animations are decent, so yes.
My only gripes are Vegetto's animations being barely tweaked versions of the old one, the leader skills still being redundant, and Vegeta Blue just being total ass.
Rose lands on 500k at free dupe with his full passive pre-transformation. Vegetto lands at about 450k under the same conditions with all his defense links.
Combined with guard/high DR, they seem extremely competent. Rose can even be run freely on all his teams since his transformation has no restrictions.

AGL Blue boys feel awful until they get to Vegetto, who is a legitimately amazing unit. AGL SSJs just... never get there. I have the former at 55 and the latter rainbowed and I'd still rather run Vegetto.
Vegito is better for sure but I would say he was more disapointing because he was a lot more hyped
Expectations were far higher, yeah. It also sucks that he's kind of designed for content that doesn't really exist in the game rn, something that's 12-14 turns or so. That way his defensive abilities as Vegetto shine more.

It really doesn't. You could give an entire team 700+900 hp equips and you will only get 56k extra hp if everyone is on the 200%. Meanwhile if you give a 55% vegito a 700 defense equip he will have 19,320 extra defense before super and 48,300 extra defense after supering, when linked with SS4 vegito. Thats about the equivalent of having an extra link that adds 9% defense.

There's just no fricking point in the first 20 or so stages. You can beat them with whatever-fricking-team-you-want 99% of the time. It's only the last 10 levels where you have to actually (sometimes) use the proper units.

This vid had too much spin like the 55% int Goku. SS4 Vegetto ate almost the entire hp bar in damage, and yet Vegeta gets the Raditz theme for taking 200k from a 950k super. And then the rest isn't even on a Heroes team.
Don't get me wrong, he's still relatively ass with no built in additionals, but ~460k to 700k+ defense is respectable at least to the point of being uppercase.
