All the new events one-shot him with supers, two-shot him with normals, before transforming is an option. He's not viable because even if you use items, you'll have to spend them specifically to save him from immediate death (and that still might not be enough) and you can't save them for crucial moments.

Not him, but what do you mean? It's a multiplicative buff that takes the def stacks in consideration, not just the start of turn defense. So yes, it does add to the stacks. All defense links are calculated by multiplying the defense you see on screen when you go to the defense menu.

Some guy not long ago thought stacking was multiplicative aka if you have 300k def and stack 33% (100k defense) next turn you have 400k defense so with 33% stack you then will stack 133k which is wrong you will always stack the same amount no matter the links or anything else

Nta but the way you're saying it implies links ignore stacks and only apply to the original sot defense so a unit with 300k sot would only get 75k defense from bbb regardless of how many stacks but it doesn't work like that. Stacking is an extra modifier and it is affected by links and support, it isn't literally adding X amount of defense each time you stack its just increasing the modifier. This is one of the reasons teq gohan is so busted, cause he gets up to like 70% defense in links to compliment his stacking, along with the guard of course.
stacking is static no matter what, yes links will affect it and i didnt mean that bbb will only add 75k, its a 25% extra multiplier

It's always been normal for year old units to struggle. Piccolo is actually one of the best tanks and units for these short explosive fights.

Does anybody really, genuinely find any of this modern shit fun? The closest we've gotten was that Vegito Blue stage where you have to lower his attack, but everything else is just the same shit.

the game is too simple to have any sort of complexity, difficulty is just cranking up numbers because it's the only thing you can do
other rpg gacha have stuff like different elemental dmg with different effects, shields, buffs, debuffs, damage over time and other mechanics that allow more gimmicks in fights than just boss damage goes brrrr
I think the main cause of this is the source material, which lacks any of these things and akatsuki doesn't have the balls to add them
youre probably right, and the devs would have to overhaul a lot of the gameplay to add more kinds of difficulty, but honestly i feel as if just different boss variety could make up for it. an infinite zamasu stage that you simply have to survive for a couple turns would be interesting, or a boss that does less damage than these newer redzones, but can super 3-4 times a turn. idk i think the format of these new stages makes the powercreep seem boring, as the last 4 red zone stages have just been 2 stages with nothing really separating them. at least events like broly disabled dodge or something

It's crazy that Gohan stacks as fast as INT Goku black, but has guard. Imagine getting mogged by a 3 year old unit as a brand new DFE EZA. Sure, he's a bit weaker now because of event hitting so hard from the jump, even with guard he's taking 200k per normal in starting phases from new red zones, but with a Whis he's tanking everything and by the time the Whis runs out he'll be at 300k+ defense with guard, which is enough to tank every normal in the game for the most part.
I'm convinced he was originally meant to be an automatic transforming unit and they just never changed his kit, its the only thing that makes sense for how broken his base form is

Terrible bad. Literally makes PHY Super Vegito look good. As good as AGL Zamasu is, INT black is that bad. He will probably be "fine" in like Legendary Fighter: Gohan or whatever comes out to fill that niche, but that's it
If you can hide him until late turns he gets up to the millions in both stats, 50% chance to crit so that's nice. The trouble is that turn 1 he will have like 150k defense at rainbow so you legitimately will have to cover him up with items and support and good RNG for a while so it's kinda like what's the point?

They were good but they came out one power creep ago so now they're shaky. They are also pure stats so they need dupes to be "good". They can hold their own if they get hit 4 times gentaly and can keep their 18 ki buff going which lets them do their best thing: Activate links for Fusion Zamasu. If you are doing a multi-stage fight though and they miss a Super or you advance it before they can get hit with the easy stuff then they become a huge weakspot

Cleared the Zimzam red zone first try and even knocked out the time travelers mission along the way. He actually had me dead to rights with me going into a turn with only 8,000 health left. Then the GOD AMONG GODS Cell transformation happened and won me the run. I don't give a frick what anyone says, Cell is godly after his EZA.and wins runs.

Other than that I ran my own at 55%, VT, INT Mai, eza STR Trunks, LR TEQ Vegito, INT Future Gohan. If you don't have LR Future Gohan you can just use AGL Trunks and Mai and use VT as your leader

Personally, as an oldgay, the syncing news was an absolute death knell for any interest I had in the game. The gameplay is not engaging enough for new units to actually be "fun", and losing the ability to save for what I want in a game with no pity is a joke.

30 crit and 6 additional. His giant form is the entire point of the character, you want him crit'ng as much as possible.
Around 20 crit and additional. Giant form has a built in additional that you want to trigger another, which also gives more chances to crit. You also get another great defense raise in normal form.
So strange to me that the hardest content in the game gives shart rewards, while benine things like Boss Rush and IDBH yield dozens of stones per stage.

You are feeding orbs, training, raising SA and rainbowing units for at least 7 years solely so they can go and get top ranking for another man. All the hard work you put into your beautiful little units - clearing story events with them, making them clear dokkan events, making sure they have a healthy supply of orbs, EZAing them, playing with them. All of it has one simple result: they are more enjoyable for the men that will eventually frick your 1% ranking in every way.
Raised the perfect supports? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random man who had nothing to do with the supports, who top ranks with them. He gets to use them every night at reset. He gets the benefits of their sweet chain power that came from the way you raised them.
As a man who has good chain battle supports, you are LITERALLY dedicating at least 6 years of your life simply to raise units for another man to enjoy. It is the ULTIMATE AND FINAL cuck. Think about it logically

Yeah why not. There is nothing until the end of the year except pedroes, SS4 Goku, Christmas celebration and Step ups. Pedroes has a real high chance of being shit, especially after how all the predoes units from last year didn't even last a month before getting power crept. SS4 Goku is good, but comes back 3-4 months later in saiyan day to buy with coins on a better banner. Step up is a trap banner if you have been playing the game for a while, but is good if you're new. However, they may do something unique with this year's step up due to the version catching up soon, it wouldn't surprise me if they put DFEs not in global yet, like Super Trunks and Turles, on this year's step up which is something Bandai did with Wan Piss treasure cruise when they caught global up to JP. Christmas will probably have good units too, but you'll get a bunch of stones in the Christmas celebration to pull for them.
I'm only interested in SS4 Goku and maybe Pedroes.
His banner is kinda shit, but he's a really good unit. I wouldn't recommend going too crazy on it if you have a lot of red coins since last year's tanabata unit, Vegeta and Trunks, came back on global to buy with coins 3 and a half months later.

LR SS4 will return in March if you don't want to summon for him. He's pretty good and he'll return after anniversary so you'll get to see whether he's survived that powercreep. WT goku has probably the best leaderskill in the game and arigably the highest peak. I'd say he's worth coining but it's up to you. Beasthan sucks because he has ki issues and a kit dependant on getting ki and I wouldn't coin him, that being said he's been very good for the future redzone.
Apart from that there's godku whose worth the coins but we might not even see him this year and then the rest of the dfes, even the ones we don't have on JP, aren't worth summoning for nevermind coining

Not how it works. F2p units can get through with items. Being in the same bucket as some unit people only awakened for summon tickets and then shelved is not "great". He's just fine. LR Rose's EZA is not that bad. He's essentially LR Baby 2.0, but without the cancer pure/hybrid saiyans restriction. People forget that yellow coin LR EZAs are almost always mid. He's definitely not as bad as Kale and Caulifla who are unusable.
