From what I heard they reused the summoning animation where I guess Bardock sometimes jumps in. Personally, I think that's kind of cool, like when Super reused the Goku fighting Jiren animation from the opening but changed it for their current forms.

There's no way they will release another God Shitku and Blue Shitku as the main units. The anniversary will obviously be movie themed, but will use relevant characters as the headliners like Gogeta or Beast.
So, since the new mechanic leaked (it focuses all attacks into one unit), I think I know what the anniversary units are gonna be like
Beast Gohan > Standby into Orange Piccolo > Special Beam Cannon
Blue Goku and Vegeta > Standby into Frieza (or Whis) > Transform into Gogeta Blue

some caveats: You add 1 to anything that says "+" (e.g. ATK +100% means x2).
Buildup that happens mid-turn is applied after the attack and carries over to SoT unless it says "when attacking" or something to that effect.
"As X attacker" always gets calculated SoT, but older units only get the buff itself after attacking.
Almost all support is start of turn. The only exceptions are active skills, BoG Vegeta, and teq TUR Kid Goku iirc.

They all have the same exact passive but adjusted for type and class. They have different supers, only notable ones are Pan's support and Cabba and Gohan's 9 turn stack.

It'd be worse than that. The only reason a gacha company would ever directly address, apologize and promise a replacement over a botched launch like Ultimate Gohan is if it's costing them a HUMONGOUS amount of money. It basically killed the Super Hero celebration in terms of revenue for Akatsuki, so badly they had to promise a new Beast was coming before 10th anni and he was able to reuse animations that were already part of Ult Gohan's card.
If they repeated that blunder it would be nothing short of a disaster.

he'll get the teq vegito blue/lr kale&caulifla treatment where they know those units were broken when they first dropped so they'll make the smallest changes to the eza to not make him broken again but it'll be too little and he'll have 6 months of use before he's powercrept

How do Super Attack passives like LR TEQ 1st Cell work with additional attacks? Does it just increase the multiplier for that turn, not stack, make the base amount last multiple turns, etc.?

Anon it's not that hard to figure out overlaps aside from identical leads. Like, a lot of characters will be under goku family and kamehameha, so agl gohan + ss4ku. Etc
just make sure two of them support the specific typing if you can't find a leader that supports the majority of your units
for example just run a unit that is 120% str for your str team if nothing else
but most of the super teams have good leaders
like agl has kamehameha with agl gohan and goku family with ssj4 gku, int has bond of parent and child with v&t and pure/hybrid saiyans with lr godku, phy has pure/hybrid phy godku and pure saiyans with the new eza transforming vegeta, etc

Unless you're a really new player you shouldn't need to use mono teams, and you can absolutely destroy the stage 3 bosses with 2x 130% leads. you should at least have a bunch of 170% leads with 130% subleads for the same category.

Wrong. 8th anni had only one theme, which is Spirit Bomb/Genki Dama. Kaiku and Kid Gohan were the part 2 LR because the lyrics of both Z and Kai have "Genki Dama" in them (and obviously because two Gokus for part 2 was a poor choice), hence the Spirit Bomb active and the unit SA with Goku performing a Spirit Bomb.

No, last time we got this format the Extreme DFE was in Part 1, Cooler, and the Super Saiyans were the Super DFE in Part 2. It's going to be a Super DFE, which most likely will be Beast Gohan. There's also a shot at UI Goku but I find it very unlikely considering BOTH UI LR Gokus are EZAing this celebration and he'd probably be stuck sharing a name with one of them.
Not entirely impossible, but that would ALSO throw off the balance of Super and Extreme headliners. That makes me think it's definitely less likely than a Beast/Cell Max part 2.

They always say some shit like "this is a character still in development" until they actually release the units. With Chain Battle going away I feel bad for all the unironic cucks out there. It must have really been exciting for them to heavily invest in units they couldn't use but other men got plenty of enjoyment out of.
I cannot think or comprehend of anything more cucked than having a good chain battle support. Honestly, think about it rationally. You are feeding orbs, training, raising SA and rainbowing units for at least 7 years solely so they can go and get top ranking for another man. All the hard work you put into your beautiful little units - clearing story events with them, making them clear dokkan events, making sure they have a healthy supply of orbs, EZAing them, playing with them. All of it has one simple result: they are more enjoyable for the men that will eventually frick your 1% ranking in every way.
Raised the perfect supports? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random man who had nothing to do with the supports, who top ranks with them. He gets to use them every night at reset. He gets the benefits of their sweet chain power that came from the way you raised them.

vegito has value even if their duo phase goes wrong, and if it goes right he cooks.
I can't judge duped, but my and probably a lot of people's problem is specifically tied to their low ball. I don't think there's been such weak major units since 5th anni or WWC 2020.

Since Heroes and the type banners share the same coins, it's not a stretch to think people have a few hundred stashed away, and type banners always come back during anni. I doubt they'll ever be added to the general pool since even the oldest Heroes units are still exclusive.

With the new Power Level reward of lowering stamina refresh up to 1 minute (5 mins to 4 mins) the more Power Level you have, they just started the 3 min stamina for the lead up to the anni and you can get 2 min stamina refresh

Many of the problems Zamasu identified are still present. The ineffectual nature of the kais. Mortals surpassing gods and using their vast power, unbound by the laws that may chain a hakaishin. Their reliance on divine instruments for survival. The Dragonballs...the potara...even the old kai's powerups. Nowhere does Zamasu's warnings on the follies of Ningen ring louder than Cell Max.

Now that's not bad, but some normals are hitting for a 800k-900k nowadays like fusion zamasu or goku black/zamasu red zones, so running him in slot 1 is not always bulletproof. He needs AGL UI's EZA to be the best slot 1 unit in the game to truly shine.

No, that also depends on your raw defense and the enemy's typing/stats. Guard and DR units without high enough defense can die to normals and even ones considered really good can die to supers from the toughest enemies outside their best case scenario. In these situations, dodge units actually tend to be better, provided they meet the threshold of tanking normals.

In an average red zone fight, a dodge unit will take 3-5 out of 10 hits while a guard/DR unit will take 10 out of 10 hits. Back when normals hit too hard for most units to tank, guard/DR units had a massive advantage, but that is no longer the case. Now normals are mostly harmless and DR alone just doesn't cut it against the average 1.6 million+ super.
Again, I don't have anything against your gripe with dodge units, but that in itself doesn't make a unit mid.

I have bulma and phy path the power goku who hit for crazy numbers too so I don't think it was just me still even at 9-10 that's 2-3 turns over 7 turns that he would be very vulnerable and in my experience its 4-5. A good example would be int yamcha versus teq wt goku. Yamcha is mid because he relies on dodge and the second he doesn't your run is over. Wtku is pure tanking and countering which will always be superior.

some caveats: You add 1 to anything that says "+" (e.g. ATK +100% means x2).
Buildup that happens mid-turn is applied after the attack and carries over to SoT unless it says "when attacking" or something to that effect.
"As X attacker" always gets calculated SoT, but older units only get the buff itself after attacking.
Almost all support is start of turn. The only exceptions are active skills, BoG Vegeta, and teq TUR Kid Goku iirc.

The only reason a gacha company would ever directly address, apologize and promise a replacement over a botched launch like Ultimate Gohan is if it's costing them a HUMONGOUS amount of money. It basically killed the Super Hero celebration in terms of revenue for Akatsuki, so badly they had to promise a new Beast was coming before 10th anni and he was able to reuse animations that were already part of Ult Gohan's card.

My SS/AGL Gohan team got killed by DKP on stage 3 and the backup P2W Ginyu team took a 700k super on the first hit.

Anon it's not that hard to figure out overlaps aside from identical leads. Like, a lot of characters will be under goku family and kamehameha, so agl gohan + ss4ku. Etc
just make sure two of them support the specific typing if you can't find a leader that supports the majority of your units
for example just run a unit that is 120% str for your str team if nothing else
but most of the super teams have good leaders
like agl has kamehameha with agl gohan and goku family with ssj4 gku, int has bond of parent and child with v&t and pure/hybrid saiyans with lr godku, phy has pure/hybrid phy godku and pure saiyans with the new eza transforming vegeta, etc

VT isn't under godku's leader skill. Second lead could be MV, GTgeta, int futurehan, int kidhan
Take 11 of your strongest teams without overlapping units and throw them in there.
Unless you're a really new player you shouldn't need to use mono teams, and you can absolutely destroy the stage 3 bosses with 2x 130% leads. you should at least have a bunch of 170% leads with 130% subleads for the same category.

Kaiku and Kid Gohan were the part 2 LR because the lyrics of both Z and Kai have "Genki Dama" in them (and obviously because two Gokus for part 2 was a poor choice), hence the Spirit Bomb active and the unit SA with Goku performing a Spirit Bomb.

There's also a shot at UI Goku but I find it very unlikely considering BOTH UI LR Gokus are EZAing this celebration and he'd probably be stuck sharing a name with one of them.

You are feeding orbs, training, raising SA and rainbowing units for at least 7 years solely so they can go and get top ranking for another man. All the hard work you put into your beautiful little units - clearing story events with them, making them clear dokkan events, making sure they have a healthy supply of orbs, EZAing them, playing with them. All of it has one simple result: they are more enjoyable for the men that will eventually frick your 1% ranking in every way.
Raised the perfect supports? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random man who had nothing to do with the supports, who top ranks with them. He gets to use them every night at reset. He gets the benefits of their sweet chain power that came from the way you raised them.

Since Heroes and the type banners share the same coins, it's not a stretch to think people have a few hundred stashed away, and type banners always come back during anni. I doubt they'll ever be added to the general pool since even the oldest Heroes units are still exclusive.

With the new Power Level reward of lowering stamina refresh up to 1 minute (5 mins to 4 mins) the more Power Level you have, they just started the 3 min stamina for the lead up to the anni and you can get 2 min stamina refresh

Many of the problems Zamasu identified are still present. The ineffectual nature of the kais. Mortals surpassing gods and using their vast power, unbound by the laws that may chain a hakaishin. Their reliance on divine instruments for survival. The Dragonballs...the potara...even the old kai's powerups. Nowhere does Zamasu's warnings on the follies of Ningen ring louder than Cell Max.

You'd think that'd be good, but then you remember there's almost no good U7 units out right now. He's also at around 500k defense fully built up with all links active, and 750k after super attacking. Now that's not bad, but some normals are hitting for a 800k-900k nowadays like fusion zamasu or goku black/zamasu red zones, so running him in slot 1 is not always bulletproof. He needs AGL UI's EZA to be the best slot 1 unit in the game to truly shine.

Just pop an item unlike dodging a unit that straight tanks will be able to tank his normals and supers which a dodge unit won't do if they don't dodge.

You're basing you living on chance, your chance to die with a dodge unit is much higher than a guard or dr unit every turn. You're also more likely to survive hard hits with guard units that dodge units can't survive if they don't dodge.

No, that also depends on your raw defense and the enemy's typing/stats. Guard and DR units without high enough defense can die to normals and even ones considered really good can die to supers from the toughest enemies outside their best case scenario. In these situations, dodge units actually tend to be better, provided they meet the threshold of tanking normals.

In an average red zone fight, a dodge unit will take 3-5 out of 10 hits while a guard/DR unit will take 10 out of 10 hits. Back when normals hit too hard for most units to tank, guard/DR units had a massive advantage, but that is no longer the case. Now normals are mostly harmless and DR alone just doesn't cut it against the average 1.6 million+ super.
Again, I don't have anything against your gripe with dodge units, but that in itself doesn't make a unit mid.

Really? I used SS3 Goku's team and crits made it go for maybe 9-10 turns. Omega is the only consistently long event in my experience, but if we get more like that down the line and UI consistently drops to 50% dodge, I'd be willing to concede he's mid.

I hit 11-12 consistently but most of my characters are built for aa instead of crit except for wtku. I have bulma and phy path the power goku who hit for crazy numbers too so I don't think it was just me still even at 9-10 that's 2-3 turns over 7 turns that he would be very vulnerable and in my experience its 4-5. Would you really want to be that vulnerable for 2-5 turns?
Half my units had passive crit, but I couldn't say whether or not that's common as I've only run the stage with that 1 team, so I guess I'll take your word.

A good example would be int yamcha versus teq wt goku. Yamcha is mid because he relies on dodge and the second he doesn't your run is over. Wtku is pure tanking and countering which will always be superior.
when the powercreep comes in wt goku is going to fall off a cliff and yamcha will age better. wt goku already gets fried against fusion zamasu meanwhile yamcha can at least live if you're not a lucklet
