I think the dumbest part was when you think about the dragonballs themselves in the Buu saga. With the Saiyans they grant a single, non-reusable wish, they're a goal more than anything and there's a little bit of tension of "We have to use it to bring Goku back that's our literal only option."
Namek has that awesome play where they use the slightly different rules between the two sets to play this plan out. Thought was put into it and there were stakes.
With Cell they weren't used all that much, fair enough.
Then with Buu, there's a part where Piccolo flat out tells Buu to go murder everyone on the planet to kill some time because who cares? Dragonballs just remove all tension from the story. They're treated as a predetermined solution to all problems rather than a last resort or a goal. And the worst part? As far as I'm aware, GT is the only part that even deals with that issue. It is pretty obvious that we will see goku baby top tier animations for WWC

Extreme RoG got massive buffs and Super RoG has the Power Beyond Super Saiyan category to put the SSG/SSBs in but both are still in need of proper 200% leaders

Those are manga SSB colors and aura in Broly movie. Controlled/Perfect SSB with darker hair is the default state now and SSBE doesn't exist there. Back then, the plan was to override all the anime exclusive BS and cement the manga as canon for when the show returned but the world shut down and threw a wrench into things. Holy shit, why are Extreme Z Areas a thing? Like what is the purpose of forcing me to use garbage-tier units in a piss-easy event 13+ times, just so I can get the rest of my summon tickets? I'm literally never going to use the three units on any team, they're already like two years behind the power curve. Holy shit, what an awful addition to the game.

If they didn't invent the EZArea formula, you would just complain that there are too many F2P EZBs that give less rewards and require obscure categories to beat. People still complain when there are EZAs for batches of characters and they "only" get 30 stones for it. EZAreas add up, some of them have over 20 stages at this point. Doing all those easy missions is netting you a frick ton of stones over time but you crave instant gratification and need to soomon right now.
At least the EZBs would reward you with stones for your trouble, instead of giving you 1-2 per whole 7-step EZA. It would be infinitely less annoying if I didn't have to use the units I only keep around to Baba their dupes, but no, it wouldn't be fun if I wasn't playing with the slime from under the bottom of the barrel.
The mass EZBs only have 7 units max, which is still 10+ stones less they'd have as EZ Area stages, and the only one with that many stages is the Hero Extermination one, which could've easily been 2 or 3 EZBs instead. The only potential justification for any EZ Area would be to not have an EZB like Kid Gohan's, but 4th anni gave the regular 33 stones for each of the 2 f2p EZBs and got replaced with EZ Areas 6 months later.

Why can't the Married couples and the GT Kids at least apply a double support like Vados/Marcarita/Trunks&Giru?

Maybe if you aren't doing them all back-to-back. I'm just annoyed I have to do so many runs of the same braindead easy event. This is the fricking worst, not because it's bad, but because its the most boring content ever, and all this time is being wasted on 3 units outclassed by older f2p units already when they could have just made it a generic 7 step EZA, so people just playing the content could get it, but they went out of their way to make people play through a few hours of screen tapping for 3 units I'm going to sell immediately after I get my tickets.

Wasn't there an event before where you had to use a team under a certain cost? I wish they'd do more things like that to mix up the teams you use since with bonus categories you just end up using an all LR team on piss easy events rather than be creative.
The concept is good, but Strikes and early Prime Battles were a massive pain. They'd need to make an entirely new mode like Battlefield 1.0 to properly use cost again.

Someone in my friends list used Vegeta/Bulma for Vegeta's Lineage ESBR and all Goku/Chichi need to be viable is a good linking partner, which will admittedly probably never happen. "Shit" is too harsh for any of them except the hybrid trio since most of their passive is dependent on units that hold their own just fine and will be held back by them.
Money spenders, I'm new to this so explain something to me. I bought stones for Pan-chan and felt like the sales were whack and I was spending a lot more money than I would have if there were some mega event going on in JP right now. Do I really save that much if I scoop up all the special sale packs on Global right now and during all the upcoming celebrations and hoard them until she comes out? Is it worth it to resist temptation for that long? I struggled just maintaining a balance of 1000 F2P stones since the JP anniversary, is it easier if you know exactly what you're saving for?
Nothing good on the Horizon except for Pan. Shitditz and SSB Jobku/Jobgeta then Vegeta & Trunks that's it. This year has been pretty fricking stinky outside of the anniversary so far, not as bad as 2020 but still disappointing. Frieza played with him and so did 17. He never had a chance at beating either of them. Frieza could always transform again and he did. 17 was never going to run out of energy and 16 and 18 could have jumped in at any moment. The only time he had an advantage was the first time he fought Cell but he let him monologue and run away instead of killing him.
I know this is selfish, given that I've pulled every good featured unit this anniversary, but I didn't get even one good unit from any of the tickets this anniversary. Feels bad.

PD will probably be possible, especially after I farm and awaken my new LR TEQ Broly, but Bond of Master and Disciple looks impossible, since I don't have their proper leader (highest i have is 130%) and the scattered good units I do have for that cat don't go together on teams well. So jury will be out on that.
Gonna try and see if I can finally nail Target: Goku for FL:GT soon. And I've been thinking about buying a Power Surge ticket to get TEQ Janemba since I have no lead for Corroded Body and Mind and my team is lacking in general there.
There is no excuse in having a World Tournament SSR that is only a little over a year old rainbowed but not have a SINGLE copy of Transforming Vegeta who has been on every fricking banner for

I doubt anyone knows this early, but probably both on top of the much more lighthearted tone. The only things Super Hero really did right were the banter and finally making Goten and Trunks look their age.
They marketed it pretty accurately but honestly it's not the type of marketing that was gonna get huge amount of interest. That being said I really liked the movie, the character interactions were really good and even Cell max was so dumb it ended up being pretty fun.

the secret was to use only one whis during the aoe phase and save all the active skills to the last phase. there's a lot of luck involved since you would need to kill str brolly before he supers a second time and during the alst phase you will ahve to pra for him to not super twice.
You can also use the ginyu team or a goku family team with a bunch of stacker, dont bother bringing phy future gohan without a trunks on the team else he gets creamed.

Seeing how fast they turned ginyu force around I already rate 3 of the current namekians in LR demon King, phy Piccolo and agl nail as having very good potential then you consider orange piccolo is on the way you just have 2 more slots that need filled up. You have some potentially strong f2p options in the U6 namekians tur and LR WT piccolos eza. I live in hope that joined forces units get their respective counterparts categories which frees up the PHY goku and piccolo then the super movies has a lot of potential piccolos such as RR disguise or piccolo and pan. I'd like a dfe dende or kami since I think they have enough scenes to deserve it then you have big characters such as piccolo jnr and demon King piccolo (restored) who don't have proper units.

Global exclusives tend to lack something of their JP counterparts one way or another historically, the greatest example being LR K/C coming with I think sHit.

It's the same situation as LR SS2 gohan, the SA name doesn't have kamehameha therefore he isn't in the category even though he does do one in the animation. It's dumb but it's nothing to do with whether it connected or not
Hey nonfanbro, if you actually watch the Bojack movie you'd know the Kamehameha didn't connect there either. It collided with Boujack's attack and the explosion of smoke and light gives is when Gohan attacks
Dokkan maintains this by making the Kamehameha he does not connect. It explodes in light the same way to mimic the final blow
JP still doesn't have it and it would still be a good excuse to release it for them. If they gave Global the GT Trio to make up for it, I can very easily see it happening still.
Tanabata got 4 EZAs because they're going hard on EZAs for the whole year.
If the WWC was going to be GT themed, they wouldn't have released the EZA for the GT Trio right before it, as there's frick all GT units in the game in the first place.
The WWC is pretty much guaranteed to have 5 or so EZAs like how Anni had 2 banner units EZAs + 6 DFEs EZAs (2 TURs and 4 LRs).
It makes perfect sense for them to put it with Pan regardless of whether or not GT is WWC. More than "going hard," they're trying to give characters as closely adjacent as possible to whatever the exact celebration is EZAs. Ss4fp Goku really isn't that bad especially when you consider we'll mostly likely get limit breaker SS4s for the heroes celebration which will enable the scouter side of his passive to be useful

That pretty great when you consider the other scouter units in piccolo, gogeta and jeice are floating around the 100k range most of their life plus he does have a 30% chance to evade supers. ASAP for SS4s, wait until you absolutely need to kill something before it kills you for the Gods. Let them stack as much as you possibly can or the Blues will do no damage and get fricked in the ass.
Depends on the situation obviously. If there isn't a super coming in then just stack but if there is one coming in and you don't have a sponge or there's a bad rotation coming up and you need to nuke a phase then work away
I usually make sure mine get at least 4 supers before if I can, but the runs where I transform them asap has benefitted me way more than leaving them in base and trying to stack

I can't be sinking time into units that I will never use for hard content, I need Red Zone ready units. You do realize we only get 3 attempts a day don't you? I need to maximize my chance of success for those 3 attempts and that means making sure I am training up units that can hold their own when it matters. 30 stones right now is not worth the time taken away from Red Zone when I can get stones doing things that will actually further my goals. If I have used all of my 3 attempts for the day or I have beaten all of the available Red Zone stages and have nothing else to work on then perhaps I will get around to these EZAs and put those stones towards a banner which the experts say is actually viable (sorry Raditz). What Akatsuki has done with this Full Power Super Saiyan 4 Goku EZA is a downright embarrassment and if this what they plan on doing going forward, giving us units that cannot even handle the content we are expected to complete, then maybe I will just have to give legends a try instead. This attitude that only stones matter is entirely destructive to the game and if you care at all about Dokkan and it's future I'd suggest you reevaluate your mindset.

My TEQ SSJ4 Gogeta does 6 million ATK and has about 270k DEF when fully built up. My INT Gigeta with two dupes barely does 4.5 million and has about 200k DEF.
They could make this banner completely free, they could make a Raditz guaranteed every pull, they could literally give me stones for every summon I do on the banner. Nothing would make me summon for this piece of shit in a million years.

I think the dumbest part was when you think about the dragonballs themselves in the Buu saga. With the Saiyans they grant a single, non-reusable wish, they're a goal more than anything and there's a little bit of tension of "We have to use it to bring Goku back that's our literal only option."
Namek has that awesome play where they use the slightly different rules between the two sets to play this plan out. Thought was put into it and there were stakes.
With Cell they weren't used all that much, fair enough.
Then with Buu, there's a part where Piccolo flat out tells Buu to go murder everyone on the planet to kill some time because who cares? Dragonballs just remove all tension from the story. They're treated as a predetermined solution to all problems rather than a last resort or a goal. And the worst part? As far as I'm aware, GT is the only part that even deals with that issue. It is pretty obvious that we will see goku baby top tier animations for WWC

Why is Gogeta's in SSBE color?
Gogeta is after the ToP and their hair has a darker tone of blue throughout the entire movie so it's probably just them being stronger which in turn leads to this color.
Those are manga SSB colors and aura in Broly movie. Controlled/Perfect SSB with darker hair is the default state now and SSBE doesn't exist there. Back then, the plan was to override all the anime exclusive BS and cement the manga as canon for when the show returned but the world shut down and threw a wrench into things. Ridiculous fanfiction shit like SSBE has had enough time to sit and marinate in the fanbase and now people actually like it and want Vegeta to get more moronic forms.
But Goku mastered Blue back in Zamasu arc and his hair didn't change.

The current EZArea units couldn't even do LGE consistently, they won't work as fill for SBR, and might barely work in moddern dokkan events. There wouldn't be an issue if the units were worth using, or if the EZA made them worth using, but they're just trash. Why couldn't they make them as good as F2P Phy LR Goku?
I don't care if it's meta, I care if it can do the content, and these EZArea units are all made of fricking glass, have poor stats, and useless passives. They aren't even good for new players because of that.
If they didn't invent the EZArea formula, you would just complain that there are too many F2P EZBs that give less rewards and require obscure categories to beat. People still complain when there are EZAs for batches of characters and they "only" get 30 stones for it. EZAreas add up, some of them have over 20 stages at this point. Doing all those easy missions is netting you a frick ton of stones over time but you crave instant gratification and need to soomon right now.
At least the EZBs would reward you with stones for your trouble, instead of giving you 1-2 per whole 7-step EZA. It would be infinitely less annoying if I didn't have to use the units I only keep around to Baba their dupes, but no, it wouldn't be fun if I wasn't playing with the slime from under the bottom of the barrel.
The mass EZBs only have 7 units max, which is still 10+ stones less they'd have as EZ Area stages, and the only one with that many stages is the Hero Extermination one, which could've easily been 2 or 3 EZBs instead. The only potential justification for any EZ Area would be to not have an EZB like Kid Gohan's, but 4th anni gave the regular 33 stones for each of the 2 f2p EZBs and got replaced with EZ Areas 6 months later.

Wasn't there an event before where you had to use a team under a certain cost? I wish they'd do more things like that to mix up the teams you use since with bonus categories you just end up using an all LR team on piss easy events rather than be creative.
The concept is good, but Strikes and early Prime Battles were a massive pain. They'd need to make an entirely new mode like Battlefield 1.0 to properly use cost again.
Someone in my friends list used Vegeta/Bulma for Vegeta's Lineage ESBR and all Goku/Chichi need to be viable is a good linking partner, which will admittedly probably never happen. "Shit" is too harsh for any of them except the hybrid trio since most of their passive is dependent on units that hold their own just fine and will be held back by them.

Piccolo beat one frieza form after fusing with Nail though. He did pretty well. Also he beat Android 17 after fusing with Kami.
Frieza played with him and so did 17. He never had a chance at beating either of them. Frieza could always transform again and he did. 17 was never going to run out of energy and 16 and 18 could have jumped in at any moment. The only time he had an advantage was the first time he fought Cell but he let him monologue and run away instead of killing him.

Worthy Rivals + Gifted Warriors. I originally wasn't gonna do these together, but since I pulled Kneelgeta recently I decided to go for it
Otherworld Warriors. I think I saw this team posted here and decided to copy it since it was pretty smart.
Lastly, Battle of Fate.
I now have two missions left: Planetary Destruction and Bond of Master and Disciple. PD will probably be possible, especially after I farm and awaken my new LR TEQ Broly, but Bond of Master and Disciple looks impossible, since I don't have their proper leader (highest i have is 130%) and the scattered good units I do have for that cat don't go together on teams well. So jury will be out on that.
Gonna try and see if I can finally nail Target: Goku for FL:GT soon. And I've been thinking about buying a Power Surge ticket to get TEQ Janemba since I have no lead for Corroded Body and Mind and my team is lacking in general there.

I doubt anyone knows this early, but probably both on top of the much more lighthearted tone. The only things Super Hero really did right were the banter and finally making Goten and Trunks look their age.
They marketed it pretty accurately but honestly it's not the type of marketing that was gonna get huge amount of interest. That being said I really liked the movie, the character interactions were really good and even Cell max was so dumb it ended up being pretty fun.

hum, good question, i guess you could wait for the ssj4 to eza since they can counter supers and maybe save your ass during the aoe phase, teq gogeta can also help out.
the secret was to use only one whis during the aoe phase and save all the active skills to the last phase. there's a lot of luck involved since you would need to kill str brolly before he supers a second time and during the alst phase you will ahve to pra for him to not super twice.
You can also use the ginyu team or a goku family team with a bunch of stacker, dont bother bringing phy future gohan without a trunks on the team else he gets creamed.

Depends on the situation obviously. If there isn't a super coming in then just stack but if there is one coming in and you don't have a sponge or there's a bad rotation coming up and you need to nuke a phase then work away
I usually make sure mine get at least 4 supers before if I can, but the runs where I transform them asap has benefitted me way more than leaving them in base and trying to stack

I can't be sinking time into units that I will never use for hard content, I need Red Zone ready units. You do realize we only get 3 attempts a day don't you? I need to maximize my chance of success for those 3 attempts and that means making sure I am training up units that can hold their own when it matters. 30 stones right now is not worth the time taken away from Red Zone when I can get stones doing things that will actually further my goals. If I have used all of my 3 attempts for the day or I have beaten all of the available Red Zone stages and have nothing else to work on then perhaps I will get around to these EZAs and put those stones towards a banner which the experts say is actually viable (sorry Raditz). What Akatsuki has done with this Full Power Super Saiyan 4 Goku EZA is a downright embarrassment and if this what they plan on doing going forward, giving us units that cannot even handle the content we are expected to complete, then maybe I will just have to give legends a try instead. This attitude that only stones matter is entirely destructive to the game and if you care at all about Dokkan and it's future I'd suggest you reevaluate your mindset.
