Every piece of endgame content released after him save maybe SBR just invalidates him and it particularly sucks since I love his transformed super.
the thing about him is that when transformed he only gets his full passive if the enemy is also sealed but he takes too long to transform, so in short events you probably never transform him while in long events you will never be able to fufill his entire passive. also when he transforms he stops attacking multiple times which would go great with his great chance to crit

He's only good if you have LR PHY Janemba.
He has no linking partners otherwise, plus he's hard to use.
He can tank well, but it's pure RNG, plus no ki links means you rely entirely on orbs to get 6 ki.

I have them rainbow and don't use them much. They are too inconsistent and need to be on a full Goten and Trunks team to be viable. And even then the team has troubles in the first few turns because of lack of defense.
Dokkan is singleplayer. No ammount of powercreep will ever approach what Legends has.
All it does is stop you from getting like 5 stones right there and then. You can just wait for the new units to be made easily available and clear it effortlessly some months later.
You can't go back and rematch everyone in the previous seasons in Legends after finally pulling the now power crept unit.

You guys want some real food for thought? The only 2 non-DFE wicked bloodline LRs are STR FP Frieza and the yet to be released on Global Golden Frieza. This means you'll be completing red zone to summon on a really shitty banner that'll be gimped on Global without the only worth pulling unit on it.

This. The reason why esbr didn't feel this cheap is because you could use items and the "skill" there was being able to determine whether you need to use items on that turn or can you save it for later, also being able to make risks
ESBR is piss easy nowadays. You have too many items and can just double dmg reduction then ghost usher the rest of the way.
ESBR is also terribly balanced but most of the people in this thread wouldn't realise king vegeta supers LR FP Frieza for 1m damage turn one but then a bunch of units (including int golden frieza and his attack lowering) made the stage feasible to no item without insane luck. Units will be release to ghost usher cell max to death and the overreaction here to any sort of increase in difficulty has been embarrassing
I fondly remember cheesing super agl ESBR with Tapion's transformation to get LR SS4 Goku's active immediately before getting BTFO. I don't think I ever had another opportunity to be so creative.
I was also denied Raditz but I didn't chase too hard and just decided to get him with coins later since it's more just liking the character and category rather than the unit actually being good

Shouldn't it be a team full of units with AoE supers? Unironically PHY Raditz seems to be the best leader since he's not only AoE but has most LRs in the game that can AoE super under his leaderskill (Krillin, EZA Broly, Nappa/Vegeta and GA Vegeta)

The way to rank high in WT is to start ASAP and fit as many runs as you can between when you start and when it ends. Every second counts which is why you shouldn't waste time with units that don't AoE or provide any utility to the team.

This exact argument happened a few months ago and the point difference ended up being around an extra million for every 10 wins. Full f2p LRs is faster if you're going for a really high rank, but not for 99% of people who don't play or only go for point rewards, and using an Usher instead of dealing with poor links for a free stun is what's negligible if anything.

It takes more time to setup and use whatever bot or script is necessary to complete the first 700 stages than it does to just do it yourself. WT takes more time if you have a bunch of units that can't get a super off and no protection from getting supered yourself. Using all LRs will turn a 2 minute prelim into 5 minutes. Using all LRs brings the risk of losing your win streak when you get supered on the final. You are also wasting time and items by popping the ghost usher.
The only way to win in this game is to use your time efficiently.

They did the first major update to the battle system in like 2 years. It added a new easy to pull off, hard to counter or predict mechanic while removing one more "skilled" players had gotten used to. That is the main thing I see upsetting people besides general powercreep and lack of content.

It is likely just a case of them failing upwards due to the Dragon Ball brand. They make a decent amount of money even with all the bullshit, people keep playing no matter how terrible it gets because it's Dragon Ball. If it were the exact same game but called One Piece Legends, it wouldn't make half as much money.

Well mine fricked up on some settings so I retried on phone and it's working great.
I'm so bored that I'm killing the saibamen on Raditz's story event.
Also, what the frick were they thinking with PHY Raditz, jesus >150% base stats when Ginyu, Majin Vegeta, Goku/Gohan and Cell are closer to 180% >Extra stats on Super are only against a single enemy >Bonus against 2+ enemies is jackshit, +150% more def at the start of turn is nothing without DR, Guard or stacking >SUPREME DAMAGE >200% is just a fraction of Ginyu's + the bardock rangers
It's kind of useless to run more than 4 AoEs since you'll always have one on rotation at that point. Better to run LRs, supports, or Jaco/Chaozu instead.
Don't have Phy Raditz but do have Str Nappa now so I can run LR Teq Vegeta, Int Raditz and Prime Krillin instead of going for Heart Virus Goku just to run Prime Krillin.

GT and Movie Bosses come to mind as some the categories that could've been better with a more general name, especially GT Bosses.

Nope. The only thing that gimps Pan is her damage reduction wearing off after she attacks and if she's not in the first slot. It should have been one or the other, both makes her too vulnerable in Red Zone and Cell Max. Her team is the second best to take on Cell Max right now.

Beat Omega on my third try without the LR monkeys. His final phase died in two turns, before he could launch his super attack. I've now beaten all the "hard" events in this bubble popping simulator. When are they releasing BEAST Gohan even that does 800k per normal and 5 million per super attack?

Gotenks and exchange Buu, and also Trunks and Zamasu, came out at equivelent times as G/G and Cell and were put on their respective WWC banners.
Global usually had the Saiyan day unit and some other unit like STR Cooler, plus discounts, to cope with the fact they were missing out on those newer units on the JP banner.
So you can expect them to be there.
Gotenk/EBuu and Trunks/Zamas were no where near as powerful or meta shifting as the more recent batch of units. They simply won't put them on the same banner. I'll delete my dokkan account if they do.
Str Buu adn SS2 goku aren't meta shifting. You can barely get SS3 out consistently and Str Buu has no good teams atm
Also the rest of the banner will be loaded with dogshit like gohan and cells 90th return so it'll balance out
At least with Cell it's only a single phase to worry about so you can use everything you've got but the other two has more opportunity for rng to screw with you since every phase is a problem.
Also frick three times a day, this shit needs removing.
This is clearly being treated as a Namek Saga sequel, hence why the countdown pics are all from it.

For new players it would be better since you want as many SSRs as possible, but if it had all the featured cards of both banners and you just cared about the featured ones, it would be the same pulling on either.
If it's like OPTC, the smarter move would be on the banner with both units until you get one of the them and then move on to the actual banner of the unit you're missing.
But if it gives out blue coins it's really not worth it imo.
I already have 7/10 of the type support units and there's nothing else to get with them. While red coins can let me skip banners and save hundreds of stones by just giving me the one thing I want.

If that ends up being true then it would literally mean that the type supports units are gonna EZA soon, and they are trying to get rid off blue coins of all players as much as possible.
We should have an exchange/transformation unit where the leader skill gets buffed when they transform.
Imagine something like AGL Turles bumping to a 200 movie bosses lead while in tree of might mode.
Other units with permanent transformations (you know, most of them) would only get like a 10% boost but I think it would be neat.

Dokkan's pity system was never that great to begin with. Blazing had a much better pity system as you guaranteed the new unit on last step of the step up summons, if dokkan had this, then it would only take 500 stones to pull the new unit.

There was a more or less "exploit" move which consisted of moving slight forward and to the side that pretty much allowed you to dodge every attack and allowed people to bypass a lot of bs content (since a ton of it basically relies on you pulling the brand new cards) and they just removed it.
They've also significantly reduced rewards given for raids for no reason.

Angelku is manageable with dupes for the Otherworld Warriors LGTE mission, str Kefla is good for Rapid Growth SBR, transforming Freeza is great with dupes, hit is good for U6 content, and SS4 Vegeta is okay with dupes.

can barely handle LVE in base defensively if you get several supers and can't transformed and can't get his buffs transformed since debuffs aren't allowed in most endgame content
Every piece of endgame content released after him save maybe SBR just invalidates him and it particularly sucks since I love his transformed super.
the thing about him is that when transformed he only gets his full passive if the enemy is also sealed but he takes too long to transform, so in short events you probably never transform him while in long events you will never be able to fufill his entire passive. also when he transforms he stops attacking multiple times which would go great with his great chance to crit

Dokkan is singleplayer. No ammount of powercreep will ever approach what Legends has.
All it does is stop you from getting like 5 stones right there and then. You can just wait for the new units to be made easily available and clear it effortlessly some months later.
You can't go back and rematch everyone in the previous seasons in Legends after finally pulling the now power crept unit.

This shit though, it's so joyless for everyone and all the teams are exactly the fricking same. It's such a lazy way to push summoning for the newest unit then immediately powercreeping them.
This. The reason why esbr didn't feel this cheap is because you could use items and the "skill" there was being able to determine whether you need to use items on that turn or can you save it for later, also being able to make risks
ESBR is piss easy nowadays. You have too many items and can just double dmg reduction then ghost usher the rest of the way.
ESBR is also terribly balanced but most of the people in this thread wouldn't realise king vegeta supers LR FP Frieza for 1m damage turn one but then a bunch of units (including int golden frieza and his attack lowering) made the stage feasible to no item without insane luck. Units will be release to ghost usher cell max to death and the overreaction here to any sort of increase in difficulty has been embarrassing
I fondly remember cheesing super agl ESBR with Tapion's transformation to get LR SS4 Goku's active immediately before getting BTFO. I don't think I ever had another opportunity to be so creative.

Shouldn't it be a team full of units with AoE supers? Unironically PHY Raditz seems to be the best leader since he's not only AoE but has most LRs in the game that can AoE super under his leaderskill (Krillin, EZA Broly, Nappa/Vegeta and GA Vegeta)
Yes. Jaco, Chiaotzu and every AoE you can get under one leader skill will always be the optimal way to score in WT. newbies in this thread will tell you to use all F2P LRs cause you get a little bit more points per run but it doesn't matter. The extra points higher cost yields is already negligible enough but on top of that, you are now wasting time by having a bunch of LRs that can barely even super attack let alone do AoEs.
The way to rank high in WT is to start ASAP and fit as many runs as you can between when you start and when it ends. Every second counts which is why you shouldn't waste time with units that don't AoE or provide any utility to the team.
Look at this team, Majin Vegeta is never getting his AoE off. Nappa/Vegeta struggles to even get a super and it often doesn't do enough damage to kill every enemy. The Ginyus do NOTHING but be vulnerable, this clown doesn't even have them EZA so not even the leader skill is worth it. Basically, if you don't get Krillin or one of the Brolys, your rotation is dead. Prelims already take long enough, don't saddle yourself with these kinds of rotations. With Jaco, Chiaotzu and all AoEs, even if you get both of them on the rotation, you are still going to wipe out the enemy every time.
I run a happy medium.
This exact argument happened a few months ago and the point difference ended up being around an extra million for every 10 wins. Full f2p LRs is faster if you're going for a really high rank, but not for 99% of people who don't play or only go for point rewards, and using an Usher instead of dealing with poor links for a free stun is what's negligible if anything.

It takes more time to setup and use whatever bot or script is necessary to complete the first 700 stages than it does to just do it yourself. WT takes more time if you have a bunch of units that can't get a super off and no protection from getting supered yourself. Using all LRs will turn a 2 minute prelim into 5 minutes. Using all LRs brings the risk of losing your win streak when you get supered on the final. You are also wasting time and items by popping the ghost usher.
The only way to win in this game is to use your time efficiently.

They did the first major update to the battle system in like 2 years. It added a new easy to pull off, hard to counter or predict mechanic while removing one more "skilled" players had gotten used to. That is the main thing I see upsetting people besides general powercreep and lack of content.
It is likely just a case of them failing upwards due to the Dragon Ball brand. They make a decent amount of money even with all the bullshit, people keep playing no matter how terrible it gets because it's Dragon Ball. If it were the exact same game but called One Piece Legends, it wouldn't make half as much money.

Global usually had the Saiyan day unit and some other unit like STR Cooler, plus discounts, to cope with the fact they were missing out on those newer units on the JP banner.
So you can expect them to be there.
Gotenk/EBuu and Trunks/Zamas were no where near as powerful or meta shifting as the more recent batch of units. They simply won't put them on the same banner. I'll delete my dokkan account if they do.
Str Buu adn SS2 goku aren't meta shifting. You can barely get SS3 out consistently and Str Buu has no good teams atm

Angelku is manageable with dupes for the Otherworld Warriors LGTE mission, str Kefla is good for Rapid Growth SBR, transforming Freeza is great with dupes, hit is good for U6 content, and SS4 Vegeta is okay with dupes.
