I unironically loved farming and EZAing all of the Metal Coolers last year, it was really fun for me for some reason. Like achieving a bunch of small goals in a row, just feels very rewarding.
Extreme side of things seems hard to build since we got an LR Fusion Zamasu so I dunno why but I don't think they do Carnival LR Corrupted Zamasu (with corrupted in the name) and I doubt blue Vegito would be the carnival. Also dunno whether they'll do the banner split like last year's WWC (I kinda hope they do I liked it tbh). The ideal for current teams and based on that logic I guess would be

With the way current endgame content is either you're at full HP or 20-40% after a super. Content ends on turns 7-9 so you won't even get to see him transform. He needs his entire kit retooled to even be a contender for the team.

It's all about the cards passive.
They try and keep the card as it was but buff their numbers a bit, in some rare cases they give them something extra, but it's not that common.
A good example is when a card has something like "does X when the enemy is defensive down status" in its passive, you just know before hand that the EZA is gonna suck because they'll keep that part. Oceannus EZA is coming soon, and I bet it will suck because of that.

PHY SSJ2 Goku and STR Kid Buu were originally meant to be the first New Years LRs, but the producers changed course due to the units still being released on a delay on Global.

I think jphanta did a video on it but from what I remember it was basically Trunks was looking to recruit strong allies from other time lines (like summoning in dokkan). Literally duck all happens forever and it's just Trunks meeting characters and then eventually Trunks and Piccolo teamed up to chase Dr Gero (whose basically Trunks but evil) at the end of the "orginal" quest mode story (ie when it wasn't updated for like 6 years). The new stuff just seems to be Trunks fighting a bunch of villians and since the reboot Raditz and Bardock have joined his crew (or did raditz join in the OG run?).
It's a boring mess and I'm surprised they didn't scrap it instead of rebooting it

Well, they have limited content to work with since there's no new anime, so they're bound to have to revisit some characters.
I get that people might not enjoy the other forms of cell (I do though), they absolutely NEED to update cells links though, because cell only links well with other perfect form cells, and you can't really create more perfect cells because of the name of the card, so the other forms are a good way to solve this, hopefully a slot one Cell.
Rosé is basically dead at this point in the game, so some EZA's a and some new releases might be good actually.
As for sayians, there will always be a frick ton of them because, well, they're the main characters of the show and Dokkan sure like to release a ton of them.

There was the obvious Z-Fighter team that people were suggesting as an alternative to team bardock before they even came out. Personally I had an idea for an entirely F2P category called "STRIKE!" or something like that where we'd get a new wave of more modern super strike units. The idea being that while the team wouldn't link well it'd have a bunch of random units that people could maybe vote on that wouldn't receive a dokkanfest or LR anyways. As for the leader I think it'd have been neat to get the young version of Elder Kai as a unit and he'd lead the team and give ptp kid goku style buffs to everyone on it to make up for links. F2P does have multiple ways to become cool again but we're probably never getting good F2Ps back to back since we haven't since the 6th anni or so. Just occassional flukes

To be fair everyone is getting wrecked once their guard/equivalent runs out. That's the real downside of units that need to get hit to build up. If the majority of phases are only hitting 2-5 times across the whole rotation then they literally get nothing before it matters. Gamma 1 took a 300k normal in the last phase of androids because no guard and he only got hit once I think before then

i have mine ranbowed and the gt duo consistently gets AT LEAST 30% reduction turn 1, and ssj4 goku is a perfect slot 1 for them

this. zamasu is an interesting concept and to be honest i think he was executed fine. if he was expanded a bit more and had a better conclusion i feel as if people would be much more fond of him. for some reason dragon ball villains never really get explored besides maybe frieza and are often very surface level

I think he's so hung up on dodge and dodge builds because he has every unit rainbowed, link level 10 and maxed out with equips, so the game is on easy mode for him vs for someone who has units at 55% or so.
Since the ESBR days, he intentionally gives himself a handicap of doing "no item runs" which the game has no missions or rewards for doing so, when he could just use an item like a normal player in a tight spot. He's forced to rely on dodging because he forces himself to not use items which is why he's been transitioning from just saying give everything 3 dodge to now saying you should go full dodge on EVERYTHING.
I'm fine with people building their units however they want, but I always hate when I see him carelessly suggest to give dodge to units that need to get hit to build up, or activate part of their passive or have a revive if they die. Especially when this game stupidly doesn't allow you to change your hidden potential whenever you want unless you spend 5 stones or use a dupe of the unit.
there are a few stages that have missions that have no items missions such as the Cell max stage (the original not the red zone) but most of the hard stages don't
