I actually checked through all her sprites and illustrations and this is actually the worst of them all.
literally every other appearance of Lorelei nails the OL vibe while this one's just a fricking mess.
oh huh, I didn't know pokemon puzzle league was never released in japan. I was going to look up this scene in the japanese version to check the translation, but this is an american developed game.
>I was going to look up this scene in the japanese version to check the translation
This is what a weeb brain infected with culture war rot looks like.
there was supposed to be a Panel de Pon 64 on N64. There was a build that was actually found and footage of it has been uploaded to YouTube. It's basically just Panel de Pon from the GameCube Nintendo Puzzle Collection.
Worst of all, this piece of shit never dumped the ROM and most likely sold it to someone else. what an butthole
The Nintendo Puzzle Collection version is pretty much the same game. There even is a bunch of leftover data from the GBC Pokémon game that has the same designs.
Big Pakkun makes a line about sucking your mother's milk before realizing she doesn't have breasts, being a plant. Since Yoshi no PanePon came out after Tetris Attack, that means they did a meme translation of a regional reskin for a wider audience.
>I was going to look up this scene in the japanese version to check the translation

the funny thing is the fact that you assume it's culture war bullshit and not the fact that they often just made shit up in the 90s proves you are the culture war zombie
The fact that a cancelled project was repurposed adding the Pokemon anime imagery to take advantage of its popularity in the west is what makes it a "blatant" product made for the west, not to mention it was the second time a change like that happened to Panel de Pon.

lets be real, the 'edgy cool' teens of back then would have NEVER been seen playing a game starring fairies and shit. hence why
>the original panel de pon got changed into a Yoshi's island theme and renamed Tetris Attack. >the 64 version got changed to the pokemon theme >every subsequent release of the game is called just 'puzzle league' which was also a way to distance it from the tetris name since clearly neither Alexey Pajitnov nor the tetris company had anything to do with the game design.

I don't disagree, but again, that's exactly what it makes it a product designed for the west, same reason we didn't get the gamecube Puzzle Collection, they probably thought changing the assets for a whole game wasn't worth it at that point.

Not him but I feel like that's why Sega took the plunge and released Puyo Fever westward as is
Speaking of puzzle games that were only released in the west, it surprised me knowing that Dr. Mario 64 was only a US release until the gamecube collection you posted. It's like a total inversion of the Animal Crossing thing where only Japan got the N64 one and then we got it on Gamecube.
Also a little surprised that in that collection they remade Yoshi's Cookie entirely instead of emulating one of the old games.

It's been the same thing for a lot of puzzle games around that era and SNES
Reskinning them to be IPs the west is familiar with and writing the entire script in English from scratch.
Happened with Puyo Puyo and the original Panel de Pon being reskinned with Kirby/Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and Yoshi respectively. There's even an official english version of Magical Drop 2 that never released.
Audiences are more neutral about stuff now but back then I assume companies thought people would've thought that the games were being marketed toward girls so it wouldn't sell though Puyo 1 still got an arcade release with a 4kids tier translation anyway.
Speaking of Puyo, I can't believe we're getting a new MM

They shouldn't ever be caught playing that shit now. You wonder why zoomers are such huge homosexuals?
There's no edgy cool badass role models for them to emulate.

I mean, in this context Yoshi and Pokemon aren't exactly edgy under any circumstance, they just aren't girly.

Yoshi is girly as frick. Pokemon isn't as girly but isn't really edgy either.

Notice how this is based exclusively off the first season of the anime, the same season that had routinely had life or death situations, adventures, and even guns (censored but still)
there was that weird transitionary period in the late 90's early 00's where Pokemon was that edgy show for kids.

im sure he did knew, we never knew why he left really, at most prolly Prof. Ivy or her assistants were the ones who ditched him.
seriously those 'fill the blanks' jokes are moronic. if they dont want to say why Brock left her, they could have left out the depression bouts (which lasted like 2 eps at most) and just said he was asked by her to investigate shit in Johto.
Brock's biggest failure was not realizing adult women usually don't like guys in their mid teens (his approximate age was pretty much confirmed by that waitress who rejected him). That's why he struck out so much. He did way better when he hit on girls his own age, picrel

it's obvious why he left
he's a clean freak, there's no way he could live with how much of a slob she is. the pussy wasn't worth the pain

to this day i still have no fricking idea what that was about. Hopefully it wasn't roleplay shit.
>Finally beat Pokemon Puzzle League on Very Hard for the first time
I feel like I got really lucky. I don't know how people can get constant double-digit chains
It becomes second nature after a while. Besides that, the AI is both better at getting chains and the game itself is generally slower compared to the SNES version, which means you can easily get double digits from just playing defensively and countering the opponent's garbage.
But S-Hard is really easy, it just takes a high amount of trial and error >t. 30 years old boomer

I got filtered by her for fricking ages on super hard difficulty, I came to loathe the sound of her voice. Same with Bruno
Gary never got annoying to listen to though >TOO GOOD FOR YA?
Vastly different incident rates. I also blame the media; they only report on male offenders when they're ugly and female offenders when they're beautiful.
Both are great. >tfw i will never be a naive little boy who is forced to frick a hot OL every single day until his balls can actually produce sperm >tfw i will never be a 40+ yo fat bastard taking care of a cute little girl whose parents don't give her even a bit of attention ala lost life
Lorelei, my name is whatever gets me into your bedroom

He died 5 years ago, Anon.
It's time to let go.
She canonically doesn’t show up again after her initial appearance because she was arrested for trying to proposition young trainers.
>Bustiest girl in Kanto
>has the least amount of porn
The tragedy of being an E4 member.
This was the end of good Pokemon character design. A costume that looks like a Pokemon is lazy.
yeah... at least she is still busty, but that dress suck ass.
the corset/top and short skirt emphasize the bust and legs better, the jacket makes her look younger and the 90s floof is just a better hairstyle.
MSEX style is way too prudish.
Stop using the TV show as your frame of reference for how characters look
Except the TV show is the superior version of her, shut up
I actually checked through all her sprites and illustrations and this is actually the worst of them all.

I miss torpedo breasts bras.
god i wish i was 10 and also a clueless pokemon trainer
Definitely bonered from her and sabrina and to a lesser extent erika.

I recently found out that it has the 2ba master soundtrack. That's probably why it was US only.

there's nothing culture war about 90s translations being bad you braindead mongoloid

Yeah, must be!?
Yes.
Okay?!
holy shit shut the frick up

YWNBAW
Then why are you here? (You)s, got it.
It's literally just a reskin of Tetris Attack/Pandepon so they probably wouldn't have sold well even at the height of Pokemania
goddamn culture war zombie
the funny thing is the fact that you assume it's culture war bullshit and not the fact that they often just made shit up in the 90s proves you are the culture war zombie
This is one of those blatantly made in/for sale in the West games, like Hotel Mario.
How so? Japan made billions of similar puzzle games back then. Genuinely what did you mean by this?

i think the reskin was made in the us, hence the murican anime music, but the skeleton was from a cancelled panel de pon N64 game
That's surprising. I remember the opening cutscene having animation from the OG anime team. They made that just for Westerners?
Sabrina is better

I'm not saying it's hard, it just takes a bit of time to learn the game. Trying to beat it without continues is a bit harder but still not that bad.
now beat S.Hard

probably cuz of the nerfed breasts and slight chibi proportions

Too vague.
I've not played bw so I'm just assuming this is canon
She fricked a Japanese man that LARPs as a cowboy and they had a fashion disaster daughter
Pokemon Puzzle League should've had type bonus. What's the point of actually picking Pokemon if not for wall paper.
Like what, your chains send down an extra row of blocks?
Hear me out anon
Vertical row of blocks.
But it's Pokemon Puzzle League not Columns
Did Ash ever beat an Elite Four besides Lance in the show?
Ash never faced Lance and the only elite 4 he ever beat was Drasna. Toook over 1000 plus episodes for ash to beat an e4
Ah, thanks. It's amazing how many times they used the Elite Four to knock Ash back to earth, sort to speak.
