It's one of those incredibly formulaic kids shows. >Nobita has a problem and he's too much of a slob to solve it on his own >Doraemon shows a gadget to fix that >Problem gets fixed but Nobita gets wienery or starts abusing the gadget in some way >Gets punished
There's some super nice episodes among the pile though, like that time Nobita wanted an action figure robot and a city set because the rich kid flaunted his expensive one.
He asks Doraemon to get one but that Doraemon says that will take a good chunk of time so he disappears for the whole episode, so Nobita not wanting to wait starts making his own robot and city out of cardboard, the result isn't that good but he's very proud of himself and quite happy with the result, he doesn't care anymore about getting an expensive figure.
The episodes ends with the punchline of Doraemon bringing a real giant robot because he thought Nobita meant that, but the real morale was pretty sweet.
Sadly most of the series just follows the formula in the greentext.
The modern anime has too many fillers with repetitive plot points from the originals and it is less funny/wacky/violent. Like all of them are too nice when in the original (and especially the manga) they are kids and they have moments of being extremely annoying, perverted and insufferable, but they also get punished in the end.
Every thread deserves a reply.
not really
is the anime good?
It has tons of movies too but not sure. Loved it as a child.
Its like japanese fairly odd parents.

What episode is that? I can’t find it on YouTube
Read the manga, both short and long stories
I recommend reading the manga but some of their movies are also very enjoyable.
Thank god theres no porn on Doraemon. So innocence and won't ruin a thread.

>this kills the isekaigays/self-insertgays
Damn I'm going to get isekai'd as Jesus Christ then
I wasn't as big into that game as far as HM/story of seasons goes, but man the art style was great
