Dota 2 and CSGO esport players get banned from competing

>The Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) issued a ban to several Ukrainian players in Dota 2 and CS:GO. The list includes Team Spirit Dota 2 players: Ilya «Yatoro» Mulyarchuk and Miroslav «Mira» Kolpakov.
>Also banned were Team Spirit CS:GO players: Igor «w0nderful» Zhdanov, Miroslav «zont1x» Plahot and Zakhar «Polbandana» Siledchik.
>The UESF made this decision due to the fact that e-sportsmen played official matches with the Russians in the same squad after the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine. It is not known exactly what consequences the bans of players will entail.

War has always been the reason the greatest scientific breakthroughs were made.
And in this one unlike Iraq and Afghanistan, our boys, our men, they are not the ones dying while in the prime of their productive age. Leaving our industrial and scientific capacity untouched.
All the while Russians are dying and bleeding money, prestige, respect and men.
It's fricking beautiful is what it is.

You know, i never thought i'd see the day where aa fricking war managed to be the most reddit-infused thing i've seen in years.

How do you manage to make a fricking war cringeworthy marvel-tier garbage? It's like those homosexuals think online 'clapbacks' are going to win them battles.

Since this is going to derail into a /misc/ thread , so I’ll be brief
This only prevents them from representing the official Ukrainian team in eSports, which is a meme because there are barely any CSGO competitions where the teams are officially representing a country

Ahhh okay that makes sense. I don't care about CSGO but that at least gives me solace knowing that Team Spirit can still go to TI.

    >Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) issued a ban
But what power do they have? Can they even prevent Mira and Yatoro from attending The International?
