>mfw trying to re-bend that microscopic copper leaf spring thing and put it back >it pops out of hand and is lost forever >rage quit and throw the mouse in the bin
Everyone keeps talking about the trash switches why doesn't anyone mention the atrocious soft-rubber, checkered texture that disintegrates after a year? Normal usage, regular cleaning, mouse looks like trash because of the cheap rubberised layer around it.
love this mouse, but no, I usually just get a new one, they are like 25 euros here, and last me for around 2 yearsbefore they inevitably start double clicking
but the last time i finally gave up and just got a RazerDeathAdder v2, works perfect so far
>have big hands >the last mouse that felt good too hold was the diamondback from the early 2000's >every ergo gaming mouse now feels like shit in some kind of way
i read a tip on here about breathing hot air between the mouse button like you're trying to fog up a window, i tried it and it worked. they said something about getting rid of ther static or some shit i don't know but it works, i do it every couple of months when it starts double clicking again.
I've had this for a year and that hasn't happened yet, pretty happy with it
I’ve had it for 2 1/2 years. Began double clicking out of the blue
the most common issue on every mouse on the planet is double clicking
also that mouse is filthy cheap, literally just buy another
with cheap mice the most common issue I have is the scroll click breaking before anything else
Never happened to me but I have changed 2 mice over the last 5 years because the wheel would start randomly jumping
Should bought Razer or steelseries, serves you right.
Just replace switches, what else you can do besides buying new one.
Yes I replace the copper(?) with older mouse
ive shot hundreds of cumshots into my g102's mussy and it still works fine.
yeah it happened to me after a year of using it, it sometimes doedn't click at all, i stopped using it and just use a cheap wireless mouse
>logitech
That's where you made your mistake.
did this with steelseries once but it didnt have to be a video.
they gave me a code for a new mouse from their store and the 2nd mouse even double clicked.
I got a Razer with optical switches and have had 0 issues in over a year which is a record for me
every company does this now, i had to destroy a space heater i got a replacement for. this is the cost of deceitful Black folk.
nothing you can do aside from soldering in some proper switches
overclockers com/how-to-fix-infamous-logitech-double-click-problem/
this one is too small for my hands. what are some mice for big hands to palm grip?
you would have to replace the switch
yes you can just disassemble the thing and bend the metal in the switch back into place
alternatively just dont buy logitech products
I saw somewhere that they were making hot swappable switches that dont need soldering.
why has it taken them 30 years to finally figure this out?
Frick that mouse, it'd never stop glowing, not even when I was trying to sleep.
Frick computer lights
Buy OMRON D2F-01F and replace the shitty buttons Logitech uses. Watch this video if you're autistic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5BhECVlKJA
You can just install their app, disable the lights and then uninstall it.
never head of Logitech G Hub?
imagine getting outsmarted by a usb device
It just sort of went away after a couple weeks. However, now the forward thumb button double clicks, and its done so for a month now

>rage quit and throw the mouse in the bin
>repairing plastic with planned obsolescence
its futile but kind of commendable
Just assign left click to the side button
but the side buttons are for going back and forth!!?

>starts double clicking
>now able to shoot fast as frick with the FAL in MW2

Pour some rubbing alcohol directly into the motherfricker. Leave it to dry and it'll be good as new.
First time i bought another g102
Second time i bought Razer Viper Mini and all good
