I played through the entire game at 60 FPS with RPCS3. Except I rage quit at the rhythm game

Not sure what's going on here. Bad copy of the game? You could try running from a fresh rpcs3 install to see if you get the same error. Also you could try running rpcs3 as admin if you haven't already.

I rage quit with the real copy after many hours of failing, and tried using a guide/assist video later and still ragequit. On that day I discovered that I am a casual.
I get similar errors but the game still renders and plays fine for me.
Played through the whole thing around December of last year.

that's similar to pcsx2 compatibility list in other words default settings won't work and most of the listed games say playable but in reality just a handful are playable in reality (most of the japanese games aren't playable so i made a simple thing get a chipped PS2 and that's it)

seems you misundertood,what the israelitetubers do is capture the video of real ps3 on the GPU and thanks to that they can output 4k,this can be done with ps3 for a long time ago yet most links or info is hidden or removed (thanks rpcs3 i didn't give a shit about the emu now i avoid it like the plague)

CEMU has a compatibility list only about half complete, and many of the ones playable from start to finish still have lots of noticeable bugs. That is not complete. I hate when people say this just because their few handful of games are playable. It shows that the whole argument about 'preservation' that people argue about is just an obvious facade.

The original Xbox, the N64 and many other emulator scenes are in complete disarray due to the difficulty of emulation, and people think PS4/XB1 etc is going to be a piece of cake. Truly mindblowing.

because they can't ship it with a BIos without getting sued and PS3 custom architecture which is a pain to emulate.
Emulation isn't like what it is for older systems, where it's a literal plug and play. Now you need game specific settings and tweaks/hacks everywhere. Even PCSX2 needs it, but they automatically detect it and makes the process relatively hidden. That, and the road to 100% compatibility is paved with constant regressions where games that worked previously will break again. Honestly, nobody should ever get their hopes up for an eventual PS4 generation emulator. It will only run on NASA supercomputers and even then it'll have awful performance, be insanely buggy and need so many per-game fixes and hacks that it will make PCSX2 look like clean.

Little secret here: hardware improves over time. What you think of as a nasa supercomputer right now, will be old shit compared to what we're running by 2030. At that point, I can totally see a working PS4 emulator happening. Also remember, it took RPCS3 like 5 or 7 years to get a game running somewhat well.
