in his mind vegeta's probably just been using it regularly since universe 6v7 and so wrote it in as a natural power/stakes progression as the fight goes on, not meant to be some big cool new form reveal for a character only for them to use it for a minute

the amalgamation of those + the shitty xenoverse time travel ocs is what i hate about heroes but stupid shit like krillin cell made old dbz games special
what-if forms are absolutely stupid and dives too deep into DBZ fanfiction such as AF shit which is a disaster and should be avoided at all costs. Focus more on ACTUAL characters instead of some moronic frankenstein character (unless it's Android 8) where it's Majin Pan fused with SSJ5 blue Nappa or some other dumb shit no one wants to play

The only what-if I want is Piccolo Daimao fused with Kami. That shit is always a really simple and fun way to make him relevantly powerful for a crazy sidestory.
one thing i liked about some of the what ifs before xenoverse was shit like this cause supersonic warriors had piccolo fuse with king piccolo to fight super buu and majin piccolo
I want every character to have an individual story mode. Like one where Cell develops and actual conscience or where Buu just wins and absorbs every relevant character from every universe and timeline.
Probably because they know Sparking! is the flagship series and they don't want to split the demand and make less money on all their Dragon Ball products in the process.
Even The Breakers is niche despite its pretty good premise and natural suitability to the IP as an Asymmetric multiplayer game.
I'd love to see a them actually acknowledge the scale and sheer violence of Vegeta's past. They treat him like he hasn't personally committed multiple planetary genocides and betrayed the people who trusted him most. Imagine the current Vegeta having to interact with Nappa and actually developing Nappa as a character in the process.
