Wtf is wrong with you. That burst mode was literally what I’ve been waiting for, finally got to test all my stacking teams. Finally a mode where you can make the boss impervious to damage and hit modestly hard for passive reqs. My 90% lr cooler was doin 15 million ultras. Making me NUT.
NTA, but only issue I have with burst mode is that it shouldn't cost any stamina after you hit a certain threshold.
Once you score ~6k, you should unlock a 0 stamina version that doesn't cost stamina but can still improve your score. Wouldn't get drops or link levels either.

This community greatly over exaggerates the performance gap between 170% and 200% leads, the biggest benefit is the HP boost and they have a high HP stat to make up for it. They would have 666,339 defense under a 170% lead which is only 58k less, as if that extra bit is gonna fricking make a difference between defending normals or supers
What 170% lead are you going to run him and a Whis on that doesn't have other better options? Half the point of a proper leader is getting them good synergy since a team like say LR Cooler is too loaded for him to find a place.

It lacks in between frames and you can clearly see when the frames cuts, fricking shit looks like rigged dolls...I swear that fat frick Omatsu is cutting corners with this game because Bandai is giving more budget to Legends

Finally finished the Collection of Epic Battles events and it has finally been proven to me that Cell is a 100% more useful unit that Gohan. Especially when you consider the fact that Cell's actually viable as leader and not just a unit. 2 Cells dropping 15-20 million attack stats with damage reduction, and a full heal are always better than 1 Gohan who won't transform without a stupid gimmick. If you took away the androids from this event and had the same team challenges, it would be even worse for Gohan while Cell would dominate. Skinnytenks is pretty good for a f2p unit thanks to his high defense stat, Fattenks is okay. They both get built in crit, so going hipo additional for the extra defense is a realistic possibility too and it's nice to see them try with animations.
Skinnytenks hits 400k defense easily and the stat loss is laughably small. They're good enough.

I think movie bosses in Red Zone are done for the most part, so that's kind of vestigial. Otherwise, I think he needs dupes to be usable as his turn 1 defense is complete garbage. With them though, I can see him being more or less on the same level as Piccolo, Hacchan, Yajirobe, etc.
It's multiplicative, but it's not a separate step from everything else like with say Bee Pan's active. It'll add to buffs that happen when attacking.

Thing is he only needs 3 hits taken for it to activate but he also needs to take hits to build up and to activate his transformfation. So this support will usually be activating at the very beginning of fights where it isn't needed Since his guard is limited you typically can't delay taking hits for too long to save it. I could see it screwing over some characters that need to stack up because they're doing too much damage early and losing out on build up. Will be great for Charge battles like Metal Cooler Core though
The same argument can be made about units that need the support early on
something like the z spirit bomb (holy shit i love them so much but they cant take hits early on like at all)
The Z duos was one of the units I had in mind. My problem with them already is that they do too much damage at the start of fights to stack sufficiently. And since they aren't slot 1 you usually have someone else attacking first. Then they bust out a 12+ million super and if it crits the fricker dies while stacking only 1 or 2 times

They are, but the difference isn't as noticeable as in the past. They did other things to make it harder like way higher damage reduction than anything else in the game without type advantage, Nuova raising his atk, Eis disabling evasion, Syn having defense lowering, AoEs, 10 attacks, etc. It was going up 2 steps and sideways 3 as opposed to 5 steps straight up.

He climbed to 240k without support on turn 3 with 2 supers that were guaranteed. I think Godku is on the cusp of working in slot 1 so long as you can feed him and the LR SSGs properly, and he'll make a great slot 2 if not.

He's good enough for current content, but there are a few issues:
1) High change to guard is unreliable
2) You need to transform early.
3) Enemy HP isn't keeping up with unit firepower inflation, so events are getting shorter, limiting the impact of SS Goku's def stacking
4) Enemy SAs in the earlier stages are hitting harder than the Legendary events era. Base nameku is a liability.

i have never been able to beat cell max without piccolo, started playing on december i have technically the top units (piccolo, v&t, agl gohan, the new godku i guess) but i dont have the "fillers" for any of their teams, i lack (birdku and any carnival unit) and basically every other good LR/tur
i have beaten other redzones with other units but with cell it feels like if every unit isnt good then you are doomed, guess theres no other option but keep playing and summoning...

Not really no. All the big names have been done with modern animations, some multiple times like Kefla. What you have left is a scene here or there from different characters that isn't enough to make a unit out of like Goku's revival which is sandwiched between SSBK and LR UI.

Burst mode is not hard per se it's very extremely cumbersome and tedious to sit there and do your taxes with a calculator for a whole afternoon trying to figure out the ideal combination of restrictions for the maximum return in points

Yes, as long as you go bottom right > top left > top right > bottom left, each successive dupe gives less stats. VT is full additional since he has built in crit and needs to get hit for his passive.
It's about a 1 in 3 chance at max buildup. A mixed build is better.

I don't understand how you can look at a chance to avoid taking damage entirely and then look at a chance to do a little tiny bit more damage and choose the latter. It's just so baffling to me. It really depends on the character. I tend to give support units that don't do any damage full dodge. Same with defensive units, especially those who already crit or additional, like UI Goku, LR God Goku or the EZA Golden Friezas. But for some units who are huge damage dealers, it's moronic to go full dodge. For example if you put dodge on the anni SS3 Goku/SS2 Bejita, who do a 40 million spirit bomb that can one shot red zone bosses if it crits, Piccolo, who's entire gimmick is his giant form transformation which needs crits, or the new SSBKK EZA Goku, who can one turn Cell Max, you're moronic.
That 3 dodge will fail you when you need it to activate most of the time, so I don't care about the meme.

It is when it comes to the numbers game for most units. Powercreep has been so rampant that anything that's not pumping 7 million on a super isn't worth putting crit in, and currently that's ~98% of units in the game.
Every bit of damage counts even despite powercreep. A unit would have to be like DFE Raditz level for their damage not to matter as doing 1 million damage from a 3 million attack stat as opposed to 1.9 million with a crit on 2-3 appearances could very easily cost you a win. Dozens of times I've been punted into a game over with the enemy at just a sliver of health.
You still get increased damage with additionals? In that example you gave you'd probably be looking at 1.5 or 1.6 million on average, along with all the benefits of the super (a stun chance, raised defense, hell if they raise attack on super and get the second super it'll be more than the crit).
Crit used to be the end all be all, there's no denying that, but nowadays the treturns for crit are lower on these units relative to the HP pools you're dealing with. What doesn't scale as harshly are the few buffs and effects we can get off attacks themselves.
Also, your example cites 3 million as a high enough number but Raditz as being too low. My 55% Raditz is doing 4 million supers and that's still mediocre damage given the rest of his kit.

That completely depends on the unit and effect. Stuns, seals, debuffs, and attack raising are irrelevant for current top level content, which just leaves defense. Defense on super also happens to vary wildly depending on the unit and with the current meta of 400-500k normals and 1.5 million supers, an additional isn't going to make the difference between tanking or not in all but a few cases.

Knowing Frieza he was probably already committing atrocities across the galaxy the same day he was born. Everything we've been shown points to him always being as strong and evil as he is when we first meet him. That all being said, I still wouldn't kill him. Not because he's innocent but because killing him that early fricks the entire timeline up beyond repair.

STR God Goku is kinda overrated. I have him rainbowed and he's taking like 100k per normal in harder red zones, even on slot 2 after he super attacks. Having his Damage Reduction come in from getting hit was a moronic decision. Once he gets fully built up, he's a God, but good luck not getting deleted before then.
