But the tragedy in that is that even if they give him a Dokkanfest unit and it's even better than Yamcha or the Gammas, his team will more than likely be limited to Androids anyway.

Most units with DR have it based on your HP being above a certain threshold.
HV Goku has DR that's based on having your HP BELOW a certain threshold. Which makes him very dangerous to use in fights that go on more than 5 turns.
I have him rainbowed and barely use him because he's such a liability. He's absolutely not a top tier unit, in the same way that agl or teq GF are not top tier units just because they ahve 80-90% DR.

He loses the 59% DR after 5 turns and needs to be under 59% HP to activate the DR after that.
If you were at max health and on the 5th turn he's going to get absolutely opened up and cracked like a walnut.

He starts at like 250k defense on turn 1 when rainbowed and fully EZA'd.
With good RNG that's about 500k by turn 5.
He still gets absolutely bodied and will take 500k+ from a super, but will shrug off any normals.
It's good but not great, not that you'll ever hear it since the sound mixing is awful, pvp only plays the same generic theme from launch 90% of the time, and you're going auto through everything else.

I have been playing for 4 years (originally I started in 2017 but I stopped playing and when I moved from ios to android I couldn't get my account back) so from 2018 to now I have 40 lrs, which means I've gotten a total of 10 lrs per year.
I have around 30? dfes too but I grouped banner units with them so I can't tell for sure I just used the special sticker thing to see.
Either way that means I've gotten 7.5 dfes per year.
Not sure what everyone else's numbers are but I can't complain at all.
Yeah they kinda did. Still has bugs though.
There is now a hidden "power levell" value assigned to each friendleader based on SA, stats and passives, and the game choses a leader for you based on that and your own leader skill. (so sometimes it might give you a great unit but with an unfitting leader)
Also now the latest chosen friend lead (specifically for that stage, I think) is remembered by the game and stays in the list so you can use him over and over.

I legitimately don't know why people went all in on this heroes banner.
I went all in on the SS4 banners in 2020 and the God Trunks banner in 2021 because at the time both of those teams were god tier.
But the 2022 Heroes units we knew were dogshit from the jump.
The only thing I can see doing is the discount summons on the EZA banner since the 2022 Heroes EZAs were drastically better than the actually featured banner units.
Heroes have cleared every final Red Zone and Cell Max, and I'm working on those clears myself for fun.

SDBH or Vegeta/Trunks?
DBH if you have a lot of stones, Vegeta/Trunks if you don't and want to bank on discounts alone. Ideally, you want 1 dupe for all the major Heroes units to be comfortable to use.
pretty much got everyone but Harts and one path for SS4 Vegeta. Oppai of time too.
Like you mention a large portion of their kits rely on having other crossover or hero units.
But the saiyan units can fit well in those categories.
the part I hate the most is how the SS4s specifically need super class and hearts specifically needs extreme, so you basically need to make either a full super class DBH team or a full extreme class DBH team, can't mix and match or the 200% get nerfed big time especially Goku
Lbs and hearts only need attacking allies to be the same class, so you can keep two opposites on a different rotation as long as the floaters match the passive you want. So for example I could throw GS3 on hearts' team as long as i keep them separated.
but doing that means hearts needs to get hit 5 times to transform and you have to wait for turn 5
also having rotations where Goku doesn't have access to his damage reduction is terrible for him

If you have pretty much a majority of the units on the V&T banner, go for Heroes. If not, V&T.
Also remember that the Starry Night fest is coming soon, which'll also have the 7th Anni units as well.

Damn dudes, I'm really starting to not like this game. Used to be fun and now it feels like I've been an idiot to have played for such a long time. I've played through most of the game missions but these new ones are something else. Like wtf is red zone so damn bad? I've been playing since 2018 and have most every unit from the past 4 years save for last year's as I won't spend crazy cash on every banner unit.
The units have been powercrept completely and utterly even from last year. I am stunned that units from 2020 are completely unviable for most new events, they only slap for maybe 2-3 mil with the right partners and link levels, their defence is fricking abysmal in this new era of "just have high defence all the time or get smacked with 800k and instantly lose). Flying by the seat of your pants taking 150k on a special and 30k on a normal to skirt by a challenging event using 2 hp heal skills was engaging and a great time. All these units from a few years ago could be used and if you were missing a unit that would be good for the team they usually had a 140/140 extreme z awakened option that WASN'T garbage the afternoon it came out.
Now I don't even wanna summon as a globalgay either because every banner has blown dick and even the dragon ball pedroes banner is kinda ass. There's no reason these dudes for all the power creep shouldn't be slamming 7-8 mil at 55% considering they have 1 time they're useful.
Still flabbergasts me why Akatsuki is do horrendously inept when it comes to their Super Hero unit release schedule. We should have at least a dozen units from that movie by now, especially shortly after the release of the movie.

Not him, but this is an actual issue on JP at least. As soon as the Yamcha DDL came, there was a notification in the news telling to players to wait as the game freezes on "Now Loading" when logging in and it takes like 3 fricking minutes every single time.
Apparently they're also giving out refunds to everyone that bought stones for the Heroes banner because Hearts doesn't have a voice on Global even though the promo video said he would.

Former legends player here and I have to say I love how this game craps on future Gohan every chance it gets. Legends overwanks him like he's the most important character in the series but I like how dokkan keeps him an irrelevant b***h just like he is in the show.
All I know is that until I could days ago, I almost never saw Vegeta's face in Legends but I can't go 15 seconds without seeing him in Dokkan. Majin Vegeta, Great Ape Vegeta, Vegeta and Trunks, Goku and Vegeta, it never ends!
He gets a lot of cards but they suck, especially when released along with a goku counterpart. He's only good in cards that pair him with goku, and trunks in one instance.

That was nearly a year ago and it sucked on release. On the other hand, Legends got LF Gohan like 2 years ago now and he's still relevant and being ran alongside Beast Gohan. There's another Future Gohan in the game that people also still run for his support abilities from time to time that is probably next in line for a Zenkai.

The reviews are WRONG! The Callisto Protocol is a misunderstood MASTERPIECE. The game oozes atmosphere like no other. The in-your-face combat filters out the social gamers amazingly. This expeirence is one I WILL complete. Much better than Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok
The SS3 Baba shop Goku EZA looks like shit you'd just use for an EZA Area but the f2p brats are actually decent for events they can dodge in, it looks like.

It has been clear since day one that these LRs are little more than trophies for completing the content. Same with the ones you get from SBR, they're pretty to look at and that's it. Like you said, you already summoned for good units to be able to beat the content in the first place so you were never going to actually use the reward.
I would if they were good for harder content but bf is clearly not the stepping stone that it could be. Kind of like the prime battle LRs that aren't worth the grind either. Basically this game's "progression" is all over the place, if it can even be called that since newbies just skip to endgame by summoning on powercreep.

Nah, it depends on your box like everything else.. Annis and DL celebrations are the banners everyone puts a thousand stones into each time anyway and they come back consistently, so you have lots of chances to actually pull them.

Most of the summon animations have literally never meant anything and acting like they do is just setting yourself up for disappointment. If you don't get the blue sky, Zeno or Whis, you didn't get anything good. Even Vegito is shit no matter what color his hair is.

That's why the Bee Pan stage is technically the best stage for link leveling the game, only problem is that you can only do it once a week and there's still always a chance you won't get any link levels.

That was debunked a while ago. Multipliers are loosely based on stamina cost and difficulty, but it's not 1:1 every time, rather they assign rates individually. Turtle school training for example has a much better rate than Bee Pan.

That banner was very obviously not worth a single stone from the get go aside from 17/18 who could just be coined. Zamasu kind of with all the teal coin bullshit, but Legendary banners were never something to go deep in even after the boost to 3 LRs.

Yamcha has more going on in his kit, but he's also very RNG reliant whereas Bardock is a reliable rock with the utility to delete layers of RNG and mitigate 3 attempts bullshit as a result.

I'm not sold on this. Aside from that LR being mid, the one good piccolo (stretchy) runs on movie heroes, as will naranja, along with the good gokus. Yamcha himself is not on any relevant category missions, so he's just a general super lead, but doesn't cover vegeta pairings. Hell, for some reason androids aren't under WROE. I see him as a gamble on an earthlings and saiyan saga glow up.
int and phy as a rotation should be very solid. As for the categories, Bardock's lead is very good but redundant while Yamcha's is mostly a new niche. Category missions will come.
If they don't release LR INT Zamasu for part 2, they will probably mix two DFEs among Kid Goku, Bardock, and Yamcha with LR Golden Frieza and LR INT Zamasu

The way they handled EZA Boujack is actually pretty ingenious. At a couple dupes under a double 170% lead like LR Cooler with just BBB/Thirst for Conquest, and no support, he can hit 400k def after super and reach a 6.5 million atk stat, which is solid right now. Then when they decide to update another Hera Clan unit (probably WT Boujack in the next 6 months), he'll shoot up to like 600k def and 9 million atk which will keep up with 8th anni powercreep. He'd look even better too under a full 200%.

What are your serious opinions in the current state of the game.
I honestly think the game is fricking awful right now and will probably be unfun for a long while since it will take forever for units, both dfe and regular ones, to be able to beat those events reliably without having to be with a fully rainbowed lvl10 team.

Don't even get me started on the fricking ezas they have been releasing either, they have been doing such a poor job with those they are probably considering a second form of eza.
Every day I just log in, do the dailies / missions and spend the rest of my stamina on lvl quest using the auto clicker on my phone.
Really, the only major differences between Red Zone now and say Pure Saiyans or Movie Bosses ESBR at release are the massive limiting of items and attempts. All they'd have to do to bring things back to how they have been is simply remove attempt limits, forget even allowing more items since powercreep no longer necessitates so many.
As for EZAs, I don't see any issue except really egregious cases like the Baba shop Angelku.
I beat everything besides cell max category missions, with mostly 55% and a few 69 and 79. Most weren't fully linked either. Unironically skill issue.

I had a good powerful comeback team able to beat 99% of the content and was completely inable to beat redzone broly despite my various tries. Got 55% v/t with nearly the same team and low diffed the entire event. Duped 7th anni with coins and the 69% version gets assraped by omega shenron despite being the unit clearly meant to counter it. The powercreep is out of this world and the fact that redzone wasn't an outlier but rather the new standard (proven by cell max and "advantageous units" is fricking stupid. Remember when gods of destruction event was the hardest of the hard?

I think the only problem is that makes sense on paper but they're on banners that are filled with 5-10 featured units. Your chances to get them are pretty low.
You have many chances to get them in 6 months but your chances to get them then are low.
They're also 10x better with dupes so coining your first copy is fine since coining a dupe is taboo.

I remember people being very impressed with agl metal coolers animations when he dropped. But tbh, dokkan hasn't really improved much with animations since then. 5th year gogeta's animations were a step forward with shit like cgi but it seems like that was a one-off thing as it was never done again
Like I said, compare it to what was considered normal around 5th anni. Even Ultimate Gohan who no one had an issue with at the time is still a bit worse than Kid Goku.
Here's another way to put it. Fluid animations were extremely standout a couple years ago and most units had one or 2 really good looking shots mixed in with almost sprite level in betweens tying it together. Now, fluid animations are semi-common and the worst we get is choppy movements that are still made of lots of good looking key frames.

After Cell, it is easier to just assume everyone is using SS2 unless stated otherwise. It's also usually not stated that they're using SS2 either but why wouldn't they be since it's the superior/perfected Super Saiyan form. The distinction is only really important when it comes to Gohan because for a lot of Super he literally can't go SS2 anymore and it's a big deal when he does.

Lately I have been playing Legends way more than Dokkan, in fact I think it has been well over a week since I last opened either version of it because there has been no fricking content. However, that is only because Legends basically forces you to. If you don't login AND do dailies every single day, you miss out on a ton of shit whether there's actual content or not. While I am definitely playing Legends way more, I still don't respect it as much as I do Dokkan. I will always appreciate that Dokkan does not fall into the standard mobile game traps even though it easily could. This is the only mobile game I've ever played where I don't feel like I'm being held hostage with a gun to my head every second I go without spending money.

Burst Mode works similar to Chain Battle in that once the event is over you're given rewards based on your score and the relative location of otherse scores.

Buddy, if people didn't get banned for literally glitching the game via airplane mode - something you intentionally had to do - then they're not going to ban people over something that many players will accidentally do just to see how strong that vegeta can get.
At the absolute most they'll just nullify any score that are maxxed since it's statistically impossible to complete on GLB right now without that bug. If you're worried, do a max score run, then do a max-10 score run.

Requiring someone that you can only run with a Cell Saga leader which limits the team you can make, AND it's fricking android 16 who will probably never have a good unit unless they decide to give him a god tier dokkanfest. But the tragedy in that is that even if they give him a Dokkanfest unit and it's even better than Yamcha or the Gammas, his team will more than likely be limited to Androids anyway.

Most units with DR have it based on your HP being above a certain threshold.
HV Goku has DR that's based on having your HP BELOW a certain threshold. Which makes him very dangerous to use in fights that go on more than 5 turns.
I have him rainbowed and barely use him because he's such a liability. He's absolutely not a top tier unit, in the same way that agl or teq GF are not top tier units just because they ahve 80-90% DR.

I have been playing for 4 years (originally I started in 2017 but I stopped playing and when I moved from ios to android I couldn't get my account back) so from 2018 to now I have 40 lrs, which means I've gotten a total of 10 lrs per year.
I have around 30? dfes too but I grouped banner units with them so I can't tell for sure I just used the special sticker thing to see.
Either way that means I've gotten 7.5 dfes per year.
Not sure what everyone else's numbers are but I can't complain at all.

There is now a hidden "power levell" value assigned to each friendleader based on SA, stats and passives, and the game choses a leader for you based on that and your own leader skill. (so sometimes it might give you a great unit but with an unfitting leader)
Also now the latest chosen friend lead (specifically for that stage, I think) is remembered by the game and stays in the list so you can use him over and over.

I went all in on the SS4 banners in 2020 and the God Trunks banner in 2021 because at the time both of those teams were god tier.
But the 2022 Heroes units we knew were dogshit from the jump.
The only thing I can see doing is the discount summons on the EZA banner since the 2022 Heroes EZAs were drastically better than the actually featured banner units.
Heroes have cleared every final Red Zone and Cell Max, and I'm working on those clears myself for fun.
I have no idea why people are still calling them shit.

Like you mention a large portion of their kits rely on having other crossover or hero units.
But the saiyan units can fit well in those categories.
the part I hate the most is how the SS4s specifically need super class and hearts specifically needs extreme, so you basically need to make either a full super class DBH team or a full extreme class DBH team, can't mix and match or the 200% get nerfed big time especially Goku
Lbs and hearts only need attacking allies to be the same class, so you can keep two opposites on a different rotation as long as the floaters match the passive you want. So for example I could throw GS3 on hearts' team as long as i keep them separated.
but doing that means hearts needs to get hit 5 times to transform and you have to wait for turn 5
also having rotations where Goku doesn't have access to his damage reduction is terrible for him
Hearts is a slot 1 anyway before tf. That's why i said floaters would match the passive you want, so the one or two extremes on goku's team would always be on their own rotation.
having an extreme rotation on Goku's team means you will have at least 1 Goku off rotation so he will show up on that extreme rotation and be vulnerable
You might want to hold off since there is a ticket banner with Vegeta/Trunks coming.

Damn dudes, I'm really starting to not like this game. Used to be fun and now it feels like I've been an idiot to have played for such a long time. I've played through most of the game missions but these new ones are something else. Like wtf is red zone so damn bad? I've been playing since 2018 and have most every unit from the past 4 years save for last year's as I won't spend crazy cash on every banner unit.
The units have been powercrept completely and utterly even from last year. I am stunned that units from 2020 are completely unviable for most new events, they only slap for maybe 2-3 mil with the right partners and link levels, their defence is fricking abysmal in this new era of "just have high defence all the time or get smacked with 800k and instantly lose). Flying by the seat of your pants taking 150k on a special and 30k on a normal to skirt by a challenging event using 2 hp heal skills was engaging and a great time. All these units from a few years ago could be used and if you were missing a unit that would be good for the team they usually had a 140/140 extreme z awakened option that WASN'T garbage the afternoon it came out.
Now I don't even wanna summon as a globalgay either because every banner has blown dick and even the dragon ball pedroes banner is kinda ass. There's no reason these dudes for all the power creep shouldn't be slamming 7-8 mil at 55% considering they have 1 time they're useful.

Former legends player here and I have to say I love how this game craps on future Gohan every chance it gets. Legends overwanks him like he's the most important character in the series but I like how dokkan keeps him an irrelevant b***h just like he is in the show.

That was nearly a year ago and it sucked on release. On the other hand, Legends got LF Gohan like 2 years ago now and he's still relevant and being ran alongside Beast Gohan. There's another Future Gohan in the game that people also still run for his support abilities from time to time that is probably next in line for a Zenkai.
EZA Future Gohan is great alongside Vegeta/Trunks and the LR is just waiting for a tough str stage to show his worth.

Like you said, you already summoned for good units to be able to beat the content in the first place so you were never going to actually use the reward.

Nah, it depends on your box like everything else.. Annis and DL celebrations are the banners everyone puts a thousand stones into each time anyway and they come back consistently, so you have lots of chances to actually pull them.

Most of the summon animations have literally never meant anything and acting like they do is just setting yourself up for disappointment. If you don't get the blue sky, Zeno or Whis, you didn't get anything good. Even Vegito is shit no matter what color his hair is.

All of the new quest stages are equally good for link leveling because the biggest factor is how much stamina is used. That's why the Bee Pan stage is technically the best stage for link leveling the game, only problem is that you can only do it once a week and there's still always a chance you won't get any link levels.

29-3 is 4 fights, but yes for auto unless you want to farm blue gems instead of green, which has its own 4 fight option.

That was debunked a while ago. Multipliers are loosely based on stamina cost and difficulty, but it's not 1:1 every time, rather they assign rates individually. Turtle school training for example has a much better rate than Bee Pan.

Yamcha has more going on in his kit, but he's also very RNG reliant whereas Bardock is a reliable rock with the utility to delete layers of RNG and mitigate 3 attempts bullshit as a result.

He could definitely use some passive additional chance, but the great def raise and super-effective crits ensure that he'll still do good damage and tank well without it.
I'm not sold on this. Aside from that LR being mid, the one good piccolo (stretchy) runs on movie heroes, as will naranja, along with the good gokus. Yamcha himself is not on any relevant category missions, so he's just a general super lead, but doesn't cover vegeta pairings. Hell, for some reason androids aren't under WROE. I see him as a gamble on an earthlings and saiyan saga glow up.
Z bardock isn't on movie heroes though
int and phy as a rotation should be very solid. As for the categories, Bardock's lead is very good but redundant while Yamcha's is mostly a new niche. Category missions will come.

The way they handled EZA Boujack is actually pretty ingenious. At a couple dupes under a double 170% lead like LR Cooler with just BBB/Thirst for Conquest, and no support, he can hit 400k def after super and reach a 6.5 million atk stat, which is solid right now. Then when they decide to update another Hera Clan unit (probably WT Boujack in the next 6 months), he'll shoot up to like 600k def and 9 million atk which will keep up with 8th anni powercreep. He'd look even better too under a full 200%.

I honestly think the game is fricking awful right now and will probably be unfun for a long while since it will take forever for units, both dfe and regular ones, to be able to beat those events reliably without having to be with a fully rainbowed lvl10 team.

Don't even get me started on the fricking ezas they have been releasing either, they have been doing such a poor job with those they are probably considering a second form of eza.
Every day I just log in, do the dailies / missions and spend the rest of my stamina on lvl quest using the auto clicker on my phone.
I beat everything besides cell max category missions, with mostly 55% and a few 69 and 79. Most weren't fully linked either. Unironically skill issue.

Really, the only major differences between Red Zone now and say Pure Saiyans or Movie Bosses ESBR at release are the massive limiting of items and attempts. All they'd have to do to bring things back to how they have been is simply remove attempt limits, forget even allowing more items since powercreep no longer necessitates so many.
As for EZAs, I don't see any issue except really egregious cases like the Baba shop Angelku.

My only problem with Red Zone (excluding the new DB Heroes one) is the 3 attempts a day limit. SBR, ESBR, Battlefield, Infinite Dragon Ball History, Fighting Legends, Cell Max, etc all don't have this restriction
I'd love to run weaker teams or unconventional ones, but it's not worth when after 3 runs, you have to wait until reset to try again
After all these years, I finally started doing the old hard content. I just finished all the missions for LGE, done the first 20 SBR.
It's still pretty fun for me. But I also still haven't touched any of the hard challenges. I only got SBR LR Gohan last month.
I had a good powerful comeback team able to beat 99% of the content and was completely inable to beat redzone broly despite my various tries. Got 55% v/t with nearly the same team and low diffed the entire event. Duped 7th anni with coins and the 69% version gets assraped by omega shenron despite being the unit clearly meant to counter it. The powercreep is out of this world and the fact that redzone wasn't an outlier but rather the new standard (proven by cell max and "advantageous units" is fricking stupid. Remember when gods of destruction event was the hardest of the hard?

animations and OSTs you really love above all else, but then just some random DFE you couldn't get your hands on when they first released like 17/18 or Ginyu. It gets impulsive when you start buying way faster than you're building up coins.
Also, DDF units specifically are a poor investment for the reasons I first stated.
I think the only problem is that makes sense on paper but they're on banners that are filled with 5-10 featured units. Your chances to get them are pretty low.
You have many chances to get them in 6 months but your chances to get them then are low.
They're also 10x better with dupes so coining your first copy is fine since coining a dupe is taboo.
On one hand, that's fair if your pulls are consistently empty. On the other hand...
Super 17 is actually an amazing investment at half cost.
I have int cell at 55%, that gohan at 69 and the buu at 69% too. The only character I've had dupes over and over is ss4 lr goku and str vegito

Things have improved since 5th year overall. Compare int Angelku or Kaioken Blue to phy Kid Goku who's considered subpar by modern standards.

Like I said, compare it to what was considered normal around 5th anni. Even Ultimate Gohan who no one had an issue with at the time is still a bit worse than Kid Goku.
Here's another way to put it. Fluid animations were extremely standout a couple years ago and most units had one or 2 really good looking shots mixed in with almost sprite level in betweens tying it together. Now, fluid animations are semi-common and the worst we get is choppy movements that are still made of lots of good looking key frames.

After Cell, it is easier to just assume everyone is using SS2 unless stated otherwise. It's also usually not stated that they're using SS2 either but why wouldn't they be since it's the superior/perfected Super Saiyan form. The distinction is only really important when it comes to Gohan because for a lot of Super he literally can't go SS2 anymore and it's a big deal when he does.
Why is Legends only now choosing to call this Trunks SS2? I'm pretty sure the first blu one and the LL are both just SS.

Lately I have been playing Legends way more than Dokkan, in fact I think it has been well over a week since I last opened either version of it because there has been no fricking content. However, that is only because Legends basically forces you to. If you don't login AND do dailies every single day, you miss out on a ton of shit whether there's actual content or not. While I am definitely playing Legends way more, I still don't respect it as much as I do Dokkan. I will always appreciate that Dokkan does not fall into the standard mobile game traps even though it easily could. This is the only mobile game I've ever played where I don't feel like I'm being held hostage with a gun to my head every second I go without spending money.

Burst Mode works similar to Chain Battle in that once the event is over you're given rewards based on your score and the relative location of otherse scores.
Buddy, if people didn't get banned for literally glitching the game via airplane mode - something you intentionally had to do - then they're not going to ban people over something that many players will accidentally do just to see how strong that vegeta can get.
At the absolute most they'll just nullify any score that are maxxed since it's statistically impossible to complete on GLB right now without that bug. If you're worried, do a max score run, then do a max-10 score run.

You don't really even need to worry where the KK Goku ends up because you'll have over 3 million HP and the Vegeta can't do that much damage in 3 turns even against a bunch of Rs and SRs at level 1.

I'm just spit balling, but I think they may be applying the Burst buffs to everything that isn't your team.
And since the friend leader isn't technically part of "your team" it's getting the same buffs.
