thief and spearhand are so obviously fricking busted it's wild that the devs thought they were ok
thief is just literally invincible whilst having the highest damage output
spearhand can make the entire party invincible with very little stamina expenditure

Literally only one ability, otherwise it's mid-tier damage at best. That being said the game is too easy no matter what build you're using. The only issues I have as warrior is against Drakes and that's because if you get hit once you're stunlocked until you die.
Thief's damage output is too busted considering you get the passive skill you need for it to be busted from level 1, while other vocations with similar "mash attack to kill" skill like Fighter's repeated stabs and Mystic Spearhand's spin to win that you can only get at higher levels do shit damage in comparison, they should be buffed to do similar damage output at least.

Wayfarer is the best vocation for one simple reason. you can totally ignore the weapon swap skill and play it like a base vocation because wayfarer gets access to ALL armor in the game regardless of the vocation restriction on the gear.
I find Spearhand boring as frick and I have it at rank 6, but I gotta admit that it's stats are the highest out of anything else I have right now, like my Thief is rank 9 with 400 STR and Spearhand with the best spear I can buy currently would have 500 STR, so at least 100+ more STR on a rank 6 vocation VS a rank 9 vocation with the same best dagger I have access to right now.
In terms of kit though I think Spearhand is really lame compared to Thief, so that's what sucks about it. It has a shit kit with better stats. Thief is just more fun to play. I'm also really disappointed in how boring and weak they made Sorcerer compared to the first game. It feels so lame now.
Magick Archer looks fun, shame it's an Arisen only vocation, and I'm excited to try out Warfarer, haven't unlocked it yet though. Right now I agree that Thief and Spearhand are probably high tier, just wish Spearhand wasn't so weird/lame, not nearly as fun as Mystic Knight. It's like a DEX version of Mystic Knight with a worse kit.
spearhand is cool I wish it had more aerial movement shit built into its kit like a dragoon. that dive skill should go higher and disable fall damage or some shit. should be able to combo in midair like its dmc. Magic throwing someone away, hitting them with your r1 and teleporting right back to them and doing a diving triangle finisher makes me cum every time. great addition I almost don't mind MK being gone

What makes warrior pawns good? They just whiff everything and are worse tanks than fighters.
