With everything presented, it's hard for me to think that those nine aren't it. Except for the coloring on trickster. It it'd been green/blue, I'd have no doubt. But I have no idea what to make of it's colors. Having hybrid colors without matching base vocations is beyond bizarre.

Seems fine to me. Yellow vocations were too similar and too versatile in the first game, so it makes sense to tern them all into ranger/thief. As for mystic knight I never like its playstyle and Spearhand looks fun so I'm not personally effected by it.

So I'm playing DD for the first time ever. Is it normal to feel like I broke the game/skipped quests by going straight to some places? I just've learned that I've skipped a dungeon kinda when running from the prison in Dutchess in DIstress - I just used two skeleton keys she gave me and followed my ears to find a hole in the wall, yet it turns out you can escort her and kill a ton of guards.

There's a few scenarios where you can complete quests in ways that just make sense, even if they're not the "proper" way. The issue really is that the game usually doesn't acknowledge it, maybe Itsuno had different cutscenes and shit planned but had to cut them.

I enjoyed it before I but the story is confusing. I get the main idea, but sometimes I feel like I scrolled through dialog or something.
The presentations for this game have been bad in general. I've never followed capcom news before, I'm not sure if this is standard or exceptionally bad. Like the only moves I can say they've done well were the initial reveal and letting people post videos of their demo footage. That random assortment of footage in japanese and german did a thousand times more for hyping this game up than any of the showcases they've done.
it's a support class that makes enemies fight each other, use illusions to confuse or stun them, buff pawns to do more damage, seems like you can create illusions like a smoke wall or bridge that enemies think is real but isn't, not sure.

I've always found it weird that gransys had powder but no firearms of any kind, maybe they could have had cannons but we never really saw any siege equipment anywhere. Are powder abilities even still in? I feel like with the talos bit they might be leaning into a more greek direction.
