What are we thinking of the new fatigue system?
can your team be attacked while resting?
It's great, no more spamming herbs to go up to full health, though I then wonder what's the point of curative magick, it seems that both anodyne and curatives can heal up to the same now.
It seems much better now.
not really a fan of losing max health just by going through fights, although I don't mind the focus on resting/camping with your squad.
Seems like the "pause to spam herbs" stuff is still there, which is something I hoped would change.
Great addition that kills two birds with one stone. It helps make potion spamming less effective, and also puts more emphasis on planning your adventures outside of towns/cities. I still wish they would have made healing items heal over time instead of being instantaneous, but it's still a good change.
Fixes one of the the biggest problems the original had.
This somewhat counteracts to heal spam flaw in DD1.
I think it's a cool and relatively fresh way to do the whole "long planned out trips that you need to plan for" thing that games have only been able to do in the past with shit like nonstop random encounters.
It reminds it of Strain odyssey where you have to have better gear, characters and skills to delve deeper and deeper.
It gives a great sense of accomplishment.
Etrian*
That's what I had in mind, but I genuinely hate random encounters despite liking turn based RPGs so this version of that idea is a welcome change in my eyes.
dropped
It works great in Outward so unless they frick it up it will work well here
dinput8.dll will solve this quite easily
That's cheating!
It's good as it encourages camping, but camping only being possible in pre-determined spots is shit. They should let us make camp where we choose as long as conditions are met, i.e there's enough flat space and no enemies are nearby.
Should make party composition more important. All Melee party will be more at risk of needing to stop too often to be efficient, since taking damage is all but guaranteed.
Seems necessary to get around removal of pause healing whilst maintaining the aspect of having to pack for a journey. I only hope the world is big enough to warrant it.
>I only hope the world is big enough to warrant it.
Itsuno promised 4x times the size.
How many times have we been burned by stuff like that being said though. Either way, its a good way to make food and preparedness a part of the game still, rather than just have them be super weak healing items, since you now heal via a quick item menu rather than pause screen, the healing items are stronger, but once you have that gray damage you will need to rest eventually, so its preferential to just avoid damage entirely rather than just cram as much healing items as possible after tanking everything.
I like it. Gives you those real adventure vibes of deciding whether to stop or keep going.
It seem to me thag this pretty much force to battle once, return to inn or camp, fight again, return to inn or camp and so on.
Sounds like a bandaid to the heal spam from the first game, but ultimately will just add more downtime and tedium.
Its shit like weapon durability people will get tired of having to rest and not exploring the world imagine having to return to a fricking inn every 20 minutes
there're already two but sure, we can have a 3rd one
Is the healing system still fricked?
Seems like it. As far as I can see the only difference is now your max HP will decrease until you rest at an inn, but you can still instant heal. Healing spells are like before.
Nothing changed, I wonder why they went this way. I would've preferred something like MH.
>I would've preferred something like MH.
Agreed. The healing/item system makes no sense with the game's mechanics.
>vocation determines hp growth
>healing magic is slow to cast with slow regen
>reviving pawns leaves you vulnerable for some time(instant in dd1)
>loss gauge encourages you to take it slow
There is an emphasis throughout the game on the decisions you make, and how they impact your journey, both short and long term. The fact you can instantly heal is crazy. Having to pause in order to do so is another issue.
Yeah, we're still menuing to eat kingwarish and drink potions. They already put crafting into the game, could have done something like Monster Hunter instead. Literally the only thing that looks bad to me so far.
I can't tell if some animations are straight up ripped from DD1, or remade to look identical.
heard end of the struggle there and cant wait to frick shit up with that playing again
>what if we made monster hunter but bad
It looks exactly like DD1 minus the better graphics.
The Ogre battle is everything I expected and wanted from the game (minus the IGN shitter playing like garbage of course)
>minus the IGN shitter playing like garbage of course
Still and improvement from whatever this was
How? Just... HOW!?
Journalist.
But IGN are professionals, this can't be right...
kek i remember this and shouting at the screen
Where do they get these guys?
This reminds me of that GTA online webm where the guy keeps getting hit in the most ridiculous ways in the airplane hangar
I haven't seen that in years. That shit brought me to tears.
WOOOOOOW DOOD WHU HAPPEN, NOTHING I COULD DO
Should I be concerned that journo didn't bring a woman to the ogre fight?
I don't think you should worry.

Some small glimmer of hope. I want to be able to do something without doing s fricking double spin first this shit isnt cool any time after the age of 10. Should be a single dagger with punches, kicks and brief grappling.
My guess is there's going to be some shared mechanics between DD2 and the new MH game, so thief probably has some duel sword animations. MH borrowed some stuff from DD after all.
>no reverse grip in left and conventional in right

LET'S FRICKING GOOOOOO
I think there's something "missing" in terms of environmental effects, like haze etc that could help cover some of the low poly looking vistas. Like the second scene in that webm, the distant grass hill looks really basic/ps4
Could use some subtle DOF to hide the low detail stuff.
>low poly
None of it is low poly. Some of it just looks shitty because of TAA or FSR or whatever the frick they're doing. The promo high res screens they've posted to twitter look much better.
>I want games to look more hazy
There it is. The worst take that has ever been made on Ganker.
Where's that from?
Lads... will this finally be the game that gives us that adventure feel?
LOOK AT THOSE VISTAS
We're on our way home, adventure bros
I miss the reverse grip
e-girl cats
So heal spam is fixed, but what about periapts and blast arrows?
there's this item in the game that looks like some kind of periapt. we've also already seen special arrows, but I'm not sure about blast arrows
seems they're aiming to make late game consumables more available early on.
I think it's probably more of a demo thing.
I hope they cut down on the number of items that do the exact same thing
I fully expect a hundred +HP items because its a Japanese game. They love their items in RPGs.
I'm buying the discounted series x for this fricking game.
Frick sake.
£360
what vocation do you want added, anons?
Ranger and duelist
Where's the frick martial art vocation ?
RE Engine made this game look like shit.
morons who don't know anything about engines are some of the worst posters on Ganker.
Sure bro it's all a coincidence that every single RE Engine game looks like shit.
They don't look like shit at all. You're just an idiot.
yeah nice cherrypicked webm shill
>posting collages made by a literal moron who doesn't know anything about engines or colors
Absolute subhuman moron.
Mad AND stupid? I pity your mother.
I really don't understand what you're trying to say.
When you try to shitpost, you should aim for the lowest common denominator.
>left: screenshots taken during combat
>right: screenshots of absolutely nothing happening, two of them taken in the same place for some reason
The majority of shots in the left are during combat. It's just that you can't tell due to how exceedingly dull DMC5 looked.
>The majority of shots in the left are during combat.
Assuming you meant to say right, I count one screenshot that has combat.
the guy who made this admitted to not finishing DMC5 or being aware that its contrast levels vary in different areas (e.g. the first two Urizen fights having much higher than those cherrypicked shots on the right). pretty sure he doesn't even like DMC1 either.
You may be surprised to find out that we can use far more colours now than we could on the PS2.
Hyper contrast isn't exactly necessary now.
can't wait anymore aaaaaaa
Ok, so first reaction: Wow, that is bad.
Fighter
If your npcs get all the agro and you just run around hitting air you still win the fight easily...Why do you even fight if the battle gets decided without the player?
The cyclone spawn is kinda clunky, but ok. Ah, a random explosive barrel just happens to be in the forest, randomly ignites by being thrown and the resulting water splash knocks out the troll but not our NPC allies. The water knows it was released by the player and as such friendly fire rules apply. Weird.
The NPCs finish of the troll while the player stumbles around on its back not contributing anything.
Thief
Again cyclone doesnt react to the player climbing on his face or back. or stabbing hin on his neck. Most damage is done while the cyclone is knocked down, which isn't because of the player.
Difference to fighter is minimal.
Warrior
more of the same. PLayer is around, NPCs do the work. Enemy doesn't really react to the characters but simply starts random attack animations.
After a while the enemy starts to body slam the player. First time we see an enemy targeting something.
random trader shows up and just stands in the center of a fight between a burning monster and some randoms like its Monday morning traffic on the highway and he already has enough of the work week and just wants to go home.
I do not see what it is that knocks the monster down but it seems to be the default tactic for all of them.
Again just more random walking around by the enemey just makes it feel stupid.
Sorcerer
The effects look good. and seem to do significantly more damage then other classes.
Carrying dead allies to safety looks good, throwing their bodies around hopefully wasn't intended 🙂
Sometimes the actions of the allies is just as random and stupid as the movement of the enemy.
And we finish with some clipping in the trees.
In total: Looks like another golum like game with better graphics. I'm going to drop if from my wishlist.
Your post is literally irrefutable btw
why would you copy and paste a r*ddit comment
Warrior is saved, insta buy
>5 skills instead of 7
They just HAD to.
Hopefully you can get the whole 7.
Looks as mid as the first game.
I just noticed that I haven't enjoyed a single Capcom RE Engine game. They feel like westernslop for some reason.
>for some reason
you're on Ganker and you use terms like "westernslop".
the reason is you're a Gankertarded lemming that gets all your opinions from Ganker.
>shitposters can't break people by shitting on the game so they move to shitting on the engine in a desperate attempt instead
The game looks like a lazy DD1 rehash but this time with uglier graphics.
You're welcome to leave any time
>but this time with uglier graphics.
You haven't played DD.
>You can actually see the ground
Looks fine to me
I love how in this cherrypicked image, it still shows greater vibrancy than the dull, lifeless ass DD2 ever could. Can't believe this shit looks worse than a PS3 game released over a DECADE ago.
everything you say is wrong
>cherrypicked
This is the second time you've called something I've posted cherrypicked when both are things I've capped during normal gameplay. How fricking stupid do you have to be to post horribly compressed PS5 footage and pretend the game looks bad?
Nice. Yet another Capcom RE Engine game where it looks like downtown London most of the time.
The only problem I have is the blurry as frick grass and the ambient light. Ambient lighting is fricking ugly even if it's more "realistic"
There's a lot of ghosting which I assume is either from TAA or FSR, I think this game will look quite bad on consoles, at least on PC you can turn that shit off.
It's TAA. This is likely console footage which doesn't use FSR but the RE engines own upscaling equivalent that's similar to checkerboarding.
It's actually pretty good and compares well to AMD & Nvidias upscaling models, but yeah the TAA blurring on top of it isn't great.
>turn off TAA
>you can count pixels on hair and foliage
why do they keep doing it
It must be easier to make that stuff with TAA in mind, that's my guess.
And to be fair, TAA stuff can look good if your resolution is really high and you've got high frames, that's just how temporal effects work.
It's like shadows for old games being super pixelated to save performance. Except now they just smear everything in shit to hide it.
The blurriness is 100% from FSR on the PS5 version trying to hold up the framerate. We're not going to see what the game actually looks like until we can play it on PC.
RE engine doesn't use FSR on console. It has its own native upscaling method it uses. The blurring is the TAA that's also applied, shame they still haven't improved it from previous RE games.
MH Rise looking like absolute shit wasn't entirely Switch's fault after all. Jesus Christ
Looks like that shitty starting area in Rise
Why is this piece of shit engine so allergic to any semblance of vibrance?
>allergic to any semblance of vibrance?
Why are morons allergic to knowing anything about how engines handle color?
The collagegay is a well documented art and tech illiterate moron. I hope you're not him and are just some shitposters who happened to save his images.
Even with the colors set to maximum, it still looks dull and desaturated.
Here's your RE Engine btw that shills claim saved Capcom.
>4 looks like shit
>6 looks like shit
>5 looks good
Did they accidentally make a good game just to go back to making shit?
that's capcom's choice. They try to look as western as possible to appeal to a wider audience. Do you think they put colorful models in and the engine decides to reduce the saturation by itself? The devs want it to look that way. Do you think unity or godot can only make colorful games? or unreal can only do drab scenery? The engine isn't the only thing that capcom games have in common (hint it's the people that work in the company)
>Why are morons allergic to knowing anything about how engines handle color?
It's not that the engine handles the color, it's that the lighting from the engine washes out any of the color that was set before the terrible lighting was thrown on top.
I have no idea why Capcom had to ditch MT Framework in favor of this ugly trainwreck. I'm guessing it all comes down to efficiency.
Don't touch them.
wtf is this really a thing?
Yeah, they're pretty obvious about it when a new game releases. Not smart people.
Look out! He's dumping his whole anti-RE engine folder!
>his
ITS MAAM YOU TRUMPTARD
Discord Black folk are absolutely SEETHING itt. They must be angry that they didn't get to start the thread by saying this is Dragon's Dogma 1.2. Equal parts hilarious and embarrassing. I can't wait to see them shit their pants when this game comes out and is a smash hit.
>implying Capcom shills aren't Discord coordinated
lmao
Game is looking amazing i can't wait, i know not to preorder but this is everything i've dreamt of.
Only thing that i still don't understand is how they couldn't add multiplayer, this would be a fricking blast to play with a party of friends but they decided to stick with the singleplayer only approach.
You're not a real fan if you're asking why they kept it single player.
Your Discord account has been promoted to Gold status for that shilling.
Totally organic hype bros!
I wonder just how much corporate dick you love to suck to deny the inherent problems of RE Engine and how it has ruined so many Capcom games now.
Yeah I can't believe how washed out and desaturated RE Engine games look.
Are you baiting now? This looks like trash.
Yes fellow game player and not third world shitposting moron anon, that picture definitely shows a lack of color inherent to the RE Engine. We have both definitely played RE Engine games.
I'm not a fan of aggressive color filters, but ReShade exists.
Reshade simply puts make-up on a pig.
Can't wait to turn off all that blurshit on PC. PS5 keks will truly be suffering.
are they planning on releasing a demo? I'll be real, the only reason I even considered DD originally was the demo it had.
Every Capcom game released in the last ~7 years had a demo about a month before release, it would be odd if DD2 didn't get one, but there's no confirmation yet.
Calling it now: Capcom have teamed with IGN for frequent news, videos and deep dives over the next month, and at the end of that the last thing IGN will announce in Feb is the demo.
I'm not sure about the IGN thing, but a demo in late February seems the most likely thing to happen, the original game had a demo a month before release, and many of their games since then have had a demo about a month before release.
>I'm not sure about the IGN thing,
That part is already confirmed. IGN is getting exclusive news and footage and shit for the entire month of January.
Oh, I understand why they would team up with IGN, but their journos are going to make the game look like shit, oh well.
you say that, but the normies are lapping it up despite the player being poor
discord sissies are still at it? they must be organizing in shifts or somezing
I think IGN journos are so bad that it's making the game look really bad. But I do have some problems with the game so far
From what we know:
>stat allocation is the same as the first game, which is awful (and without proper knowledge you can basically frick up your entire build)
hopefully it's at least explained better in game
>the "on hit" effects feel too flashy and bright imo
it was very hard to see what was going on when the thief was on the ogre attacking really fast with all the fire effects and the hit flash and the air shockwave effect, my eyes strained just watching it
>less armor slots
This is just weird and limits customization a lot when the first game already sort of had crappy customization because "new = better" in 99.99% of circumstances due to the way damage and armor was calculated
>player only vocations
This just seems to tell me that the game was rushed before they could figure out how to make the vocation work on the pawn which worries me for the rest of the game. A rushed game is never as good as it could be
>warrior still looks absurdly slow as frick
Could be IGN's fault due to not doing a single combo, but holy frick that gameplay was hard to watch
Either it's RE Engine making this game so unappealing or Itsuno really is as washed out and done as DMC5 hinted at.
Wtf, this game looks like Wales or some shit fr
Makes sense given that's where they location scouted.
I know, where are the cyberpunk lasers and fornite dances? how am I supposed to play a game if it doesn't blast confetti on the screen every 30 seconds??
Huh, I guess that does look similar.
It has elves
It's 50% Wales and 50% Iraq
>Ganker and reddit mad at the IGN player being bad
>meanwhile King Normie and his watchers absolutely loved it and cant wait to play it
This one man has more power to influence for DD2 than Ganker, reddit and discord combined, and he has chosen his side.
You mean he was paid off to act hyped in front of a camera?
paidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshillpaidshill
dude is filthy rich just from sitting his ass playing games, i dont think he needs it.
I can’t wait to play it and I think the IGN player was bad.
Rat face bastard was shitting on the journalist gameplay as well.
>Normie
Go back, you fricking normalgay doubleBlack person.
asmon's reaction already has more views than IGN's own video
kek
>He, DOOD and Cooh are going to carry this game on their backs
Our heroes.
>entire game seems more methodical and slower than DD1
>resting for loss gauge
>reviving pawns
>preparing for outings
Then why do we have instant 0-animation pause healing which seems to contradict this entire philosophy and makes the game a joke? Just another thing from the first game that this game isn't addressing at all.
Because most likely they set out on a vision but then hack Itsuno did some play tests and realized casual gamers were too stupid for this so he backpedaled. It has happened to near every game he has ever made.
There are hotkeys for healing items so you don't have to pause. No animations is to keep you in the action.
Just make it heal over time and make it heal slower than healing spells.
Because only Fromdrones and MHbabies get upset when there are no slow animation for item usage.
This is it's single greatest flaw. DDgays contradict themselves by being in favor of those but not real time healing.
Healing is limited by the loss gauge, item weight, and inventory. Pawn revivals were free instant heals on other characters that you could chain infinitely.
>Healing is limited by the loss gauge, item weight, and inventory.
Yes. Which means careful play, weight management, and party management are all very important. Your HP is even set by your class. Essentially your choices throughout the game are important, in both quick skirmishes and the long haul. This is true beyond healing.
In OP's gameplay, the player picks up the pawn in order to safely revive them. It's brilliant. I'm glad it's no longer safe to do. I just don't see how instant menu healing benefits a slow paced, and thoughtful game.
I'm still excited to play, but potions should at least be regen.
>I just don't see how instant menu healing benefits a slow paced, and thoughtful game.
Because there are already several limiting factors for your ability to heal with items. Pawn revives originally had no limits, but now require a little time while otherwise being unlimited. The game has balance but doesn't go out of its way to make every aspect of every action cumbersome.
>doesn't go out of its way to make every aspect of every action cumbersome.
>pause to heal
Good balance would be regen pots and the inability to heal while climbing. Even fast travel can be interrupted in DD2.
>pause to heal
You don't need to pause to heal. There are explicit shortcuts.
>check
>it's true
Didn't know they integrated it into the controls for DD2. I apologize.
>only for health, stamina, and lanterns
A marginal improvement to healing that does nothing to fix every other item. Just go a step further and make it into a custom bar. There is no downside to this.
You said
>pause to heal
and now you're saying
>only for health, stamina
I'm going to let you think for a minute about why that's fricking moronic.
You should be able to derive from my posts that I have issue with item use via menu. Well beyond healing. Shortcuts are for the 3 aforementioned uses and nothing else.
>You should be able to derive from my posts that the specific thing I brought up doesn't matter and I'm going to move the goalposts when convenient so I can pretend I still have a point
Even if we didn't still lack information on how the shortcuts and mapping work, you'd still be a moron.
Yeah, let me just make a new for to argue every single(related) flaw in the game. Stupid homosexual can't read between the lines.
>specific thing I brought up doesn't matter
I said it's a marginal improvement, and you fail to address every other point I've made. It's still shit and you have no argument.
>this thing sucks
>that thing literally doesn't work that way
>lol whatever read between the lines I actually meant this other thing
Just have a nice day.
>nooooo you have to make a new post to shit on that
I accept your concession
And I accept that I wasted time arguing with a redditor.
found this neat webm of you an Itsuno btw
>cyclops: pc gamers
>filthy hooman: sony games
>butthole: steam
>You can go anywhere
Toddsisters... our response?
Yeah some fanbois are in complete denial over this. "healing animations would take you out of the action... but pausing the menu multiple times during a tough fight which takes you out of the action far more is fine!!!"
>just use the quickslots!
That would be fine if the games crafting & menu system wasn't a cluttered mess. DD1 has about 500 variants of "restore some health" items which is just completely needless, and they end up spread through different menu sections, and you've only got 4 quick slots. They need to vastly cut down on all the pointless variants so you can simply make a load of low/medium/high health potions and slap them onto your quickslot
It doesn't seem like you enjoyed the first game, Anon.
>if you like something you have to enjoy everything and can't criticize the objectively badly designed parts!!!!
Frick off moron, I have hundreds of hours in DD. Just not an emotionally attached weirdo living in denial of its obvious flaws.
I like that to revive pawns you actually have to put some effort and leave yourself open to attacks, instead of the take my hand and get up that DD1 had
Do you think they’ll remove the item decay? I really hated having an inventory full of rotten meat and vegetables.
No. Sorcerer has an augment called Stasis which specifically slows down the rate of item decay.
No, thank god.
Still looks like a direct remake. Don't really care.
>tis a glad thing we have rested
Your post makes me unglad.
Is it me or does it look weirdly washed out?
It's not just you. It's been pointed out before but shills will jump at you for claiming it. Literally every RE Engine game has this problem.
It's not limited to RE engine. Every game nowadays is trying to use white hot ambient light in their game for "muh realistic lighting" while not adjusting the colors for their game, so everything looks extremely pale and washed out. I've seen it from capcom, from sony movie games, in fighting games, bethesda games, diablo 4, breath of the wild/totk, etc.
Compare GG Strive to GG XRD for example.
I really hate this globally generated shit that devs are relying on now. Frick this. Games looked so much better when lightning was pre-baked.
Baked lighting takes effort and developers are lazy c**ts and somehow mindbroke normalgays to accept this slop and praise it even though it looks like SHIT.
Take me back to the good old days. I don't want le day and night cycles. Bring back this shit.
Baked lightning can look great, but it's just doesn't make sense in an open world game with a day and night cycle like DD.
Stalker had a day and night cycle, but had manually crafted lighting with dynamic tonemapping. Much better than just tossing the stock standard engine lighting on top and calling it a day.
The one thing I do like about DD2's lighting is at night though, so I'll give it that.
>Stalker had a day and night cycle, but had manually crafted lighting with dynamic tonemapping.
Did it do this with all lighting modes? I remember that game having a static lighting mode and a dynamic lighting mode.
I wonder if they're washing out the colors to push for HDR memes.
Remove the colors to sell them later
>Literally every RE Engine game has this problem.
Except they don't and when you post color in RE Engine, moronic shitposters call it cherry picking.
It's not just you, that's just how Youtube butchers their videos, I think it'll look much nicer when one gets to see the game itself with the demo.
Shills said the same shit about literally every RE Engine prior to this too. Even the highly cherrypicked promo shots look washed out.
Black, green, brown, grey
>thief is lesser strider
Are we going to get a strider advanced vocation or are it's days numbered?
shovelware
watching morons try and play games is so painful
Compare Berserk 97 to Berserk 2016 if you don't understand what anon means when he says DD2 looks gross. Berserk 97 had dark colors, but there was still a frick load of that color. It had vibrant shades of red, bright blue skies, dark and gritty color, and everything in between. Then compare it to Berserk 2016, which is almost devoid of color. It's just dull dull dull muddy brown gross dull. Everything is muted and desaturated. It's disgusting.
That's how DD1 and DDO feel compared to DD2.
Every day Ganker gets more moronic
Fus. Ro. Dah.
*click*
Sorcerers can fly now. That's pretty cool.
Crapcom shills working overtime.
Our discord is stronger than yours
he says as he's in a thread (unpaid) shitposting about a game he hates (unpaid) losing hair over a company that doesn't even know he exists (unpaid)
who's really working overtime here
Yup. You can tell every time they get overly defensive over that shit fire engine.
Yeah, I hate modern engines that run efficiently and allow devs to make everything from fighting games to survival horror to open world adventure RPG. Let's pretend it looks like shit because a few morons who know less than nothing about colors, art, lighting and engines are posting shitty youtube clips and calling direct capture from games cherry picked.
Better than UE
>samegayging (unpaid)
which fricking troony discord is mad about this game
is it because this game actually has attractive women?
>is it because this game actually has attractive women?
They're called Type B now.
This is the fate of any popular game on Ganker, it must be shitposted to the point of running any thread and discussion.
>popular
You wish shill. The hype is dead since it looks like an uglier, rehashed version of DD1.
So the hype died, and no one gives a frick about this game, but yet you're here to shit on it? You seem pretty cool.
>The hype is dead
There have been daily threads since the announcement.
elden ring was fine
No it wasn't, it also got shitposting just like this, and shazam posting, most ER threads made these days still get plenty of shitposting.
>New game comes out with a shit ton of flaws
>Fanboys in full damage control
>No you're not allowed to shit on it because... you just can't okay
I wish they'd make a good games for a change
I'm not autistic so I don't go into threads of games I don't like to shit on them, I just play something else or browse threads of games I do like.
You can like something and still shit on it when the devs go full moron you know, it's called not being a NPC
That's understandable, but I'd say it's too early to shit on DD2 in particular, the game is not even out yet.
But you don't like anything.
DD2 hasn't come out yet.
I hope we get Mystic Knight
You'll get a Fighter with a Mage Pawn.
>the ogre has elden ring styled delayed attacks
Fricking why, the DD1 ogre was such a soulful enemy
>elden ring styled delayed attacks
Zoomers are disgraceful
demo when?
late February seems likely
>literally irrefutable
You discord sissies should stop using the same words all the time, it's pretty damn telling.
Also
>Replying to yourself when no one bothered to
kek
>muh discordtroons!
ROFL
>you use the same words!!!
Source? I want a peer reviewed source that shows another anon using the words “literally irrefutable” in a DD2 thread. Go on.
>replying to yourself
Hahaha… ahaha… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Uh, buddy… I’m *snickers*… I’m not that anon! AHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
>the troony has lost it
calm down
Not one post there says “literally irrefutable”
no but you trooned out the exact same way kek, pathetic.
>you all use the same words!!! you haters are all apart of a discord!!!!
Proof?
>uh…
>.
>.
>.
Ok…
im not the same guy who said anything about words, i just recognized your sperg out and decided to post what i know, you can deal with that anon about word usage, you're still a troon hwoever.
>thief wearing a closed plate helmet
Whats going on there. The armours looks sick though
The sorcerer is flat out wearing full plate armour, it seems that you can just wear whatever you want now, but its noted that some armour has more "slots" on them, so I imagine magic users would want to wear lighter stuff with more slots maybe? We dont actually know what the slots are even for, only that lighter armour has more of them.
Looks like plate over a robe. Wonder how that works.
underrated
I wanna get into the original before this, someone give me an easy mode guide. When I tried it for the first time many years ago I just found it super boring and dropped it a few hours in, but I want to try again.
There is no trick anon, the start of the game is regarded as pretty bad till you get to the hub city, but even then, if the combat and feel of the game isnt appealling before that point then its not going to improve that much even when it gets better.
Damn, it's a shame because I like the art direction of DD2. I'll still try the demo I think once it comes out.
It seems like the first game isn't for you, and I doubt the sequel would be different enough for you, better to stick with Elden Ring.
>When I tried it for the first time many years ago I just found it super boring
This is over half the player base. Most people dislike early game. Makes you wonder why they insist on demonstrating low level gameplay.
>guide
Strictly adhere to the main quest until reaching the hub city, Gran Soren.
Then loosely follow the main quest, branching out as you start enjoying the game.
If by then you don't enjoy it; quit.
thank you
One caveat, if you go to gran soren do NOT go to the pawn guild until you do a side quest in some witch place.
>I found it super boring and dropped it a few hours in
That is perfectly understandable, because you have to force yourself to like Dragon’s Dogma. There’s some systems in there that are really cool, but the game itself as a package is just a slog to play through. I recommend trying it again, but if you can’t get into that mindset of “I’m going to ignore all of the bad/boring parts” you’re probably going to end up dropping it not much further than you originally did.
There’s a reason the game wasn’t that popular to begin with.
>>I didn’t really like the first game but want to try it again, what should I do?
>FRICK YOU! It’s SUPPOSED to be bad! You’re SUPPOSED to just ignore the bad parts!
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the average DDgay.
I hope the game has some fun exploits that let you do cool things.
>you crawl around on the ground if you get ragdolled by some attacks now
Thats kind neat.
the music and voice acting sound horrific. proper soulless hollywood capeshit levels of bad. RIP capcom
it doesn't
What the FRICK was his problem?
Also frick that b***h Aelinore. That fricking b***h sold me out for no goddamn reason.
>There are anons in this thread RIGHT NOW who will completely ruin their first blind playthrough by playing the demo
SHAME!
I've waited for 10 years... I can't wait any more.
It's an RPG. There's a chance that some stuff carries over. It's also not ruining your blind playthrough if you play the demo itself blind.
They're barely showing anything new, they're clearly holding a bunch of shit back.
Assuming the demo will be like a newer version of what people have already played at events, the demo will still be letting you explore a load of the main games open world around the human capital.
They could of course make a special "demo area" so that' won't show the main game world, but that would a lot more work for them.
I gotta know how this thing will run on my pc, bro
and if the demo lets you create a character and later import it to the full game, it'll be a huge time saver
>I gotta know how this thing will run on my pc, bro
This. There's a 50/50 shot I upgrade my PC in between the time the demo and the game launch depending on how well I can run it, and what the benchmark videos on youtube with various rigs look like.
>he thinks the demo will be on PC
there's a 90%+ chance that the demo only gets released on PS5. It's clearly their target platform as they've been using it for all the gameplay shown, the PC recommended specs is basically a PS5, and releasing demos on PC is just inviting a free-for-all for dataminers.
I'm pretty sure Resident Evil Village had a demo on PC
every single modern Capcom that had a demo released it on pc
That's idiotic.
No way to go in blind after everything we've seen. I went into the first game blind because it had an early demo of RE6 included which completely ruined the cover.
There's a demo?!?!?
Not yet, but there will be.
not yet, but should be soon. At most it'll probably be a ogre or griffin fight like the first game, I don't really think the full open world build people have been playing will be available to us
Not yet, Capcom always has demos.
It looks like the most soulless basic b***h game ever. Like I get that this is what normalgays want but its like If you asked on AI to make a fantasy ARPG
Alright, I've been thinking about playing DD1 again with a new character.
>First character was a mage, then the first pawn you get was a mage.
>Time to make my own pawn, frick it, let's do mage again for shits
>Entire experience was terrible
Anyway, thinking about doing Sword and Board for next one with Rook or whatever being the mage. What's a good class to compliment the group for my personal pawn? Also, can you only have two pawns at once?
>class
Mystic Knight (because you won’t be able to play it in the sequel kek)
>pawn
Could try a Strider to support you and Rook, or just double up with another melee class to double team enemies with.
>how many
You can have up to three pawns, so a party of four in total.
listing the increase to encumbrance on level up makes me think certain classes will get more max encumbrance gains. I never minmaxed my stats in the first game but if one of those stats is max inventory space I might have to
Carry limit also gets increased if you pick up the golden beetles, so as long as you explore it should be fine.
i'm excited but i'm not watching any of this prerelease shit. idk why you'd wanna spoil stuff for yourself
>hispanic thread
>that part at 8:15 where the pawn is just lazily casting bolts from his staff and gets dropkicked by the ogre
now THATS dragon's dogma
I feel like the animation is kind of goofy. How did he gain all that speed? There was no weight to his jump.
Lmfao
haha good one
It's a shame that DD2 threads pre-release are nowhere near as good as DMC5 threads pre-release.
Really puts into perspective just how bad Ganker has gotten.
People thought resident shizoposters were terrible back then, but those times seem like heaven compared to Ganker resident schizoposters now.
I don't really feel like that's an equal comparison.
Everyone back in 2019 thought DMC as an IP was dead permanently because Capcom kept the game's early development under tight wraps to avoid leaks before the reveal. It felt like a revival of an old friend.
Everyone kind of knew and predicted that a DD2 was eventually going to come simply because of how many high profile people in Capcom are involved in it.
is it me or the performance looks pretty bad
thats the power of the PS5™ baby.
It's quite bad, locked to 30 and there are obvious and constant drops to 20, I know the PS5 is kind of shit, but surely the can optimize a bit better for it.
Yeah it looks like it runs terribly on the PS5. That's the reason I want a demo so bad.
its a PS5 what do u expect
I don't think the game looks visually good enough to justify the performance being that subpar and being locked to 30 when there are ps4 and even PS5 games with better graphics that run at 60 on ps5
ikr horizon or gow may be dog shit but they can even run at 4k 60fps and look 200x better. pretty shit job from capcom
Doesn't Resident Evil run well on these consoles? Maybe it's because of its open world nature, still no excuse though.
i'm pretty sure PS5 can do re8 4k 60fps WITH raytracing on. so yeah no excuse
RE engine games tend to run well. I think that's lik one of the main points of the engine, with well optimized games and good pc ports.
DMC5 ran at 60 on the base ps4 even.
Seems like they don't know how to optimize open world stuff with lots of shit going on.
thats how I felt about the first dragon's dogma as well. Ran like ass on the ps3 and 360 despite the graphics not being very good at all. Putting 300 hours into DD on a 360 and then swapping to the PC version was frickin night and day
it'll only be locked to 30 in their "quality" mode on PS5, which is fake4k@30fps. There will most likely be a performance mode that targets 60fps at 1620p or something around that.
I don't know dude, the steam requirements look grim. PS5 level requirements, but they only promise 30fps 1080p
Look again, the recommended specs is basically a ps5 for (fake)4k30fps
fake 4k30fps is a lot weaker than 1440p 60fps. Playing in 1080p is a deal breaker. The game does not look good enough for these requirements imo
Some of the animation work in this game looks strange when compared to the devs previous effort on DMC5, not quite up to that standard.
That's because it has actual ragdoll physics for every character and enemy instead of just canned animations. That's a huge step forward for action games.
By all means, point me to another open world game that has that many enemies and characters on screen at once that can interact with things freely with more than a few canned animations and spells/attacks that are nothing more than visual effects.
Why are you defending mediocre animation work and poor performance?
Why don't you understand the difference between canned animations and actual physics based movement and mechanics?
I've saved up for a new build (RTX 4060 and i5-12600k). Might not build it immediately when DD2 comes but this year for sure.
Frick animated healing
Frick universal dodge roll
Frick lock on
Discordtroons is brine food.
you forgot co-op and good gameplay
hi discord
>tfw PS5 gay
Bros... it's over...
Perhaps the footage is from a quality mode, hopefully you gays can at least enjoy a better performance mode with more fps...
Is Dragons Dogma (1st game) worth playing at this point?
it was the best action fantasy RPG of all time before Elden Ring was invented
and DD2 will be the best action fantasy RPG of all time after Elden Ring.
Maybe
Give it a shot, but do know that it is not for everyone.
It's still the best action RPG that exists. Despite being blatantly unfinished and 10 years old, no other game comes close to what it does with combat and party.
1080p 30fps is a 1070 and a 10600k. That's a good bit weaker than a PS5.
I'm just hoping I can get 60fps at 1440p with a 3070 and 5600x on medium settings. Obviously going to be disabling meme shit like volumetric rendering/lighting.
You were getting 300fps with a 5600x?
Will there be an option to turn off meme-tracing?
Yes. The specs explicitly list different cards if you want ray tracing on.
I've got a 13600k/12gb3080 so I'm pretty sure I can hit 1440p/60fps, but if a 4080 super is able to get that up to 120fps, I might buy one. 60 fps is playable, but I've gotten too used to playing games at 120+.
the funniest bit is that turning off the shitty fog increased your framerate
>homies really look at this comparison and think that the bottom one looks better
Reminds me of this
that first pic has haze in... im going insane aaaaaaaaa save me Black personman.
It's the same people who cried about Liurnia in Elden Ring having fricking fog in the morning over a big body of water.
The bottom one IS better
It isn't you dumb frick. The fog is necessary to create a sense of scale. Without the fog everything looks crammed into your face.
>The fog is necessary to create a sense of scale.
No, having rayleigh scattering except at 2000% strength doesn't create a sense of scale. Scale is created by the layout of the world and sight lines.
What setting was this? Is there one for volumetric fog or is that volumetric lighting?
Black personman, save me from the dust AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
notice how in real life the fog starts miles away
in the monhun image you are already getting fog at the front of the ship you are stood on
that what makes it look shit
>Something miles away in the mountains
>Something a few hundred meters away close to sea level
And the fog is still more aggressive. Step outside, Black person.
This, only this part should have fog on it
Is that MH:W?
See, perfect
>mountains that go up into the clouds
>vs a tree and forest close to the sea
You are such a disingenuous homosexual.
No roll or dodge? No lock on? Can you run out side of combat eithout stamina running out? These three are deal breakers for me. Just couldnt get into the first beacuse of these. After coming from the souls series and elsen ring.
It's this the exact same comments that was posted yesterday?
It's a direct copy of a reddit comment.
These mentally ill gays just reply to each other.
Goddamn, and I thought I was making bad use of my time.
sweet, another one for the compilation
>No roll or dodge? No lock on?
No. It's a good game.
>DD-Black folk think DD is an action RPG
>and then they think it is a good action RPG
LMAO
>discordtroons thinks they'll ever be a woman
>but they'll NEVER be a woman
LMAO
>graphics look dated
>capcom marketing is worthless
>frame rate is begging for 25 fps on a ps5
>horrible upscale ghosting
bros, i'm worried this will be the first time normies get mad at a game being unoptimized and unfinished.
agreed sars i am very much afraids, they should not redeem the game.
are you ok?
>normies
Go back, normalgay.
normies make or break games now, and that's just the way it is. look at how many morons bought cyberpunk, and then starfield.
>he didn't even get it
Go back, normalgay.
I didn't play DD, but I got dark arisen from Ps plus, is it worth playing or will I be lost?
Dark Arisen comes with the base game
>321 posts
>91 IPs
>it's the schizos!
LMAO
No one gives a frick about this kusoge
sars i am very much afraid of the sars that wil redeem the game, it no co-op, who play without co-op, u have no friend? b***h basterd, i raep your c**t vegana
BROS...
You wouldn't a cat
ofc not
a lot of these animations look fricking pathetic
the warrior gameplay you can feel it the most, nothing feels close to big dick feel of the attacks from DD1
hopefully this is something mods can fix
>hopefully this is something mods can fix
>he doesn't know
>ryzen 2600/rx 6600
Will it run on low at least?
The realism meme really makes the combat look slow and flacid. Fighter and Warrior almost look like they're moving through water now. Lacks the impact of the first game.
This looks pretty good though, also.
>Warrior hits also shake your screen.
Nice.
The volumetric lighting is much less aggressive than in other recent Capcom games, it's nice to see. It's like I came to Itsuno in his dreams.
SAVE ME RAYLEIGH BROS
It's the exact same game but with just better graphics? Another game I'll never bother to finish, it'll be just as fricking boring as the first, both the gameplay and story
>It's the exact same game but with just better graphics?
And that's a good thing!
>its the exact same shitpost
you sound wienerless, i will not bother to argue with you.
yeah, it's basically just the first game with
>entirely new engine
>at least two new vocations
>new skills and augments for returning vocations
>upgraded combat (more core skills, finishers, grappling)
>upgraded climbing (can now stand on enemies as solid ground to use abilities/recover stamina)
>rideable griffins
>new camping system
>new healing system (consumables only restore gray health)
>new ox cart fast travel with ambushes
>new races (elf and beast)
>improved pawn ai and new pawn interactions
>changes to how pawn inclinations work, including specializations such as organizing the party's inventories or translating elvish
>new dungeons
>entirely new map 4x the size of the DD1's Gransys
>at least 2 capital cities of similar size to Gran soren
>new quests
>entirely new main story
>new desert biome
>new monsters
>new behaviors for returning enemies
>enemies infighting
>new focus environmental actions and physics based combat (destroying bridges, dams, knocking down enemies by pushing them)
>weather affecting gameplay
I mean how lazy can you get?
none of those things count because goblins exist in both so it's literally the same and a flop
I've been replaying DDDA on ps5, after playing it on PC.
Going from 100+fps to 30fps is ROUGH (they never patched it for higher fps), when you pan the camera the screen just becomes a blurry mess with zero detail. BUT... in a way I've gotten used to it now so when DD2 comes out the current 4k30fps performance won't be that big of a deal if they can get rid of most of the drops during magic/particle effects.
But still hopefully there's a performance mode for 60fps at a lower resolution around 1600p(i) or whatever, would be fine with that.
>we want the dmc audience
I was going to play blue/red. feels good.
Unless spear is an actual unique weapon, then I'll play whatever vocation uses that.
They said they had DMC guys working on this vocation specifically and I'm definitely looking forward to it the most. I bet it'll have a royal guard esque move with the magic pimp hand.
>They said they had DMC guys working on this vocation specifically
He's making all of them anon, it's the same designer.
I'm not talking about Itsuno, I think there's an interview where he said he specifically had a lot of staff from the DMC team working on spearhand. Or maybe that team is making all the vocations, I don't remember.
>we want the BDO audience
Is this a multiplayer game?
It's a feels like multiplayer game
No. Fortunately it manages to create a sense of comradery and adventure with your party without relying on coop or wasting time and resources balancing garbage like PvP in primarily single player games.
That's unfortunate. I like playing these types of games with my friends, it's always our favorite Genre. These types of games get boring fast if it's a self contained universe and for that reason i'm out.
>That's unfortunate
Only for people with shit taste. My friends and I will be hiring each others' pawns and brining them in necessary. We'll enjoy our adventures and sharing stories and webms.
You don't have any friends just people you vaguely know on steam just stop
I know 6 people who are playing DD2 at launch. I know them all personally. I don't have anyone on my Steam friend's list that I don't actually know. I'm sorry that you and your friends all have shit taste.
>I know 6 people
You don't know random people on Steam. They are just random people you met.
>random people on Steam
Not a single one of them is someone I met through Steam. They're all people I met somewhere else and knew for years before adding them on Steam. Getting angry won't make your attempts at shitposting about multiplayer any more coherent. Try again in the next thread with a different angle. Maybe one that makes you look a little less upset.
>Not a single one of them
Every single one of them is random steam friends.
>Maybe one that makes you look a little less upset.
You were the one who came at me upset about my opinion on the game you can't play that card here lmao
About as multiplayer as BG3
That statement makes no sense.
The game has online elements but everyone treats the game as a single player offline game with no DRM.
Why do people think there will be more than 9 vocations?
because of interview answers given by Itsuno, and because they're expecting the same vocation logic the first game had. I'm not expecting more than 9, but I wouldn't be surprised either
because if these 9 were all there was it would mean there is literally no upgrade to 2 of the base classes you start the game with, and the "hybrid" class trickster would not actually be a hybrid of any other class. There are a bare minimum of 4 more classes to account for that, and logically there would likely be more to fit the other hybrid possibilities
We've seen an actual spear class that clearly isn't a two-sided twinblade like the mystic knight uses.
The first game had a basic red, yellow and blue. It had advanced red, yellow and blue. It had hybrids of red-yellow, red-blue and yellow-blue. There's a pattern and order to it. The new game has shown us basic red, blue, green and yellow. It's shown advanced red and blue, and hybrids with red-blue, yellow-blue and pink-purple. There's no pattern and order unless there are also advanced yellow and green, basic and advanced pink and purple, and hybrids where each color is involved in 2 hybrid classes.
>trickster is a hybrid class of a purple and pink class
>they haven't shown any purple and pink classes
Could just be some moronic design decision for the class emblem but seems odd to make a fake hybrid class
THE WIND IS PUSHING MEEEEEE
I bet advanced green will have Wolverine-like claws and it can climb any surface.
My god this gameplay looks just as boring as the first game
are you gonna keep repeating this over and over?
Yes, yes he will
sadly.
no but you are the discord troony, so basically one creature, because i wouldnt call you a person.
>Ganker is one person
Keep deluding yourself you moron
>no counter-argument
I actually prefer the slightly slower combat animations, it feels more deliberate. A bit more LOTR, a bit less weeby. I'll likely avoid thief for the most part as that still looks to be full on brainsplitter anime spam.
>looks worse than DD1
Dogmasisters... not like this...
Yeah. Basically the same game.
Oh shit another same exact post by the discord troon.
https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/18xx52d/dragons_dogma_2_18_minutes_of_fighter_thief/
Holy SHIT... Reddit is ripping this game a new one kek.
go back and stay there
>Community will remain free from normalgays
It keeps getting better.
Against my better judgement I clicked on the link. It looks like all the morons here who don't know what jank means come from reddit. Not surprising.
What did you expect? These are the game the same people that praise God of Onions and NuZelda.
nuGoW sucked but nuZelda was great. All games need more interactivity and reactive environments.
>reactive environments.
Then why are you praising nuZelda?
Because it's one of the few games where you can actively interact with the environment in a lot of ways and different areas do more than act as set dressing. If you haven't actually played nuGoW and nuZelda, then skip the moronic shitposting about both of them.
I guess chopping down a tree counts as interaction for you.
Want some real interaction, play Red Faction
Red Faction has destructible environments. Things break, and that's awesome, but all they do is break. To bring up the example of a tree since that's what you mentioned, a tree can be cut down, can be climbed as it's falling or get propped up on something (which is a big deal if you've actually played physics heavy games), has buoyancy and can float in water, can be used as a physics object to launch into enemies, can be cut into firewood, or can be lit on fire as is. Now stop shitposting about games you don't play. You're as bad as the morons copy pasting made up nonsense about DD2.
HL2 did it in 2004.
Your zelda game isn't special.
It's quite fricking boring in fat.
>HL2 did it in 2004.
You're a moron and I don't think you've played BotW or HL2. But feel free to prove me wrong by breaking a physics object in HL2, propping it up against something else, and then walking on it without it janking out. No need to show any of the fire stuff, just the function as a physics body will do. I won't reply again if you don't post that because I'm not going to argue with a moron who argues about games they literally don't play.
I played both.
Physics stuff was impressive in 2004.
nobody is impressed by it now.
TotK was boring shit despite all the absolutely pointless building you can do in the game. Add to that a boring open world with nothing to do in it except look for dumb koroks and prop up signs.
Literally every criticism people throw at Ubishit games can be applied to zelda. Thank god I emulated that trash. Never going to let tendies trick me into playing another Zelda ever again.
The building mechanic wouldn't be as bad if it weren't so clunky but it takes so long to build anything that it takes all the fun out of it.
Or if the game actually required you to build anything more complex than a log with a sail on it or a board with 4 wheels.
>Because it's one of the few games where you can actively interact with the environment in a lot of ways and different areas do more than act as set dressing.
Good, good.
No reddiftBlack person in DD2 and the discordtroons might decide that farming reddit for upboats is easier, albeit not as fun.
Again, won't be surprised if it's just the entire discord replying to each other and creating a narrative.
I'll wait for the dark arisen version to come out.
I don't buy capcom games until at least the second revision has come out. Especially seeing that leak a few years back. Exoprimal already has it's first revision coming out, super street fighter 6 later this year... There's just no point in buying in early. Especially with all the fricking problems I'm seeing in these demos.
Why is it so hard for AAA game marketers to upload footage in 60fps or 120fps on PC? It's always dogshit 30fps. You can't expect me to believe that the game is out in 2 months and we still don't have any actual PC footage. Nvidia or AMD should be jumping on this game as their sponsored title.
Because it will run like garbage
How is PC going to run worse than Xbox Series S?
AMD sponsored Resident Evil 4. Nvidia sponsored Monster Hunter Rise & World.
because they'll optimize for series S, and the other consoles.
IT's gonna run poorly, but it'll still run better with less issues and crashes than PC.
Did you just not play the PC release of DDDA?
>because they'll optimize for series S
So they will optimize for AMD is what you're saying. Because Xbox is a Ryzen 3000 cpu, Radeon RX GPU, and Windows NT kernel like PC.
It is based on those systems, but it is not the same, otherwise they would just be able to run on the same settings as PCs using those specs
They can't.
It's literally same RDNA2 and Ryzen architecture along with kernel that the DX12 drivers use on Xbox.
same architecture style
not the same chip
Again, you're just being disingenuous, done responding to your stupidity after this post.
You're the fricking moron here
If its same architecture then why does CU count matter you fricking c**t? When you say optimize you say they optimize for the kernel and architecture. Unless your dumbass has another idea for "optimize".
Jap games don't usually do Nvidia/AMD pantherships.
We'll be lucky if it doesn't randomly delete saves or delete the entire C drive when you uninstall it. japs are moronic when it comes to PC ports.
I'd reckon they're not showing footage cause it's gonna be crash city.
Because consoles are shit.
they can't show good footage because then consolebabs will cry about not getting the same experience. See Cyberpunk.
>we had a moron play dragons dogma 2 for ten hours, here's the worst footage we could manage which we made sure to ruin further by fricking up the encoding
Total journo death.
Can journalists even be considered human?
I'm gonna go with a no for that one
What, it's not cool to compare open world 3rd person action fantasy games with ER anymore?
total journo death
Immense homosexualty energy emanating from that article
God of War is the new Dark Souls of vidya journoalism.
I didn't think it was THAT bad
Frick every journo and dev that uploads vp9 and h264 videos to YouTube. Everything should be AV1 now.
I might be moronic, but wasn't there a mage/sorcerer augment that would allow a pawn to start casting the same spell another pawn was casting, at the same charging stage?
it wasn't an augment, but an inherit mechanic of sorcerer. it's still present in the sequel
>webm
phenomenal, can't wait
did they add special sprint animations? I swear in the first game you put away your weapon when you sprint, either way it looks pretty good
REngine was a mistake
I have a feeling the fps drops in this will be largely fixed by just turning off RT for not that big of a visual difference. This footage will be captured in quality mode, 4k(i) with RT likely turned on. In previous RE games capcom have allowed you to turn it off on PS5, I'd assume DD2 will have the same.
So the choices will likely be quality mode, performance mode, RT on or off on either.
Have you played RE4? Ray tracing doesn't actually plummet the fps. It hardly changes it.
will the harpies have nipples tho
>20fps
i hope this is better on pc
i want this game to succeed
>re engine
why does it not look anwhere as good as re 8?
re-8 isnt open world
and?
if thats your response you are a moron
You realize open world games still load in the same chunks?
you guys dont know anything about game design and limitations
at the simplest level, look back to the ps1. why did crash look better than spyro? one game wasnt as open.
same deal here. you homos should never go into the industry
Thank god we aren't in the PS1 era anymore
yes i lover her
no im not all those posters
yes im the fourth one down though
It's absolutely insane how tech illiterate Ganker is.
you are a moron yes
