Biggest concerns for me are Denuvo performance, pervasiveness of the micro-transactions / cash shop, and voice acting quality (I'm looking at you, Max).
Worst case scenario I'm hoping I can use cheat engine to edit in some premium currency, but I've never bought a Denuvo game before so I don't know if that's possible.

RE4R runs fine...
Not him, but DD2 is the first real next gen game a lot of people are buying, and if you're used to being able to play at 1440p/120fps or higher, then it's going to suck worrying about holding 60fps, and no one wants more performance hits to worry about. Especially needlessly ones that amount to malware for paying customers.

I can tell you right now that you don't need to worry about micro-transactions, it's not a live-service game and it's just not the kind of game for it in general. It'll be dumb shit like buying RC but the game won't be balanced around it. World size is a weird fear, they already said it's going to be bigger but you shouldn't necessarily want the biggest open world ever. It should be as big as it can be that still allows for dense/meaningful exploration. I'm more concerned with dungeons, those should be what really gets more attention. A modest sized open world with more larger and better designed dungeons would be ideal.
