>wiener AND STONE BROTHERS
i look like that and i say that
Will the robots go away in season 3?
Or will we have both robots and whatever the plague is?
We get plague infested robots.
God I hope it's just plague, hate the robots. Both unsatisfying and down right annoying to go against. I just want to shoot flesh with heavy weapons.
An enemy type that straight up makes a weapon group unviable in a game that has 2-3 weapons per slot at best is stupid, yeah I hope it's not robots again
As an engi main I hope robots stay. They are fun, add variety, and I like hacking them when they die. I assume it'll just increase chances of newer events while dropping down the percentage chance of robots or older ones.
At the very least I hope robot events are gone. Leave robots to Sabotage and Rival Presence.
Friendly reminder that cyro is meta and thus superior.
Do perks and weapon upgrades do anything yet or are they still boring underpowered garbage that does nothing but a small % increase or moronic sprint that lasts a second at max level and is used once per game?
Only a few perks are once per game (the last ditch effort free life perk is like that), some are just some generic buffs, a few do change the game with new mechanics, like Beastmaster.
Weapon upgrades are boring generic buffs but the overclocks do some funky shit that basically turns what you have into a whole new weapon
Some upgrade are pretty noticeable and a few actually change the weapon gameplay.
Every weapon has 1 or 2 overclocks that change how you play it.
Perks are fine. The passive ones aren't too crazy of course but they're noticeably and always on. The active ones are great and decently balanced.
>Sprint lasts all of a second, barely reduces speed, has endless cooldown
> Befriend bug is shit and is only good for le ebin pat pat
>Vampire barely recovers health
I remember none else cause they were so pointless
>Sprint
Dash is actually one of the best active perks. Very quick repositioning lets you avoid danger and enables some riskier high value plays. Also ignores movement reductions like sticky floor and webbing to keep yourself safe.
>Steve
Creating a Steve redirects bug aggro towards Steve. This massively helps reduce risk from projectile bugs as it reduces damage to you and your whole team. Smaller bugs will also group up around Steve for easy pickings and exposing weak-points on praetorians.
>Vampire
Synergizes with Iron Will very effectively, though I wouldn't recommend Iron Will to begin with. The health gain is triggered on all of Driller's melee damage sources which includes throwing axes and the drills. Melee damage is massively boosted on frozen targets as well, so Ice Driller in particular can often make great use of vampire for self sustain with barbed drills.
Sprint (really Dash) is meant to be used as a dodge or a dash. If you just want to run faster there's the second wind passive but eh
Beast tamer isn't as good in multiplayer but for solo it does wonder at splitting aggro and keeping lone bugs off your ass.
Vampire is ok with a cryo driller. Technically it also synergizes with Berserker and Iron Will but you won't get much out of it in general.
>Vampire barely recovers health
Pheremones, son. Especially during random waves, get 6 glyphids gangraping another and glitching into each other in a pile, then give it a good power smash (wide radius upgrade for even more fun) for 30+ HP instantly. Who needs red sugar when the bugs start a Fight Club for you lol
Half of OCs are so trash you shouldn't even bother with them. Half of the remaining ones are just strictly inferior versions of the actual good and worthwhile ones. To be fair some of the weapons are that way too in a game where your weapon selection is very fricking limited.
What OC do you wish was in game?
>Slug rounds for warthog
>innate armor break and blow through
>high crit modifier
>reduces fire rate and increases recoil
fat boy but minigun
Overclock to make engineer platforms work like tranpolines
>overclocks for tools
the biggest thing they could do to drastically change kits that they just never will. Shame
Theyre too scared to make the game more interesting or fun.
They’ll run out of ideas eventually and then surely they’ll have bend or break on some design choices that are limiting the game
got ideas? i got some but sound bad or dont belong in this game
trampoline plats for engi
flare gun that sticks on bugs and track them or whatever
short zipline but its used to wrangle big and fast bugs like the rolling ones
yeh I’ve got plenty varying from “modifies current function” to “might as well be a new tool” but even then it doesn’t actually change the functionality of the dwarf so maybe they aren’t that off the wall
grappling hook
halved range, 1 second cooldown
i know it'd be broken, idc
Grappling hook that you swing on instead of retracting into.
I think there is actually a mod for this
Cryogun giving massive run speed for your team and buffing the crap out of the drill damage while moving on frozen ground, effectively turning yourself into a cannonball. Capable of making ice patch on the trajectory that lasts like 2 secs at best too.
So you'd want something like
>Much more ammo
>much higher flow rate
>cryo arrives at target almost instantly
>Icy ground lowers friction and increases maximum speed
>Icy ground duration greatly increased
>colliding with enemies deals damage
>very low direct damage output
>lower freeze rate
so you can slide around on icy trails.
>heat overlock for flamethrower that ads +7 heat at the cost of -3 damage and -10 mag size
>crit overlock for the subata that ads +2 damage and +35% weakpoint damage for -50 ammo and -5 magazine size
Heat OC for every gun that doesn't already have one to make cryoshitters seethe ever harder
>Uranium bullets for lead storm
>bullets irradiate on impact and do additional armour damage
>longer start up spin and near instant spin down when not firing
Bouncy balls for the slug thrower.
>Slug rounds for warthog
that's just MPA with choke mod.
mpa doesn’t give innate blow through and armor break tho
20mm grenades for the PGL
>halved damage and aoe
>x2 ammo (ie, the extra ammo upgrades work properly)
i would suggest being able to load more that one at a time (preferably 4) but visually i'm not sure how to make that work with the reload animations and whatnot
maybe just give it a big reload speed buff instead
But why? The current AOE and damage isn't that strong, if you halve it it won't even kill grunts and barely have AOE.
The bulldog visually doesn't properly reflect six shooter or elephant round mag changes so I don't think that matters much
More interesting primaries and secondaries for engine.
Engie has great secondaries but mediocre primary weapons.
What are the other two secondaries I am working on unlocking the heart shard
Well the default is the PGL, you shoot grenades.
The 2nd secondary is the breach cutter, it shoots an horizontal laser line forwards. Great damage, good armor break, great range, infinite penetration and you can shoot through walls. Decent ammo for it too.
The 3rd is the shard diffrector which you're currently working on, it shoots a laser beam.
love drawing dicks into the cave walls
>Drawing dicks
Go big or go home, pick driller and make the whole cavern infrastructure look like a giant dick. That'll send the rival corps a real message.
The warthog is great, you need to build it to just get 1 headshot 1 dead grunt.
not that this is hard to do, anything that isn't minishells can do that with a single damage or pellet mod
That assumes you can get all 8 pellets to hit the head, which is practically impossible beyond melee range.
Why are you trying to snipe with a shotgun?
For real though, 21321 cycle overloads has to be my favorite build for it. You have so much ammo, damage, fire rate and utility you don't care if you gotta shoot twice at a spitter.
Coilgun OC Vacuum trail
>Trail pulls in bugs from somewhat larger range than the damaging trail, maybe x2 size
>pulls for duration of trail
>faster reload and charge
>reduced trail duration
>No trail damage
after playing darktide, shotgun mod for pgl. is it pointless when hyper prop exists? yeah, but it's cool.
target painting homing missiles for the hurricane like the titan cluster missiles in titanfall 2
pump action mod for the warthog that gives it blowthrough and a damage boost but shoots slower. the pump animation is already there when you reload, why not
>Punch-through for Shard Diffractor
>MIRV for PGL
>LOK-1 lock-on mechanic for Hellfire Missile Launcher
>Goo puddles that expand and then explode into smaller goo puddles upon hitting a surface for the Sludge Pump
For fricks sake buff the cum cannon, I don't get how a late addition gun in a non deep game can be complete crap compared to every other option on a class on all fricking accounts, do they just hate the driller? It's not like the class is shite either.
we just need a way to ignite the puddles ourselves
EPC can with t5c
? coom cannon is just fine. I play sludge blast, disperser compound, and VIM frequently
What? Sludge cannon is fricking great. It's strong even without overclocks. Driller doesn't have any bad weapons except for two useless grenades, but you can just run axe on everyone.
Will we ever get to upgrade our FRICKING flares? I don't even want more powerful flares I just want either faster recharge or to be able to hold more than 4
Flares used to be upgradeable. The upgrades you could get were literally faster recharge and +1 capacity (from 3 to 4), as you suggested. Those upgrades were then made the default flare stats and flare upgrading was just removed and the costs refunded. You are now asking for even more upgrades that are even more unnecessary.
Well make the flares not shit then.
Then why have the flare slot still take up screen space on equipment screen. Make it replacable, upgradable, or just remove it entirely
I would love to have at least sidegrades for flares or even have flares be slightly different depending on class. Stuff like sticky flares with slightly reduced duration or high intensity flares that can't be thrown very far, something for a little more variety.
>play driller
>comfy drilling, team follows me without question
>get to c4 morons and have the best horde clear
>haha burn you fricking Black folk

>place turrets on chokes, there isn't a single inch of terrain they don't cover
>get to meme with the fatboy

>HEAVY IS CREDIT TO TEAM
>do absolutely fricking nothing half the mission because ziplines are worthless and my guns are overkill for almost everything

Haz4 moment
is there some good oc for autocanon aside from big bertha and the toxin one? i just got carpet bomber and the damage is ass. at least the bigger fear aoe is ok
Pretty much every OC works for the autocannon if you build for it.
Neurotoxins is still the most efficient crowd control.
Big bertha destroys big targets.
Combat mobility, while not as strong as big bertha, can be built for a ludicrous firerate and shits out damage while staying decently mobile, very good for haunted eliminations
Carpet bomber and splitering shells are essentially the same with just a bit different numbers, they're both fine to kill crowds now (as opposed to eventually like neurotoxins). Just don't try to make a hybrid build.
Composite drum is just a basic clean OC, nothing to really say here, you can ignore t1c and that's it.
They should make "ice bullets" overclocks for all the guns.
>Be scout
>Order resupply a million miles away from everyone on some hard to reach ledge
>Be scout
>Order a bunch of supply drops on a hard to reach ledge
>Use them all
>Leave the mission
Even if you kick me before I use all the supplies, your nitra is already gone.
>be driller
>have alien egg with me
>dig straight down forever
>refuse to call molly
>c4 at the entrance of anyone who dares to enter my infinite hole
it's the simple things
>TK you with grenades down tunnel
>have the sc**t go fetch the egg and ride molly up your dumb shaft
>ride molly up your shaft
is this a pic for glyphid swarmers?
But does she carry a load well?
You bet your beard she does.
>human/anime face for a robot
artists stop doing this, it's shit
>Turn Molly into a robot human, removing the appeal
These artists I swear
Is there any art of the bugs as girls?
But how does one grief as gunner or engi?
Put your damn ziplines over interactable crap
You can also always call Molly over and over again
I had an engi the other night that was great at wiener blocking jumps and grappling hooks with his platform gun.
Felt like I was playing Kaizo Mario
>be engie
>put plat roof directly overhead on objective and put 4 prox mines inside objective radius
Just don't stand in the bright yellow circle, forehead
I have no floor and I must stand
Scout Crossbow noob here.
Any tips for making the xbow work?
Use a different weapon
Pheromone bolts.
get magnetic shaft upgrade, shock something with special bolt, then shoot it in the ass with normal bolts
Solo, use the fire or cryo bolts + pheromones
Coop, don't use it.
Ok stop listening to these other morons. There are 3 ways to make the crossbow work.
>Use Bodkin Points with Damage upgrade
this will let you get 3 grunt kills with a single shot
>Use Freezing arrows against high priority targets
pretty self explanatory
>Use Fire arrows against groups of enemies
this works the best with conjuction with pheromone bolts and nades. pheromone a big target and shoot 2-3 arrows in there. If you throw the nade against a group spread the fire arrows somewhat evenly and you'll clear the entire horde with 3-4 arrows tops.
Thanks!
The crossbow still is a shit gun in comparison to the other more fun primaries
I am a new player that got into DRG just recently,
I have almost promoted all of my dwarfs.
Game is good, however sometimes i feel like im missing some arcane knowledge, because haz 4 lobbies are kicking my ass constantly.
Any tips for a newplayer?
generally just stick with your team
as soon as you feel comfortable move into haz5. Haz4 is permashitter territory where you will learn very little from the players around you
I have not unlocked Haz 5 yet.
Frankly, it seems impossible.
I assure you the jump from haz5 from haz4 really isn’t that bad
Some people take a surprisingly long time to learn the lesson of "don't get hit by bug".
Sometimes you can't avoid getting hit by bug.
dash or die digger
Always be moving unless you're an engie and you set up a defense point (turrets, mines, repellent plats).
Make surviving a priority over killing bugs. Compared to haz3, haz4's biggest challenges is that you get way more bugs so you can't afford to just tank them so finish clearing a wave.
Actually use all your tools, don't just shoot your main weapon.
Review your build. Generally speaking, hybrid builds are trash. You want to stick to a weapon's strong point, and make it better. Also make sure your secondary combos with, or complements your primary. Don't be the moron gunner running leadstorm leadstorm and elephant rounds bulldogs.
Aside from volatile bullets, what kinda bulldog build even complements your primary.
magic bullet turns it into a swarm grinder
Well you could go for a neurotoxin explosive rounds magic bullet Bulldog to have some CC, to pair with the minigun or a jet-fuel Hurricane. Or use electro minelets BRT, or any coilgun build aside from The Mole.
In the same spirit, if you have an AOE autocannon or Hurricane, you'd want a strong single-target build for your secondary.
Basically don't put all your eggs in the same basket.
Well generally you want your second weapon's build to cover the weaknesses of your first or at least not share the same weaknesses which can bite you in the ass at a bad time. If you have a very inaccurate primary, you ought to have an accurate or AoE secondary to catch targets at longer ranges. In the example the person you replied to gave, he mentions avoiding the slowest minigun build with the slowest revolver build because it leaves you short on the opportunity cost of having a weapon that could get you out of trouble when you need a fast weapon– if say when two tri-jaws appear in front of you.
>when two tri-jaws appear in front of you.
nevermind guns, thats when you turn 90degrees and dash the hell out
nah, that's when you wait and jump over their shoots, like I always do. And yes, it works
>Well generally you want your second weapon's build to cover the weaknesses of your first or at least not share the same weaknesses which can bite you in the ass at a bad time
Unless when you're playing driller, therefore don't really have any good options but have the axes instead.
heavy hitter EPC is fine for big damage sniping
elephant rounds
I run every gunner build with elephant rounds and never bother with anything else
it just melts single targets and that's all you need
Haz 4 is full of dipshits, so it could simply be the others not picking up the inevitable new player slack.
I'd advise moving straight up to 5 and observing the tricks other players use that you might be missing. It helps that, given they're good enough to carry a player, they'll be more happy to give pointers rather than reeeing
What exactly are you having an issue with? Ammo efficiency? Are you not avoiding damage consistently? Are you not using your team mates? Are you unaware of class specific advanced techniques? Are your weapon builds poorly designed? Do you understand spawn wave patterns? Do you just have skill issues with aiming?
There's a lot that could be said. As a general rule, understand that on haz 4 and 5 enemies will be faster, have more health and spawn in larger groups. Fewer mistakes are allowed, so give damage avoidance and repositioning a higher priority. Know how to prioritize enemies like trijaws or acid spiters over armored grunts. Know how to use your weapon more efficiently if you have trouble with it. There are numerous small techniques that could be mentioned to improve performance that would take long to explain and you'll have to learn with practice (e.g. falling on a praetorian prevents fall damage, shooting out the tips of laser crystals in escort missions).
All of what you just said but aim.
>falling on a praetorian prevents fall damage
That's the kind of shit I was looking for, thanks.
It works on dwarfs too
aside from what's already been said
>it's generally better to avoid damage than deal it, but it's worth tanking a hit if it means preventing another player going down
>avoid fighting in areas with lots of obstacles and line of sight blocks (driller can flatten out areas if need be, and it's been a literal lifesaver for many salvage/sabotage missions)
>don't stand too long in one place during a swarm. The swarm AI aims to encircle a player by default, so moving around throws it off and helps bunch them up
>don't prize ammo efficiency over survival if shit is hitting the fan, or if you think shit might hit the fan
Haz 4 lobbies are hard because haz 4 is full of shitters. A good team can make anything seem easy but a good team is rare in haz 4. Move to haz 5 and you will feel the difference immediately.
Hmm maybe I should start joining haz 4 games when I play with randoms for fun/challenge.
I tell you, my hardest mission to date was an haz4 escort mission with randoms, and I have over a 1000h in this game (I play mostly in haz 5).
>The only cool scout weapon might as well be a joke
I guess this is how they keep getting the worst players
>only cool one
which one is cool to you? Bouncy drak and garand are great
I'm partial to the super powerful Drak that overheats fast and is wildly inaccurate. Fulfills my desire for a close-range murdergun with more ammo than the assault rifle.
is that OPA? Been a while since I’ve used anything other than impact deflection
Drak is fricking great I got a overclock on it that does a short range AOE on overheat and gives a quicker cool down between overheats
Can't believe I slept on cryo minelets for so long.
It kicks ass at dealing with both crowds, praetorians and it has a shit ton of ammo as well.
>microwave gun has next to no visual feedback
>Near infinite range
>Hide in a corner somewhere and blast my teammates with it while they run around trying to find what's damaging them
I think solo diving SUCKS.
it's so boring without a team and with low spawns.
some anons post their screenshots like a trophy but if it's not fun there's no point.
if you're diving solo you might as well try to go fast to spice it up
Solo Deep Dives are so etimes the only way to prove that you are in fact capable, and that other people are indeed the problem.
4 players > 3 players > solo > 2 players
Sounds about right.
When's the new content releasing again?
Don't know if they officially said a date anywhere. But the skins are coming out on the 3rd so I assume then.
Nice crotch shot
Scout has an ass hatch.
>Anon, go to Molly, right now!
>I can hear you depositing through your pants!
no not yet
It's for mid-flight high-velocity shitting
Reminds me about the one trapazee artist or whatever they call that job on the circus shitting on the viewers
wtf
Explosive diarrhea during the act
did that really happen
I hope so
Stubby is highly underrated.
it's alright, I just wish it was less of a mixed weapon.
>robots leave and plague arrives
>the plague somehow ends up being even worse than robots
imagine
why do people keep saying this
the robots are not going away
>imagine
that's a pretty high possibility
what if plague is just that yellow crystal bugs event but with parasites?
Robots WITH the plague!
should I always be taking the deal of the day at the trader?
It's a toss up. If it's a "exchange gold for mineral" it often will be. Conversely, if it's "exchange mineral for gold" if often won't be. All depends on how much gold/mineral you actually need or want to have on hand. Remember that you get gold from any mission, but minerals from only some missions and none from Deep Dives.
What are your theories about this plague?
What kind of enemies do you think we'll encounter?
reskins that all release omega brap aids on death unless you use cryo to negate the in death affect
Devs have been teasing the update with that power wash simulator game. Expect a mini-game where you pick up tools and have to mop up plague tar. Maybe some plague variants of existing bugs with different weakpoints.
Playing engie is so comfy.

>play engie

>nooooo I want to be a scout

t. shitter
rj250 with a single ammo mod kills grunts even at the edge of the explosion. And with the stun mod its the same as regular that kills monsters in place without ragdolls but with 14 fricking ammo
wow so you can kill a few grunts and need at least 2 shots for anything tougher, crazy
You don't use it against anything tougher unless you want to stun a pack of macteras or something. And WOW like you use the base PGL against anything tougher than small bugs.
I have like 300 hours as engi and rj250 works perfectly at any hz level.
instant
kick
Why won't ghostship give us more loadout slots?
Maybe even per weapon loadouts.
pls understand they're too busy nerfing your favorite build and making up 100 slots of random shit for the next season
I will kick anyone that orders a leaflover's special without a second thought.

I love DRG bros
I've been there.
yea, sometimes the RNG level generation in this game just does a big frick you
What's the max amount of spitballers you guys have seen in one spot? The other day I saw 3 lined up together. Pretty funny mane.
I think my worst spitballer experience was an egg hunt I did with a friend where the level spawned as a huge vertical tube with terraces, like 100+m tall.
All the eggs were on the roof and every terrace had a spitballer.
It looked kind of like this.
>am 2scout 1gunner 1engi
>call drop pod in the hollow tree
>far and in ceiling as fricking usual
>halfway there engi and gunner get downed
>scoutbro and i just look at each other and keep going
>tfw in the pod
>leaving dorfs behind
scum
It is typical sc**t behavior. They are not dwarves, don't let their beards fool you.
this game is so damn fun when its hard, like shitters on my team will whine about the 4 spitballers and 6 praetorians but that shit just excites me
I think some people forget or don't know that you can shoot the spitballers projectiles out of the air
Wait, you can do that!?
Yes, or worse they'll try to rez someone while in view of a spitballer
>Not putting the life of your bros over yours

>all the new weapons are glorified gimmicks except the microwave gun which is underwhelming
I knew in what way this game would be developed when I saw the voice actor for the dwarves was one angloid with the most blatant reddit physiognomy.
>his normal voice is sc**t's voice
you may not like it, but that's how you carry haz5 and edds easy with the minigun
I knew I wasn't the only one who went with that build for minigun. I just need that overclock.
But that's wrong.
The BH meta is solved, the only real build choice is T5 where you either intentionally spam Aggressive Venting AoE/Fear or take Hot Bullets to light things on fire from range for your Volatile Bulldog.
You want to synergize with heat generation rather than put on shitty cooling mods.
>The BH meta is solved
then why are you posting the wrong build
>You want to synergize with heat generation rather than put on shitty cooling mods.
no I dont. faster cooling saves life. I need high uptime and not a meme fear
and only brainletts leave out armor shredding when it's your main task to pulverize everything that crawls out of a nuke blast.
Don't need armor breaking when fire+ stunned kills anything small and volatile kills anything big.
CC + DoT is inherently strong synergy, see: Neuro AC.
Play Haz 6 x2 sometime.
>meta
I prefer the fire rate mod in t1 and blowthrough in t3.
My reasoning is that I try to get as close to enemies as possible for BH, so I don't need the greater accuracy. Blowthrough just helps get the grunts in the back that i can't burn with BH. Sometimes I use stun instead, though, because it's fun.
I use it with hot bullets, haven't really tried AV.
So, I've promoted my Engineer twice now, but I've never touched another class.
What's the new with other classes, do I go straight to higher hazards? Or do I go back down to the start.
maybe do a couple mission on haz3 to get the basics down but if you're generally good with engie you should be able to get back to your usual level as soon as you can buy a mod in each tier.
How's the m1k and shotty compared to the other scout main weapons? I'm silver 2 and I'm getting bored of them. I use clean OC on the m1k because shotty has ze powder.
Also gib builds
I use Drak 21212 Shield Battery Booster and Boltshark 31121 Bodkins.
Obviously SBB takes some getting used to, but it's not nearly as difficult as people make it out to be. Just play a little more carefully and switch to your secondary whenever you are hurt. The catch is that that secondary needs to be something that's good in most situations and doesn't run out of ammo instantly, which means the shotgun and zhukovs are both non-viable.
Boltshark with Bodkins fills in for a lot of situations where you would need to do damage while your shield is hurt, and it takes a substantial amount of time to use up all your bolts. They mostly just clear swarms (grunts etc) but that's mostly all you need, especially if you have cryo nades to deal with large groups of swarmers. Tasers are a somewhat controversial choice for tier 1, but they have incredibly utility against bulks, dreadnoughts, and nemesis. You could outright kill a nemesis with a single taser given enough time (about 5 minutes), and 3 tasers will leave it basically harmless until it dies about a minute later. Tasers are also somewhat useful against praetorians and oppressors. Against non-machines, 2 tasers will basically immobilize an enemy for nearly 15 seconds, so sticking a dreadnought during its vulnerable (and most dangerous) phase makes it much easier for both you and your team.
Compared to M1k, this build struggles with shellbacks. It has basically no armor penetration, so killing an adult shellback is an exercise in futility. It's much MUCH better at clearing swarms, and more or less equivalent at killing tougher enemies (still pretty bad, but not worthless). Compared to the shotgun, it's like you actually have 2 weapons instead of 1 gun and 1 shitty traversal tool.
I use hoverclock and incendiary jumbo shells
I grappled to the ceiling, and hoversniped a bulk detonator and it died and I was cool
this is imo the most fun sc**t build. you can pretty easily get more kills than a gunner or driller on haz 5 if you play it right
pheromone is great for clumping enemies for aggressive venting, and trifork lets you almost one shot shellbacks, goo bombers, and if you freeze them, menaces and spitballers
could also take t5b on the crossbow if you have tcf on the drak
only downside is you're shit at killing oppressors and you will most definitely take a lot of friendly fire trying to get off a juicy vent
I don't think "Scout" and "Fun" can be in the same sentence if special powder isn't in the equation.
Seriously, I can never go back. Nevermind how insanely fun shotgun jumping is, it's still a usable weapon in combat even when ammomaxxing for maximum jumpage, and the utility is just through the goddamn roof.
it's really fun but i'd argue a waste of a slot on anything besides point extract, oil refining, and maybe escort. on other missions there just isn't enough room to justify it. it gives extra mobility to a class that already has plenty.
M1K you wanna go with hipster or a clean OC imo. Supercooling is shit, electrocuting shots is underwhelming and Active Stability System might as well not exist.
Don't focus too much of focus shots, regular shots do just fine. If going with hipster, go wild and shoot everything all the time.
The Boomstick is pretty much always fine as long as you don't purposefully build it bad. Pull it out, chunk something, put it away
.
I don't see that doing well on haz5 4 players tbh. Other players can handle grunt swarms, I see no reason to not have a burst damage secondary. And SBB is just no, I've yet to see anyone use it with an uptime that justifies it.
my haz 5 go-to
sometimes i switch up the t1 and t2 mods if i get bored
drak is for trash mobs, taser+trifork is for anything bigger
with cryo nade because cryo is just too good to pass up
how 2 nishaniqua? never tried it
what's your question, exactly?
how 2 nishaniqua
select it at the equipment terminal
Normally just run this for haz 5.
M1k has decent wave clear with blowthrough and one shots grunts on a headshot, or with a charge shot to the body.
Embedded Dets shred anything big, and isn't that bad at handling swarmers or jellies if you need to.
