It's pretty fun. Got my first win as engineer.
I hate the Gunner that you need to face to use the main gun, either have directional aiming or not.
Its full or weird things that dont quite work in the genre. and feels completely unfair sometimes.
althought the bosses are a joke and can be cheesed very easily.
I would like an online mode but it might make it too easy.
Its just a mishmash of very weird decisions and kind of but dont quite work most of the time.

I like it, my favorite gun so far is the Minigun, sure it starts like ass but once it gets penetration you can literally mow down any horde the game throws at you so you can never get cornered ever again as you just cut a path through the bugs towards wherever you want to go.
It looks like to be pretty fun to play, I kinda like how it's not a "standard" 30mn timers for this type of game.
I'm just gonna wait more months until more content is released before buying it.
Idk just not interested in the slightest, Ill keep playing couple missions a week in normal DRG as I have.
Did not even know it was out until I saw it on the launch screen
I already got my money's worth and I like everything I saw on their roadmap, so I'm going to just wait for more content even though its fun the way it is now.

Looked up gameplay footage and it looked similar to every other survivor clone

Exactly, homosexual devs are desperate to make their one success a big franchise with shitloads of spin-offs. I think it’s immensely lame when DRG has only recently blown up in popularity

Yep, and they’ve confirmed that DRG isn’t gonna be getting anymore big updates. As far as they’re concerned the game is “finished”, despite there being loads of shit that is blatantly incomplete. I used to really like and respect them but they’ve lost all of that because of their israelitery. Cherry on top is them releasing a 2nd supporter pack prior to announcing that they’re essentially abandoning the game. Devs are giga-homosexuals
how is it unfinished? the original release was pretty much feature complete and they just kept adding onto it

Again, this wouldn’t be as big a deal if they hadn’t pivoted to a seasonal model, they set the precedent that the game would continue to receive content and improvements. Also the fact that in the grand scheme of things the game only recently exploded in popularity sours this “end of life” shit even more
I think thats just a symptom of how scandi devs never know how to actually balance anything.

I dont think it's unfinished as much as unbalanced as far as skill points, resources etc go. Again, ill concede on the error cubes. But skill points etc I think were just not fully thought out features they added as they went
Only tried the demo but it felt like it would've worked a lot better as a proper twinstick shooter intead of creatively bankrupt indie meme of the month genre

Needs full manual control of your primary weapon. Or better yet all four but you have to swap between them during reloads. Auto shooting is fricking gay and makes the game way too passive.
None of the overclocks should be pure stat changes, it's boring when they're just a slightly better standard upgrade. Overclocks should do something drastic to how the weapon behaves.
Game needs proper caves and exploration not shitty square arenas with a few rocks you can dig through.
Game seems balanced to me

With a mining mechanic, yeah. I think it works really well, if you like the VS gameplay you’ll like this.
I’ve played most of the VS clones and this is one of the best. Light on content right now and not much depth compared to say Death Must Die or Halls of Torment but it’s really fun.
Haz 1-3 are insanely overtuned in terms of difficulty.
Upgrades arent big enough increments to be noticiable
Not enough boss/unit variety
Overclock unlock mechanic is trash and needs to be removed
Some weapons are OP, others are meh
Rerolls being linked to currency rather than a number that you can upgrade feels bad
It's a 6/10, needs more content and polish in game balance. Wait 6 months/ 1 year more and see if they fix shit
im amazed at the play numbers for a single player game.
