if you connect controller, you can move around in the overworld without having to use the janky ass clicking around or keeping mouse button pressed all the time and hope that you're not going down because then your mouse will go over the action things and the character will stop or slow down.
but there's no option to do that if you use mouse and keyboard? like why the frick not?
I agree to be honest. The game is great and i thoroughly enjoyed it, but i do hate turn based combat and the combat was a slog to go through. If the game was more action based like Dragon Ages i would have enjoyed the game even more.
This pisses me off also. You can plug in a controller and then you can actually run around the world between combat similar to Dragon Age but using a controller fricks you with the dozens of menu options you have to go through constantly. There is no way to toggle the controller style movement on keyboard so you get best of both worlds. It's bullshit.
yea with controller the movement is more enjoyable and you have more control over the camera, but then the menus suck even more than by with keyboard mouse setup.
you could just swap between controller and keyboard/mouse, but then because the whole ui changes if you do that there's always delay when it changes the ui

>janky ass clicking
literally THE fastest AND comfiest way to play.
again: kys troony, kys.
It'd be too chaotic and look incredibly stupid. Like MMOs where a mass of characters just run in spamming shit all over the place. Literally dumber than Dynasty Warriors. BG3 is a tactics-style game, the fun comes from exploiting the action economy and positioning to create combo attacks or kill enemies with the environment.
>click where I want to go >party pathfinds to it
is this really all it takes to filter zoomies, they can't play a game without constantly holding down a joystick?
In reality it's more like >click to where you want to go >for some reason 1 or 2 party members refuse to move or jump the tiny ledge >you're forced to tab to them and manually move them or make them jump >the rest of your party will automatically then run or jump back as you do >if you don't want to deal with this you have to manually de-tach the problematic party member, swap to them, make them move/jump, then reattach them >you have to do this constantly
I too wish for a Gauntlet Legends remake.
I thought it had been remade recently?
the original game was remade in 2014. that's the newest one
Has it? Because a PC version with something on the level of Deep Rock Galactic drop in/out missions would be immediate GOTY.
it hasn't
Thank you for your input, zoomer kun
just play baldur's gate dark alliance 1 or w
I got your back op

WASD movement mod is mandatory imo
should have been real time
You have a plethora of shitty real time infinity engine dnd games. Let me have this one
have a nice day, troony.

if you hate trannies I guess you also hate BG3 and Larian
welcome brother

the whole game is broken, its better to move around on the gamepad but the combat is better on the mouse and KB.
its like the team of devs took sides and are fighting for how this game should be played
that doesn't fix the god awful marvel tier dialogue and story

the camera movement was seven levels of moronic when you play on the mouse, its obviously their first attempt and it failed.
what about the gay infestation
they are releasing more videos of sex in the senate
>hack and slasher
i hate this millennialcore genre so much its unreal
>drop the turn based combat
Drop yourself from a rooftop, ADHD ridden zoomBlack person.
Is this game better on console?
My understanding is that they made the controller support surprisingly good for a crpg. I think pc is still superior for future mod support
>future mod support
lol
One of the biggest crpgs is bound to get some UGC. I'd be happy with a sliver of what Solasta has
Someone gift me this game so I can form an opinion on it
