My brother threw up on mine.

how is that the CPU's fault?

      *APU's fault*

Intel CPUs are better in every single way. AMD exists as poorgay copium. That being said you should be able to emulate a fricking DS game without issue. Probably need to check your settings.

It's a driver issue, AMD sucks for OpenGL.

What emulator are you using? Using a crappy CPU just makes emulation slower, it doesn't introduce graphical artifacts. melonDS is the currently recommended DS emulator.

        OpenGL with your CPU?
Are you a super moron? There should be IQ tests for creating threads

It literally worked fine a year ago, but then AMD "revamped" it's OpenGL drivers and now textures flicker all the time.

Then just downgrade your driver if you know what the problem is?

Like a page fault? An instruction pre-fetch abort? What kind of fault? Narrow it down for me.

Pokemon games are a pain because DeSmune devs outright say on their site they hate Pokemon and will avoid fixing issues for other games if it will fix up Pokemon.

Soul Silver is the peak of the entire franchise and I refuse to hear otherwise. Heart Gold gays need not apply.

Interesting, why is Soul Silver better than Heart Gold? I thought they were the same games other than different cover, legendary, menu and some Pokemon being available on one but not the other?

Available Pokémon is probably the reason.
The only thing I like about SS is the ability to get Groudon, but HG has the better version specific Pokémon IMHO (Kyogre sux).

I've always hated when Game Freak mismatches legendaries legendaries.

        >SoulSilver, Lugia, a legendary that resides far below the ocean's surface and uses water type moves
        >gets Groudon for some reason
        >red Pokémon with a silver game
        >not red with a gold game

        >Ω Ruby: Palkia, the Pearl legendary
        >pearls, clams, sea
        >sounds like it belongs in α Sapphire, Kyogre is the legendary Pokémon of the sea
        >oh, but wait! Palkia is pink and pink is closer to red therefore it goes in the Groudon/Ruby game!

        Frick off, Game Freak.

I assume the point is to give a good legendary that's NOT the exact same as the box legendary, so you can feasibly use both without clashing.

Why would I want two water legendaries instead of having both a water and fire legendary?

The way they do it us better.
The best way would be to remove exclusive editions with exclusive Pokemon once and for all

opengl has problems on all emulators
melonds is getting comute shaders soon that should be able to upscale in software mode without graphical bugs

the only people who ever recommend AMD are the ones currently using their products. they're crabs in a bucket and you're now in there with them.
