I started playing it yesterday after having it sitting in my backlog since 2018. it's not bad so far but just like the first the edgy humour is cringe as frick
i actually liked it more than 3
i got three friends to buy 2 to play some coop with them but everyone hated it and dropped it after we played one session together, fricking homosexuals
movement and combat was fun
managing the 10 billion widgets you pick up to make more widgets to make more widgets to upgrade your weapons was beyond tedious
I too enjoyed Shadow Warrior 2 and found 3 to be shit.
and he won't ever stop making jokes about it, like "who want some wang". it's mildly funny the first time but gets annoying the 20th one
Eh, some are funny because of how stupid they are >Mess with the bull , get the wang >I like my demons like I like my coffee splatterd all over the floor
But to be fair, I even enjoyed Atomic hearts jokes. Must be a 90's kid thing
>I am the only person on Ganker who enjoyed Shadow Warrior 2
Nah, you are not. I really did like that game too, spend like 100 hours on it at minimum. It's a fascinating game, really, it has much, MUCH more depth and complexity than people realize.
But I do understand why most people didn't. I think the game tried to appeal to people who both enjoy pure chaotic action, and people who enjoy spread-sheet simulators and are willing to spend 20 minutes optimizing their weapon loadout per each 50 minutes of actual action.
And that is a very small niche to appeal to.

I'm not into dick jokes, but there is actually one dick joke in SW2 that made me genuinely laugh like a crazy person. The sole genuinely good joke in the game.
>spend 20 minutes optimizing their weapon loadout per each 50 minutes of actual action.
yeah, miss me with that shit. I just play like a regular shooter, no updates whatsoever
Hello Anon! I am also Anon, in another universe different from the one you reside in. In our world Shadow Warrior 2 is widely regarded and enjoyed as a perhaps somewhat flawed but ultimately quite entertaining title, especially if utilizing the opportunity to play the campaign as a co-op with friends.
I got it on gamepass and yeah. Honestly I liked it so much I'd say it's worth whatever it's actual price currently is. Under the assumption you're aware of the humor of the franchise and can stand that.
I feel like they wanted to keep the original game's comedy, but that was heinously dated by the time these games came out so it just fell flat. Like it was funny to have your character say 'Who wanta sum Wang' in the 90s, but it doesn't play so well today.
I am the only person on Ganker who enjoyed Shadow Warrior 2
my friend normie who browses Ganker likes that game too
what a homosexual
you should stop hanging out with people like that
yeah we haven't talked for awhile now
The lack of self-awareness is palpable

No, I enjoyed SW2. Not as much as SW but it was still enjoyable
Unfortunately, I did too
I fricking love Shadow Warrior 2. I even enjoyed it more than Doom 2016.

That's fair. Solid gameplay marred by lootshit.
Bit like Nioh in that respect.

We get it, you like eating shit.
nope, it's rough around the edges but when it all comes together it can be a lot of fun never played it co-op though
same

That's fine but it means you haven't experienced pure kino like this:

h-hello
I literally just finished shadow warrior 3. This planet is a simulation I swear.
Is SW3 worth pirating?
Hi Bob
Who?

imagine if they did a modern duke nukem haha. thank god that never happened
>Shadow Warrior (1997 video game)
>character is named Lo Wang
The main character himself is a dick joke
and he won't ever stop making jokes about it, like "who want some wang". it's mildly funny the first time but gets annoying the 20th one
SW1 is the only one worth playing
He is a NERD and collects comic books...I can relate he is literally ME.
I liked both. Not buying 3 because when people say a game sucks I believe them.
1 > 2 >>>>>>>>>>>> 3
Heh, Wang.
Shadow Warrior 2 gave me a headache to play, though. One of the filters or just the color palette messed with my eyes.
YOU NO MESS WITH LO WANG
Humour was neutered in 2, Lo Wang submits meekly to girl bosses and jokes about the chuds who dont.
>nooooooo you can't say normal it's not 4chud enough
pic rel did it way better.
The parodic advertisment game they made to sell it was far better. Bulletstorm itself was just a mediocre console shooter at its core
It was by no means great but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. It stood out from all the brown CoD shooters at the time.
kino af
lmao, how come i never heard of this back in the day
TOP G THE GAME
Meanwhile, actual chinese history
Is 3 good?
It is truly awful in every way.
WHO WANTA SOME WANG
Duke Nukem?
