Really? Why do bg3 and dos2 have so unmemorable tracks? Not bad ones, only unmemorable.

        >Kirill Pokrovsky was an amzing composer who passed away shortly after D:OS release
        True
        >I can't remember a single tune from the D:OS2 soundtrack.
Not true for me at least

Kiril is the better composer but Bobby is better than most wrpg composers and is an alright successor

Shit, thx for linking didn't read that one.

Hence me writing dos2. Yeah, he was really something else.

The only one I can actually remember is the beginning of fort joy. Unfortunately they changed the tone of the game into haha, bet you didn't see that coming, look, kawoom, lmao, instead of the mood the track sets the first couple of seconds.

      >I was five when my dog died after eating my father who tried to save me from the avalanche. This game helped me to recover after this accident. I still have a photo of my dog reminding me of my father when I play this game every day
      what the frick???

        >he died thx to same unnatural cause
        >only thing reminds me that I had a father was is X

I stopped looking at steam reviews after getting fed up with: "I wanted to like this game, but...."
I stopped looking at youtube comment section after getting fed up with: "I like how ..." or "%Insert_quote_from_video%".

There was a specific track from D:OS I just can't seem to find anymore. It's the very first tune that plays when you land for the first time on the beach as Roderick and Scarlett, right after the tutorial. I've even checked the 7 hour youtube compilation.

That's pretty weird if its not even in the 7 hour youtube compilation
I dont have the game anymore but if you or anyone does check and see if its what u remember? If it is upload it anon, the world needs to document the music
Honestly i remember it being the same for DOS2, there were like hours of unused songs that they didnt put in the official soundtrack for some strange reason. let's hope BG3 is different

            >I dont have the game anymore but if you or anyone does check and see if its what u remember?
I'm trying to look it up on "no commentary" videos but I'm not hearing it, either. Maybe it's missing from the enhanced edition. I'll continue looking later but yeah it starts off sort of military drill army-percussion beat into a piratey tropical instrument I don't know how else to describe it.

I wish you the best of luck anon. I was thinking of getting it and playing it again but with BG3 so close i dont know if I have the time to commit to a playthrough
              >Maybe it's missing from the enhanced edition.
That'd be strange. In these situations the best way would be to ask the composer himself since he would know his work well, but unfortunately that can't be done. I doubt the Larian PR team would know that much if you sent them an email

    I broke the game once
    >Playing Divine Divinity
    >Game gives you two teleportation pyramids
    >One you keep on you, the other you leave where you want to teleport to
    >Come across a locked room with a tiny barred window
    >Slip my pyramid thru the bars and it lands on the other side of the door
    >Start feeling like this is one of the most creative ways ive accessed a locked room in a game before
    >Click teleport, game locks up
    >Try to reload and save is corrupted
    >Complain on Larian forums
    >Dev asks for the game file
    >Unfricks it and sends it back
    >Did i mention i pirated the game?
    >Tell myself ill buy it since the devs were so nice to me
    >its been like 10 years
