Valve puts it up there. People thought it was dollars that mattered. But other ways to see sales totals mean it is pretty evident they are pushing ads in your face for their own hardware, as it doesn't match number of units sold or dollars sold to many of the games on the list.

They are the only Fallout games that are playable on modern windows without going through hoops, so naturally that's what normies are gonna play. Why would they bother reading a 10 page tutorial on how to get FO 1 and 2 running on Windows 10 or 11? Even FO3 doesn't run out of the box anymore on a modern OS. Bethesda are honestly stupid as frick that they release like 20 Skyrim versions but can't be bothered to release a remaster for the older Fallout titles.

I just downloaded both NV and Fallout 4 and I just can't play NV. Fallout 4 has the HD graphics pack and makes the game look pretty damn good. I lived through the PS3 piss filter era and I'm just not going to play a game that ugly in 2024.
