I like that art direction, the game looks good but I'm not getting excited before I see some gameplay footage

This is rather dark. As in dark units against dark terrain and dark UI with dark text and some grey noise over everything. As if it was made to be playable exclusively at night.

I like that russian devs finally grew out of soviet aesthetics and use Empire as inspiration more often.

Hard to tell if this strategy has any strategy from this trailer.
Feels like an Attack+Move fest instead.
UI literally looks like a mobile game with its big icons.

Game looks great but as notes my concern is will the game feature any actual strategic depth? I'm tired of games with shitty AI and no real strategy is needed to win.

Yeah, I think the whole concept of machines continuing to fight long after humans are gone is ripe for some games.

I don't trust steam any more...

It looks promising, I hope the developers will succeed, especially for the map editor.

    >vst shitters want a singleplayer RTS
    >they trash and whine when one is coming out

They want a AAA one made by a big company with a huge marketing campaign and trailers at gaming shows like Gamescon and the summer events, full cgi cinematics between every mission and an epic story like in their favorite Marvel movie.
Also it should be innovate and completely change up the stangnent genre but also it must have base building and not too many active abilities.

Grey Goo was all of that minus marketing. Nobody remembers it anymore.

Trashing and whining is a part of the creative ecosystem. It helps the devs discern what to fix and what to keep as is in spite of the complaints. It makes gamers want to check what the fuss is about, and triggers a defensive reaction when the game doesn't actually suck. Negativity can be good for business but you know what isn't? Apathy. Complete lack of interest and dead silence is the worst that can happen to a project. Anons may complain about a bunch of upcoming games but that means they care enough to keep tabs on them.
