Did I just get memed? Its mostly just button mashing on passive enemies that either die in 2 hits or 2 hours depending on stats. Climbing on enemies or stunlocking them with flashy over the top spells is fun in a jank kind of way but gets boring quick.

Baldur Gate 3 is LITERALLY DnD 5e. And Pathfinder WotR/Kingmaker is basically DnD 3.5e

It’s actually fun unlike whatever gay parry combat you are into on a PC. It’s actually really bad for adventuring if the enemies have a pattern and you are waiting for an opening in every single battle. In DD you have to strategize weopon choice and resources while attacking
You see anon.... the trick to enjoying Dragon's Dogma is to first grind out some weight increase skills. Then go full archer until you become a ranger with bullshit multi arrow. Then you can kill dragons in a few hits with broken ass damage and cheeze the game like it's fricking nothing.
