Guaranteed drops.
As in, every boss or miniboss is garanteed to drop a certain set piece and or rune.
That way, you could plan your build: "I need to kill this guy, then that one and go into this cave for a miniboss that drops the last rune I need".
Would massively improve the game.

Higher drop rates on certain items (while still keeping the numbers small) might be okay, but I don't think something like "Hell Baal now has a 100% chance to drop a Zod Rune in addition to three random endgame set pieces" would be all that appealing.

The point still stands. Playing a game and running a God Mode cheat continuously let you see the story and get loot, but if you ever go online and play by the regular rules, you're gonna frick over any allies on your team.
Fairly minimal. You get a free skill reset from Akara after the Den of Evil quest, so there's a modest amount of forgiveness and stat points can be fixed to an extent with gear. Rerolling and fine-tuning your character is also part of the experience.
How is the point still standing when he won't be going online? Why would he even play online if regular grinding is such a bother? And then you say you can accurately predict how he'll act, what is this based on? Sounds like you're projecting.

There was no point on cracking this since it was playable day 1 on private master servers, and you could download the game off blizzard CDN. the crack only gives you the option for actual offline play.
