Dynasty warriors romance of the three kingdoms has been done to death at this point. The game style is fun though, but just change up the characters and setting. Another one set during the civil war between Caesar and Pompey with all those characters including judean revolutionaries and Ptolemaic interferers could be fun too.

I said it before and I say it again I think they could do a series with Julius Caesar's time and ending with the final battle between his nephew and Cleopatra Roman husband (can't remember his name) armies.

There's no way. It would be cool by DW/SW is a money printing machine for Koei and I don't think they would want to endanger that. The last time they did a non DW/SW historical game (Warriors: Legends of Troy) it was average and didn't do very well
It doesn't work as musou because the very style of the game is adaptation of novels. Yes in novels a single general just plows through an entire army and goes to the other side

The fact that there's been so much of a gap between 9 and anything since, and that BotW's musou (which would have been the perfect time to ape 9's gameplay style) played like a normal game pretty much ensures we're not going to see Oemga Force double down.
